Re: AV 21 Death Bunny vs Adrian Kytes
Hindsight truly was 20/20. If Death had known that accepting the GM's blathering pleas for a replacement contender in last year's Summer Splash would inevitably place her on a path rife with blood feuds, vehicular theft, kidnapping, and faction warfare...well, in all likelihood she'd likely still acquiesce. But she'd have to really think about it first. In the end she'd reckon that the ultimate endgame of silencing one of the most obnoxious mouth's she'd ever come across was worth the trials and tribulations that came beforehand. Burying Adrian Kytes six feet underground would have been worth the brawling efforts alone given how much of an absolute irritant she naturally seemed to come across as. But the countdown to that little snot's demise truthfully started ticking the instance she'd thought it was particularly clever to snatch the World Title out of Death's cold dead hands through nothing but bullshit chicanery and with scarcely an honorable bone in her whole body. One would say that's when D.B. took it personally. It's what kicked off her year long campaign to end this little video-gamin troll through psychological torment and by clawing her up the ranks of her bullet-riddled faction until there were no more lackey's to hide behind. Until a palpable fervor now stirred amongst the fandom in regards to wanting to see these legends in the industry get matched up once again, and all the incentive in the world was presented to Adrian to prove that the Bullet Commando's SS win over Death was perhaps not a fluke. On the grandest wrestling stage there was, and in an arena where champions are christened and history is made...
A singular chime signaled the complete and absolute eclipsing of the stadium into abject darkness, not one fleeting glint of luminescence could be seen as an ebon shadow muted out all sense of hope and faith-driven optimism. And yet, in a maddened fervor that shook the stadium to its very core, a raucous clamor of vociferous pandemonium burst forth from the cheering masses as all of that pent-up anticipation was finally given its opportunity to vent. A midnight tint of shaded blue was reflected all along the entrance-way and was therefore the only visible structure being lit before several plumes of hellfire started shooting upward at the top of the ramp from beneath the suddenly fogged over flooring. Neither the floor nor the reasoning behind where the flames were coming could be ascertained from beneath the nebulous mist. Visions of lightning alongside a full moon were being broadcast from the monolithic screen until a lone silhouette would shamble forth from seemingly out of nowhere.
People captivated by the sight of such an unequaled presentation as she took plodding, prolonged steps down the Brooklyn Bridge decorated ramp. "..." A stalled cease in her motions abruptly halted the foreboding ceremony as Death perked up an eyebrow coffin presented at ringside. A drastically uncommon occurrence for an entrance of this vaunted magnitude. One that, while it was anything but conventional, had become practically ritualistic in its solemnity and where deviations were seen as downright sacrilegious. And yet The Grim One unflinchingly remained stalwart in her ponderous exception of the coffin situated on a reinforced stand veiled in a necrotic shroud all around it. Something truthfully seeming amiss when cameramen started peeking from behind their lenses, although none having the gumption to ask question or radio for assistance. Announcers as baffled as everyone else by how everything had ground to a standstill, until Death started started taking encroaching steps towards the head of the coffin to peruse what had caught her attention. Words in the back of her head giving her reason to pause and begin inspecting the solemn tomb with her hand smoothly gliding across it with a respectful and somber earnestness in regard to what this wooden overcoat represented. A final destination Adrian had assigned herself to, and now it was her job to ensure Ade's date with death goes uninterrupted...

Re: AV 21 Death Bunny vs Adrian Kytes
The odd pause in proceedings was a cause for mass confusion. This was Madison Square Garden! If anyone would have spent the past three months deriving a massive entrance that had throwbacks to the arena's history, it would be amateur wrestling historian Adrian Kytes. Even if she was in a terrifying position having to face down the rabbit that had crippled her before and triumphed in her set-destroying brawl with the Big Guns, this was an opportunity that only came once in a life time. So... where was she?
Where was the music?
The lights?
The announcers denouncing NOOORTH CAROLINAA?
They were nowhere to be found, just the awkward ambience of what felt like a video game glitching and not loading the next entrance as though they were in a 2K published annual instalment. Only, when Death Bunny had enough of waiting and threw open the casket she'd hoped to throw Adrian in and seal her fate once and for all, she found that someone had beaten her to the punch.
Adrian Kytes had been in the pre-prepared casket the whole time, laying still until the Grim Hopper opened the chest to a sudden spout of flame. A pre-packaged portion of flash paper was ignited and launched up into the face of the purple haired powerhouse in a blinding fireball, giving Adrian the chance to scurry out and the match to begin in shocking circumstances.

