[FWC] Lee Seong-ji (N. Korea) vs. Colonel Granite (Canada)

Finally, the little fool was making a noise that Seong-ji was satisfied with - all the prattling was starting to wear even on her inscrutable nerves. It wasn't as solid a hit as she planned, but a hit nonetheless, and it put Granite with back to the ropes, exactly where Seong-ji wanted her.

Taking page from actual wrestling, Seong-ji grabbed Granite by the wrist and flung her to the rope, whipping her across the ring - when she came bouncing back, she would be greeted by the heel of Seong's boot, flying toward her forehead with a quick side kick.

Caught by Lee's viper-like arms, the Colonel briefly feared that she was about to be taken down to the ground and dissected like a frog. Luckily, it was more of a case where she was saved by a shift in the soldier's style. It wasn't easy, but she ducked down beneath the kick before it could take her head off at the shoulders. Forcing herself to stop right beside Lee, she skidded slightly before managing to pivot and reach out with her toned arms.

If she succeeded at grabbing the North Korean from behind, she'd put in some real muscle and do a deadlift German on her. That, she believed, would knock the fearsome grappler for a loop.

Ducked. The little girl was swifter than Seong-ji first imagined. Breaking her would take a while, she figured. More so than she would have liked.

But she would break. Like all the others.

Before she could do that, however, she would have to endure Granite's counterattack, and she had an impressive one planned, as it turned out. Seong-ji was grabbed from behind and hurled over in a more classic wrestling move than the one she used, with a name that escaped her - remembering things was quite difficult when her head was slammed on the floor. She let out a sharp cry and rolled around, eyes shut with the pain, cursing under her breath.

Things were going her way for once, it seemed. The Colonel scrabbled to her feet, almost frantic in her attempts to get up before the North Korean did. She hadn't thought of this idea before, but it was the right time to go for it. In the absence of polished submission skills and fearing her opponent's own tremendous grappling ability, there was only one response she could think of. With that, the Canadian bruiser moved over to Lee's legs and tried to make a grab for them.

Yes, that was right. She was going to try and execute a giant swing on her opponent.

Seong-ji was going to make this woman scream. Make her speak secrets and truths that she wouldn't have revealed to her most intimate partners. Flayed the flesh clean from her bones, again and again, until she simply ran out of tears to cry...and...why was the world spinning.

As sense returned to Seong-ji, her eyes opened as the spinning feeling set in, her hands flailing about, completely helpless as she was spun around like a record. She wiggled her legs and tried to pull up, but the momentum only forced her back down again, grunting and screaming in rage all the way. "Let me go!"

"Sure thing, miss!" Given the damage she had taken earlier, her ability to maintain the spin without losing her breath wasn't all that great. With a slight wheeze, she only did a few more rotations before chucking Lee towards the ropes. The Colonel immediately stumbled backwards, her head spinning as well. Apparently, getting dizzy when she couldn't intake that much air was a bad, bad idea. If the North Korean recovered before she did, she'd be in big trouble right there.

"Gu... guh...." The pink haired bruiser hung back on the ropes, clearly struggling to re-find her bearings.

Ugh.An admittedly poor choice of words.

Sure enough, Granite did 'let her go' - sending her flying across the ring, rolling once before she was sent careening away, he r light frame tumbling across the ring. She just able to grab the ropes at the last second, keeping her from falling out, with one leg perilously dangling over the side. It would have been an unfortunate landing. Would have.

She pulled herself back into the ring and started to stand up, seeing that Granite was still reeling from the effects of the move, herself. Deciding to eschew more complicated attacks and simply go for something brutal and effective, Seong-ji stepped forward and threw a straight punch right at the irritating Canadian's face, looking to lay her out and work from there.

Well, darn. Lee was better than the Colonel had taken her for. Without much of a choice left in the matter, she had to take the punch to the face. The Colonel wasn't going to let the North Korean take her down so easy, though. She let the momentum take her as she forced herself over the ropes, ending up with her falling out of the ring. It was a rough landing, but she grinned wearily as she laid in a tired heap outside. Lee wanted to hurt her, huh? Alright, then. She'd let the sadist come to her, instead.

She raised one hand, putting her palm up as she waved Lee over. Apparently, Koreans called their dogs over that way. She wasn't quite sure if that was the case, but she took the gamble anyways.

It wasn't like this was an ideal situation, but she had to win however she could. If it would get Canada higher in the FWC rankings, she'd take anything.

Of all the ridiculous, idiotic, incoherent strategies...

The punch landed, giving Seong-ji far more satisfaction than she could have ever dreamed. Even she had to admit, there was something so very satisfying about landing a simple punch, crude and base as it was. But the punch did far more than she intended, taking Granite of the ring and dumping her outside, once again, in that annoying area. Which meant more frustration was likely to come.

Sure enough, she beckoned Seong like a dog with that rancid smile on her face, one more offense that would certainly not be forgotten. Fuming, she slid out of the ring and tried to kick Granite before she could rise, aiming to strike her side.

The Colonel yelped in pain as the kick landed flush on her side, but this wasn't the end of the match for her. Her eyes briefly went to the nearby ringpost, but quickly went back to Lee. She just curled up and retrated, waiting for the next strike as she slowly inched her way towards the steel post. This wasn't a good strategy at all, but she wouldn't complain if it worked. Granted, it might send her opponent to the hospital, but she wasn't so charitable as to let the North Korean off easily.

"Come on. What's the matter, afraid you'll break your foot on my gut?" She asked, half boasting as she crawled.
