The artist's model part 2 (For TheWamts)

"Um okay...." John said as Lia told him it was a surprise.

"I'll get us back to my....I mean our place." John said as he took the lead, holding Lia's hand as he did.
Once they got back to his place the art student would sift through his coat pockets before getting the keys to his car.
It was a red Chevrolet bel air


"I call it strawberry on the front and cream in the back." John said with a smile as he opened the passenger door for her.

"So where are we going?" he asked her as he got into the driver seat.

"Ok! We're off!", she said climbing into car, purposely not answering John when he asked where they were going. "I'll tell you where to turn, but nothing else! Let's go!"

Lia being ambiguous with her directions didn't inspire much confidence in her lover John.
"But relationships are built on trust, I'll just have to give her some." the art student thought to himself.

"Okay well I'll just drive straight on from here." he said to her, he didn't turn the sound system on just yet as he needed to focus on her directions.

Lia waited until they were on the highway, and about a few minutes after they had left the city, she told John "This is a pretty awesome car John! How'd you find it? Oh, it's not that far, just turn left at the next one and we're pretty much there.", even though a recent sign said that there was nothing there.

"Man, I can't wait to go back. It's been a few weeks since the last time I was there. And I know it's gonna be awesome."

"Heh, it was a gift for my 18th birthday. It belonged to my Grand Father." John said as he explained how he got the bel air.

"Are you sure this is the right place Lia?" he asked her as he drove the way she said.
In truth John was a bit worried here, but he's trusted Lia so far and chose to do so now.

"Wow. It must be nice to have such a nice family. Anyways, we're pretty much there. We'll have a to walk a bit to actually get there, but that's alright with you, right? Unless you want to turn back, it's in that opening.", Lia said, directing her boyfriend, and currently, the driver towards a wooded area.

"Hey, don't worry about what it looks like, I promise you it's at least as awesome as the mall you took me!"

"Uh okay, well I'll follow close to you." John said as he drove them to the wooden place.

Once it looked like the car would go no further he'd park it and turn the engine off.
"Right you lead the way." The art student would take Lia's hand and let her show him the place where she wanted him to go.

They'd walk for a few minutes, hand in hand until they reached a clearing. The trees here seemed less packed than the other areas, and the sounds of birds filled the air.



"This place just has a magical feel, you know? There's a stream out there and over there...", Lia went on, pointing out things here and there, when she saw a group of rabbits running around. "See? This place is really amazing."

John smiled as he looked around "Indeed, it is natural beauty that excels." he said.

A small bird perched itself onto John's shoulder, he turned to smile at it. It looked at him and then flew off again.
"Shall we find a place to sit, to admire the beauty as it flows around us? To see as it goes around you, the apple of my eye." he said to her as he kept holding her hand.

"You know, I'm kinda surprised they haven't made a park here or whatever people do. But I'm also glad. Right now, this is a place just for us. And I like it this way very much."

A few meters ahead was a log that had fallen over, and maybe had been for a few years. It would probably suffice as a bench, or at least it looked sturdy enough, so she sat down, seeing if John would do the same "There's a lot of stuff to see here. If you just look closely enough... I come here whenever I feel... bad. But maybe now, I can come here for something else.", her eyes sparkling as she said so, with a rather unusual smile on her lips.
