In Past Times

Cougra smiled as she kept Anampo close and said, "I like Nick because even after seeing him once, I can tell he has a very good heart. He may be scatterbrained, but I love that he's not afraid to stand up for others." She then looked to the bunny and asked, "What is it about John that you like?"

Conza's reaction took Ryan back a little bit, but he remained composed regardless.
"If you say you're fine that's good enough for me." he said in a casual tone.

He sat down on the grass and looked up to the sky, he then said "So anyway as I said I'm new here. But this seems like a nice place, so were you having a walk today? I met Jay earlier, seems like a right thorny bush."

Anampo found Cougra to be a pretty backwards person.She and Solem were the only two children in town up to this point that didnt like to fight. "I like John because he isnt violent like other guys.And he isnt a smart-ass like Solem." She explained.Anampo got up to sit on her bed.

The small boy became confused and a bit annoyed that Ryan sits when he stood up. "John,was it? Look...You seem like a nice guy,but you shouldnt be here.Violence runs rampant." Conza struggled to answer Ryan. "I wasnt walking.I was being chased...."

Cougra nodded as she heard Anampo's reasoning. It looks like this bunny girl was supportive against violence at the time. "I see and I agree. John isn't one to pick a fight unless he's defending himself. And he cares for those he loves, that can mean you too. Oh, one thing. Don't say that comment to MY Nick. He is smart, but he also cares and I like him that way."

Ryan lightly shrugged when he heard Conza's words "I am able to fend off attackers should the need arise, I am no stranger to the art of war." he responded.

He then coughed a little and said "Anyways I was surprised by Jay when we first met him, but the new girl named Cougra certainly gave him a what for."

"I wonder where Mr Zokaro went.....Perhaps off to train in solitude, trying to gain extra power from inward himself. You gonna be alright heading back?" he asked Conza.

Anampo was starting to wonder now.It almost seemed that Cougra was....obsessed with that Nick Solem....She didn't want to ask though,for fear of retaliation.Anampo also took what was said about Ryan to heart.At this age,though....There wasn't much she could do with it.

It was hard for Conza to keep up with the small riddles.The other boy before him was not very straight-forward. "Jay? He probably went off to fight those 3.He's always tryinng to save me and stuff.He thinks I can't handle myself."

Anampo reflected on her own words and she felt a little selfish. Releasing Anampo a little and turning her head away, she would say, "I'm sorry...I didn't mean to go that far. I don't want to sound like I'm asking too much, but I just felt that Nick was the perfect guy the moment I saw him. I hope that he sees my true feelings for him."

Ryan tilted his head a little at Conza's words, then he sighed and said "That seems a bit our of character with what I know of him. The guy tried to pick a fight with me and Cougra. But he has to care about you if he's helping you pal."

Mr Knight then stood up and said "If you'll be alright heading back home then I'll catch you later, I'm always up for getting to know people."

Then he'd yawn a little and say "The journey here must have taken more out of me then I though."

Her gray eyes shimmer and she is struck with realization.Cougra and her were a bit of the same.They both had small crushes on Nick and Ryan. (Though,not both mind you.) "Dont worry,Im sure that in time he'll realize.And maybe Ryan will come around as well."

"Out of character? Jay is some sort of hero,in a sense.....How? He protects the children.But,he's not too much of a hero either.Jay will fight any and everyone that makes him stand on guard." Conza looked towards the town. "M-Maybe you can walk me home....."

"You think so?" Even though Cougra was in love with Nick, she still felt shy to tell it to him. It was better when they were older, but that was no excuse to at least try in this young age. After giving it some thought, she would lay her head on Anampo's shoulder for comfort as she said, "Thanks, Annie...I believe Ryan will come around too."