Re: AV 21 Death Bunny vs Adrian Kytes
...sneaking suspicions abounded. Call it a gut feeling, honed intuition, or a paranoid neurosis from being distinctly familiar with the type of deceitful bullshit chicanery that little troglodyte was capable of. Whatever one would label it, suddenly Death became acutely aware of the telltale signs al around her that were pointing towards something being amiss now permeating the atmosphere. All starting with how The Dead Woman's entrance was going on first when typically she preferred the opposite...combined with how no one had seen hide nor hair of Adrian all day...or how their their were seemingly zero preparations made for Ade's stereo-typically overbearing entrance...and how the casket at ringside seemed somewhat askew. Off-balance even. Unfortunately, all Death's detective skills got her was an explosive plume of a fireball blasted into her stunned expression after the coffin's lid flew open!!!
*FOOM!!!*
"SUNNOVABITCH!!!" Death repelled and backpedaled in bellowed fury but crisscrossed her legs into an immediate heap on the floor, both hands clutching her seething and scorched visage as the houselights illuminated the arena once again. Making the culprit evident even though everyone could have guessed who it was right off the bat. A flabbergasted referee flailed her arm to signal the bell for the match's abrupt commencement under perhaps the most unfair and disjointed of circumstances imaginable, which was with a sightless Death spastically writhing about and frantically stamping her feet into the matted flooring. One concerted effort followed another however as she soldiered herself back to her warbling legs and scrambling back into the ring by rolling underneath the bottom rope, still clamping onto her singed face with now completely blinded eyes. A deluge of visceral disdain for the commando making it known she may be the most reviled person on the island of Manhattan, which in retrospect was saying a lot.

Re: AV 21 Death Bunny vs Adrian Kytes
Like the Dark Knight himself, all Adrian had wanted to deal with Death Bunny was some prep time. Last year the Dead Rabbit had gotten away with catching the former cosplayer off guard as she was expecting the show off after Alaina's... unfortunate accident... and the last time the two faced off it was because the purple haired phantom had hijacked the ambulance that an already beaten Adrian was being driven off in. The brunette had to jump from the back of a moving ambulance to save herself! Fortunately she landed on the hood of a taxi that the Wild Mares had commandeered and so was only out of action for a... short amount of time, but she was back now and out for revenge.
She knew Death Bunny would come at her with everything she had, so it was up to her to respond in kind.
The Memphis Fireball was old old school but it was frighteningly effective at turning the intimidating figure to a panicked mess, as the black-clad ex-champ climbed out of the casket and into the ring just in time to see a desperate Bunny jump in as well... and stay low. Low enough, blind enough, that she was in perfect position for Adrian to hit the ropes behind her and shoot forward, swinging one leg past DB's head while her knee collided with the back of her foe's skull. A first and Last Surprise for the phenom that she never saw coming.

Re: AV 21 Death Bunny vs Adrian Kytes
Cinematic, though Adrian's recollection of events may have seemed, Death would be remiss to not rectify certain audacious fallaciousness in regard to Ade's retelling. In other words, D.B. was calling bullshit. Whatever T.J. Hooker action set piece Adrian detailed was a far cry from The Wild Mares finding the abandoned ambulance on the roadside with their leader sucking her thumb in huddled fear. Tokyo police having caught wind of the kidnapping and some tire damage suffered to the ambulance were the actual reasons why Death opted to cut her losses that day. She'd typically give props to Adrian for being the Spalding Grey of outright fiction, but right now nothing trumped wanting to crack her knuckles against this duplicitous f**king twerp's face.
Blinded in searing hot rage to match the combustible fireball blasted into her facials, Death instinctually clambered inside the ring with her tattered trenchcoat still on but brimmed hat having gotten jostled off. Adamantly seeking refuge wherever she could find it and at least gaining familiarity in her incomprehensible surroundings by affirming that she was indeed back inside the squared circle. She shuffled onward in burning darkness and uncharacteristically defenseless, eyes clenched down as she started to steadily rise up to her knees. Although in all likelihood, even if her eyesight was currently 20/20, she'd be unlikely to notice the kneecap about to clobber her in the back of her skull. The Grim Hopper crumbling to a succumbed flounder afterward in the middle of the ring, lifeless and inert even for one whose purportedly undead.

