In Past Times

"Its getting late,m-miss Cougra.Night will soon be falling.Do you have a place to stay for the night? O-Or John? I can put you both up for the night." Anampo offered.Alibaster,who was probably up to his neck in inconclusive results and complex equations,said they would have about two days before the next Jump.

He could only hope that the 8-year old and the 12-year old would truly heed his warning....

Cougra looked out the window to see what Anampo meant. It was getting dark and it'll soon be time for the evening. She looked to the bunny girl and replied, "Well, no, I don't actually. I believe it would be greatly appreciated if we can stay with you. I might even take a look at a few of your comics if you don't mind." Cougra loved comic books and she wanted to see what their stories were about. Perhaps it can correlate later to the present.

Mr Knight looked up at the sky and noticed that the sky was getting a bit on the grey and dark side. He bit his lower lip and said to Conza "Sure, just give me a sec. I'll be right back."

Mr Knight would rush back to the windmill and head up to Anampo's room, after knocking and entering he'd say "It's getting a bit late, I'm taking a guy called Conza back to his place. I'll come back here as soon as he's back at his place."

Without sticking around to hear what the two girls said Mr Knight would get back to Conza and say "Okay let's head to your place, I'll be coming back here after your home. Don't worry I can find my way pretty easily."

Anampo must've jumped 5 feet into the air when Ryan came running back in.There wasnt really a door seperating her room from the staircase,so he just sort of...Ran in.It was only for a second.Saying something about taking a kid named Conza back home,and then running back out. "Um....O-Okay then...." She turns to Cougra. "Help me set out some cots,please? They are in the store room outside."

Conza waited patiently for Ryan. "Alright John,leave the kid who just got jumped alone....Real thoughtful" He did see though that he WAS coming back.When the kid came back,Conza began to walk home. "Thanks for taking me back.I--" He stopped.Coming towards them,was Jay.Not in a menacing way,but normally.

Cougra felt glad for Anampo when she looked happy to see Ryan, but it was true it's getting late. She followed Anampo's order and got to the store room. She would return to have the blankets set up. She then winked to Anampo that if she tells him, he'll understand.

Cougra then saw Jay as she was on guard, ready to beat him down again.

Walking outside with Cougra,the two open the store room.The cat carried the blanket,while Anampo would carry the two fold-out cots. "Thanks for your h--" Anampo saw that Cougra was tense,then saw why.In the distance,Jay walked towards the forest through the meadow.He looked distraught,and angered. "D-Don't mess with him.Leave him be..." Anampo asked

Cougra gritted her teeth as she was getting ready to claw his face. But then, Anampo had to intervene against the cat to hold her ground. After a few moments of steam, Cougra would sigh and say, "Alright...I'll leave him alone. But if he threatens anyone else, don't expect me to make promises." She continued on to the room and ignored Jay.

Ryan was thinking of what to say as he began to walk with Conza, then he saw Jay. Mr Knight's face remained stoic and neutral.

The British boy would merely say to Conza "Remind of where you place is please, sooner we get you home the better eh pal?"

(To clear confusion,Jay walked past Ryan and Conza frist,then Cougra and Anampo.)

Conza looked over to Jay.He then looked up to Ryan. "He's not right in the head....Something's wrong with him." As the bad boy passed,Conza continued on.His home was close to the front of town.

When Jay walked by Anampo's windmill,Anampo asked Cougra not to attack Jay.And there was no promise. "He doesn't threaten anyone....If anything,he protects while everyone threatens him.Sometimes I worry for him.I know its not right,but....I wonder where he sleeps at night."

Cougra now felt confused. How can Jay be protective when that didn't show earlier today? "Is he really a good person who's misunderstood or is he always like how we were treated earlier?" She continued helping Anampo while waiting for the answer. She can help the bunny out in anyway she could and hopefully, it can be for the best.
