[FWC] Lee Seong-ji (N. Korea) vs. Colonel Granite (Canada)

Lee knew that look too well. The look of a woman who thought she was winning, who thought she knew something about the way the world worked, who thought she was in control. A woman who needed careful, thoughtful correction, the kind Seong-ji excelled in providing.

She swung the stick down again, no doubt looking to batter Seong-ji until she could no longer rise. A wise strategy, if inelegant, but she knew how to respond.

She jerked up and grabbed the kendo stick as it came down, letting it crack right in the palm of her hand. It hurt. It stung. It burned. Boned were cracked, if not broken, but it was worth it. She jerked up, opened her mouth, and tried to bite the little wastrel right on her neck.

Oh, darn. The Colonel couldn't push Lee away in time, but there was something she could do. She shifted ever so slightly, barely avoiding a more dangerous bite to one of her major blood vessels. The downside was that the North Korean now had a firm teeth to flesh grip on her neck.

"AAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGH!!"

Never before had Morgan wanted to hurt somebody so badly. Her contempt surged as her free hand reached up to trap Lee's. The plan was to reach behind the torturer's body, thread her arm through the space between Lee's arm and body to keep it useless, and then ram the North Korean into the ringpost. She could only hope that this would dislodge the attacking soldier. The blood running down her neck wasn't much right now, but the grinding motion against the wound still hurt pretty bad.

Blood. Seong had tasted it many times. Too many times in her own mouth, when she was struck and disciplined. It was a familiar, metallic taste, but this was the first time she had tasted someone else's. It utterly disgusted her to have some part of this woman inside her own body, made her want to retch. But Granite's scream of pain was a worthy reward for that revulsion.

Granite pulled Seong away before she could bite down even harder, slamming into the ring post and trapping her arm, but if she thought this would save her she was sadly mistaken. Seong still had two able-bodied legs, and she used them to wrap around the Canadian's body and squeeze away at her ribs, screaming as she poured on the pressure.

Things had not exactly worked out for Granite. Lee was now crushing the breath out of her with those murderous legs of hers, and she didn't quite know what to do. Her arms were trapped, ehr legs were giving out from the accumulated damage over the match, and now she was being slowly being taken out by the hold she had. There... There wasn't a single escape method she could think of!

Wait. Think. Think?

Her eyes cleared. Lee's head was basically an inch or two away from the steel post. If her supply of air was bound to run out, then she simply had to knock the North Korean out before she went down! This was it. The final stretch of the match. She felt just the slightest twinge of sympathy before she did what she had to do. Staring the crazed torturer right in the eye, she clenched her teeth and hunched over to deliver a headbutt!

A headbutt. Of all things, a simple headbutt. In hindsight, Seong-ji should have seen it coming - it was just the sort of thing a boneheaded woman like Granite would do, wasn't it?

The blow smacked her right on the nose and make her head jerked back, cracking against the ring post and cutting off her cry of pain. Her body slackened. Her world went blank. Her legs lost their power for a precious moment, easing up on the hold and leaving her vulnerable.

It was the last chance Morgan had to escape. With a desperate yell, she pushed Lee back as she staggered away from the North Korean. She sincerely didn't know if her opponent was out, but she did know that she was at her wit's end. If the torturer got back up one more time, Morgan didn't know if she'd be able to fight back. That was just how much the fight and all of her panicking had taken out of her.

She backed up a few more steps, trembling as she held the kendo stick in front of her like a protective blanket. What would Lee do?

Seong-ji didn't really know what was happening. She wasn't awake, but she wasn't fully out, either. She was flying. Being pushed. She hit the ground hard, right on her back, bouncing a little with the impact. Her eyes fluttered open, she started to sit up, groaning and growling all the way, fury playing across her eyes.

...and then she fell back, gasping as she stared up. "I hate you. So much."

Morgan had to admit, she was close to screaming in terror when Lee started to sit up. The woman was like a zombie, and she was weak towards horror movies. For once, her luck held out as the torturer fell back down. She wasn't out, but it wasn't like she seemed to be in a fighting state. The kendo stick wobbled as the Canadian bruiser put a hand to her bleeding neck wound. She was on her last legs as well, but she couldn't let herself fall just yet.

"Surrender. Surrender or I'm going to break you- your kneecaps." Her voice wavered with exhaustion, but she slapped the floor with the stick to try and psych herself up. "You hear me, Lee? I will put you in traction!"

Seong-ji could barely believe she heard what she was hearing. For a moment, she thought it was just a hallucination, that she was going crazy. This woman - this idiotic slattern - couldn't possibly be suggesting that she, Lee Seong-ji of the the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, would surrender? Surrender?

Seong-ji managed to crane her neck up enough to glare at Granite. "Don't go for the kneecaps. The pain dulls too fast below the waist, and it's easy to live with a wheelchair. Relatively speaking. You want the upper body. Elbows. Fingers. Much harder to live without, since you use your arms for so much. The thought of losing them creates more fear."

She laid her head back, sighing. "Just pin me and be done with it, you idiot. You don't have what it takes to do what I do."

Lee creeped Morgan out, there was no denying it. But as they were now, could she really... Ah, damn it. She'd take the risk. With heavy steps, the false soldier dragged herself over to the fallen torturer. Good gosh, this was slow. Could she even make it to her?

"You're right. I don't have the guts." She groaned as she pinned the North Korean. "But I don't need the nightmares, miss. Keep your courage."

She was practically dead weight on top of Lee. Heck, she didn't know if she could even stand back up after this. At least this was a victory, right?