Re: AV 21 Death Bunny vs Adrian Kytes
With a powerful grunt from the smaller woman Adrian clattered to the ground having put all she could in that vicious knee strike but she was looking up at the lights with a wide smile in her face. She had given up the chance to make a grand entrance in the world's most famous arena but now the spotlight was all hers, DB was laid out and she could afford to do something she'd always dreamed of doing. The brunette picked herself off the ground with a spring in her step before turning the Bunny face-up in the centre of the ring, standing over her head as she looked out to the crowd.
With a kick to the downed Rabbit's shoulder Adrian dramatically threw her right arm out in front, grabbing her elbow pad and slowly pulling it off making even the hostile New York crowd cheer as they figured out just what the ex-champ was up to. She looked as though she was going to give someone the souvenir of a lifetime as she reeled her left arm back to throw the pad into the crowd, only to lazily toss it behind her before she set off running for the ropes. Coming back across the ring she skipped cleanly over the purple haired phenom to hit the ropes on the other side and run back as though she was doing drills, only this time when she rushed back she stalled on one leg, spinning her pad-free arm before throwing herself down, planting her elbow into the big chest of the powerhouse for all the people in attendance... and mostly for herself getting to do the People's Elbow in Madison Square Gardens.

Re: AV 21 Death Bunny vs Adrian Kytes
Star swirling visions and medical personnel coaxing you out of unconsciousness with nothing but a pinfall loss to awaken to. This was the stereotypical aftermath from being blindsided by a meteoric strike formidable enough to kayo heavyweights and renew appreciation for AFW's concussion protocols. Unfortunately, Death's scorched eyesight made it ironically impossible for her to conceivably appreciate those star-spangled envisionings in the first place after the battered reaper's carcass flumped over herself. Alongside her other muted senses, one could understand why she couldn't ascertain the foggiest notions about anything that was transpiring around her immediate vicinity aside from feeling herself being abruptly jostled over onto her back with what she vaguely recognized were Adrian's legs situated beside her bunny-eared head.
Uproarious excitement emanated from the spectators upon recognizing the telltale signs and started smelling what Adrian was cooking. A vast majority of them even brought to their feet as sparkled flashes abounded from cameras all throughout the arena and eternally capturing the moment as the Bullet Club Leader started sprinting from one side of the ring to another. Skipping over the splayed out Dead Woman who remained practically motionless aside from the jiggled sway to her abundancy due to Adrian's stamping steps jostling the ring canvas all round them. Unknowingly perhaps influencing where Adrian would ultimately impale her elbow as Death spasmed over to lay on her front side on impact, facials scrunched as she hacked out a groan and halfheartedly shielded her boob after being the mortified recipient of the most electrifying move in sports entertainment.

Re: AV 21 Death Bunny vs Adrian Kytes
"Yeah!" Adrian cheered as she sat up next to the groaning Death Bunny, applauding her own success before picking herself up to her feet and pulling the much heavier rabbit up for the same. There was no way she was going to roll the heavyweight all the way to the coffin after all, it was much easier to lead the purple haired phenom across the ring on her own two legs and then throw her through the ropes and in the casket while she was still reeling from the spirit-bomb like force of the millions-
-AND MILLIONS-
-of Adrian's fans delivered through the medium of an elbow drop. "Come on," the crafty brunette told her foe, trying to hoist her towards the side of the ring "In ya go."

Re: AV 21 Death Bunny vs Adrian Kytes
Hugging her swelled chest from a showboating elbow drop that by all wrestling logistics should not have felt as debilitatingly electrifying as it did, Death grimaced and lamented becoming so thoroughly undone by the conniving Faction leader whilst practically still in the match's infancy. Being at the treacherous imp's mercy like this was a considerable strike to her pride as is, except that Adrian's adjacent celebrating was accompanied with what appeared to be an earnest attempt at escorting the Dead Woman's carcass back up to her feet and towards the ringside casket. Efforts that seemingly bore fruit as Death unwillingly capitulated while hunched over...
...until all forward progress ceased on a dime as she staunchly stood her ground. An undead stone statue practically melded onto the canvas, although with a tightened grip just as fiercely attached to Adrian's wrist. The auburn haired commando perhaps unaware of her grave mistake as a tensed uproar began emanating from the hyped audience members as a blinded Death abruptly yanked Adrian back towards her. After hooking her arm across Ade's chest and tucking her bunny-eared cranium underneath her foe's arm, a pivoting hoist from Death ensured the brunette would have plenty of hang-time before ultimately hitting Rock Bottom in a spinning side slam attempt.
