[FWC] Lee Seong-ji (N. Korea) vs. Colonel Granite (Canada)

Seong-ji liked to think of herself as a patient woman. After all, her business required some ability to withstand the tests of time. Many of her subjects were stubborn. Care had to be taken. Often it might take days, even weeks to glean just the right information from them - one particularly hardened subject required three months before he finally broke and told her all she needed to know and quite a few things she did not.

Somehow, though, Granite was pushing even her restraint to the breaking point, and after such a short amount of time. It might have been impressive, were it not so flagrantly irritating.

Granite defied the steadfastness of her namesake and ran again, heading back into the ring, standing there with the chair, ready to strike. Clearly, she projecting her own stupidity onto others; Seong-ji was hardly idiotic enough to charge into such a clear trap. No, there were better ways to deal with this.

Seong-ji stepped back and swung her whip through the bottom rope, trying to snag Granite's ankle and start dragging her back inside - if she would choose to flee rather than fight honorably, she would have those choices taken away from her.

Attacking with the speed of a viper, the North Korean soldier made the Colonel pay for her mistake.The whip caught her ankle, beginning the long and drawn out process of dragging her back inside. This would've been a situation where she'd start screaming her head off, if not the bad experiences she had when she wrestled in Canada. The mental pressure of such a state was something she was accustomed to. Back in her time at the League, the Block Party Quebecois was fond of whips and chains, and Morgan was one of their favourite targets. She was oddly still and quiet as she let the soldier drag her onto the mat.

Keeping a tight grip on her chair, the focus in the Colonel's eyes was evident as she waited for a good moment to turn the tables.

She was quiet - too quiet. Seong-ji had put similar people in similar situations before - they were typically far more vocal. Were Granite anywhere near as tough as her namesake, it would not have been so off-putting, but that certainly wasn't the impression she had gotten so far. Did the purple-hair princess have some sort of trick in mind? A ruse behind that stoic nature?

Seong-ji cared little to find out - no need to take any chances. The most Granite was close enough, Seong would grab her nearest foot and give it a vicious twist, trying to snap the ankle as hard as she could.

The moment Lee made a grab at her foot, the Colonel knew how dangerous the North Korean was. She was the kind of grappler that had no business being here in the first place, and that was saying something. With a growl, she pulled her leg back as fast as she could. Letting her actually begin to move would've probably resulted in her having to put a boot on backwards for the next few weeks. If Lee tried to hold on, and the Colonel believed she would, then that'd put her in prime position to slam into the real soldier's kneecap with her other foot.

This Colonel was persistent, Lee would give her that - though persistence was not always an admirable quality. She refused to admit her betters, to cease this pointless struggling. Merely another thing she would need education on.

Seong held on as Granite tried to pull away, and she immediately regreted the mistake - it was merely a farce, a rouse to draw her in while granite shot a kick at her kneecap. Seong fell back and let out a short cry as she fell back and landed on her back, cursing under in her breath in a language Granite wouldn't have understood if she'd been able to hear it, anyway.

There were very few people who could recapture the advantage if the Colonel got them while they were down. Unfortunately for her, Lee was one of them. And unlike most of those few people, the North Korean was willing and glad to cause permanent damage just for kicks. That was the conclusion she had come to. Trying to face her on the ground was far worse than a face to face brawl, by far. So, with that in mind, she climbed to her feet and stood up with some effort.

"Come on now. I'm cutting the financial aid, so you'll have to stand up for yourself." She jeered, panting and scowling as she did. "Aren't you glad I'm not like my neightbours to the South? I'm not going to prop you up or overthrow those greasy hosers you serve. You'll win or lose by your own efforts. Come on. Your silver medal's waiting."

In a two-person competition, a silver medal was no award at all.

Mouthy, silly, annoying and apparently not too bright - she had Seong at a rare disadvantage. If she had been wise, she would have struck with she was down. Instead, she simply threw more ineffectual taunts. Taunts Seong-ji would make note of take into account. Later.

She rolled back into the ring and stood as fast as she could with her hurting, moving to face the Canadian in a ready combat stance. The pageantry of this match was wearing on her - it was time to fight, and she intended to bring it to Granite whether she desired it or not.

Alright. So it looked like Lee was ready as well. The Colonel smiled grimly, ready to endure the pain that would surely be raining down on her soon. It was going to suck, but letting the fans down now would be tantamount to abandoning her job. She approached, step by slow step as she started encroaching into her opponent's territory. This was it. She had crossed into the soldier's personal DMZ, and this was going to lead to harsh retaliation.

Let her come. The Colonel would crush and punch her way to a bloody victory, if need be.

Seong-ji's movements were serpentine - she swayed from side to side as she approached, her body loose, her feet gingerly sliding along the floor, eyes focused forward like a vile predator in the tall grass. When she neared Granite's space, she ducked down, trying to make the 'Colonel focus on her movement and not on what the movement was hiding - namely the quick strike as Seong-ji jumped back up and thrust her hand out in a knife strike, aimed at her throat.

Martial arts? Oh, darn. That was not good. It really did remind her of KF, the scariest bitch she ever did see. But it wasn't going to stop her here. She grit her teeth, trying to follow the movement... Only to be caught off-guard! Well, not entirely. She managed to step back at the last second, but she still got nailed in the throat, if to a lesser degree than what Lee planned. So instead of reduced to breathing through a plastic tube in her neck, she merely choked and gasped as she fell back against the ropes.

This was such a shitty situation that she couldn't even believe her rotten luck. She continued to cough, eyes tearing up from the pain and lack of oxygen.
