Eclipsed Eclipse

Yuuka had thought she had time to catch her breath, but the beastly maiden continued to bear down on her and she raced as fast as her legs could take her. Her heart thumped in her chest. She wasn't sure if it would give out before her burning legs but she was sure something might. At this point she hoped for the heart to give first. If the legs went, then who knew what that horrible monster might do.

When Maiden finally decided to try and cut Yuuka off by sliding through the ring, Yuuka knew that she had one last chance to escape. She backed against the barricade, intent on shielding herself among the crowd and vanishing in a sea of her fans. Her ADORING fans who would put a barrier between her and the red headed beast.

However, she seemed to be saved when the doctor called off her dog. Yuuka flopped against the barricade and pressed her hand against her chest. The other dragged her arm across her brow to wipe away the salty sweat that clung to her. She felt like she had just went through an iron woman match. But now, it seemed like she was safe. She didn't know what happened but she didn't care. Her eyes were fixated on Kayla as she climbed in the ring as well.

Natsuki had been trying to blink away the blinding arena lights and throbbing headache ever since she ate Iron Maiden's foot. She was conscious but barely and one hand came up to cover her eyes as she groaned. She'd never been hit like that in her life and she'd gone against top competitors in the Wrestle Angel's league. Her free arm stood up and she tried to prop up her body on one elbow. She had no clue what was going on or even where she was, really. Certainly not where the two fiendish interlopers were or what they were doing. Natsuki groaned and her tongue slipped out of her mouth. She tasted iron. The throbbing in her nose was suddenly amplified and she knew that her nose was bleeding. She just hoped it wasn't broken.

Her haze was interrupted by the shrill command of Kayla as she ordered Iron Maiden to finish Natsuki off. When she pulled down the hand that covered her eyes, the two tree trunks of legs crowded her vision. Her eyes followed upward, as though she would follow the legs all the way to the heavens. What she saw when she looked was two large hands coming for her. She had very little time to panic before her throat was put in a vice grip and she was yanked high into the air, dangling uselessly and trying to claw at the hands that dug fiercely into the faux maid's neck.

"Urrrgh... Urkk!" Natsuki barely gurgled.

"NATSUKIIIIIIII!"

Yuuka screamed the words, the sound of her cracking voice almost held worry in her tone. She felt no solace from the barricade that propped her up. That forced her to remain so close to the brutal women. She cringed when Natsuki was slammed down. This time the blonde was out cold. Yuuka leaned over and pressed her hands against her palms. She felt like she might vomit and while she tried to hold in her stomach, Kyla began her cryptic rant.

Yuuka lifted her head only when she was addressed. She was still panting heavily and eyed Kyla when the match was offered. "Hah... Do you think I'm stupid? Hah... Hah..." She managed. "Like hell... I'd face that... monster." Yuuka was a manipulative, cowardly opportunist but she still had some pride. However, she wasn't dumb. There was no way that she could even hope to take on Miaden unless she got to bring a chainsaw to the fight. And even then, Yuuka didn't like her chances.

Kyla chuckled and shook her head in distaste at Yuuka. "Tut tut, I expected more from you Miss Yuuka. You are, after all the leader of this fine..." she trailed off somewhat as she glanced back and forth between the unconscious bodies of Succubus and Natsuki. "...team. Are you not? Cetainly you wouldn't let the two of them down!? How ever will they react when they awake to find that not only did you toss them to the wolves, but you also refused to take vengeance for them, refused to fight for them!? What kind of leader is that? Certainly not the kind who can maintain loyalty for very long. Earlier you claimed that Eclipse was now a team of the past, but maybe... maybe it's Team Corona who we have now witnessed the demise of. What do you think, Maiden?"

She looked to her client expectantly, and quite a few people in the crowd seemed interested in hearing the colossal woman speak as well. However Iron Maiden gave no answer, or even looked Kyla's way. Whatever Dr. Fairchild and Yuuka were discussing ascended a bit too far beyond Maiden's understanding, or interest for that matter. "...Oh. Oh yes, I see! I think I know exactly what's on your mind Maiden, and I for one approve." mused Kyla, and she turned her attention back on Yuuka. "After all, Team Corona is just that. A team! And a team should always fight together. ...Miss Yuuka what say you to a handicap match? You and your ever-so-fearsome little team against my Iron Maiden! Three on one."

Yuuka listened to what the Doctor had to say. She held a smoldering look of contempt for Kyla's words on her face. At the moment she wasn't afraid of Iron Maiden and all her petty bitterness returned. Besides, if Kyla did sick her pup on Yuuka, she'd be a hop over the barrier away from being out of harms way.

Yuuka listened to Kyla's words and her gaze shifted between the doctor, the maiden and her fallen cronies. Natsuki and Succubus worked for her. Their loyalties were no easier broken than the Maiden's were to the doctors. Yuuka didn't know HOW Kyla came to have possession of such a monster, but Yuuka was able to control Natsuki and Succubus by being the highest bidder and lavishing them with fame they would never know otherwise. It was a shame that Iron Maiden seemed too stupid to understand what money meant. Though she smirked at the idea of driving up a truckload of coins and seeing how she reacted to all the pretty round shiny things.

Yuuka was ready to blow Kyla's offer off and leave. She wasn't going to be goaded into any more reckless behavior by the nut job. Then she'd call her daddy and try and make this woman's life a living nightmare. She'd show her exactly who had the more powerful ally!

But then, Kyla offered a different option. A handicap match? Yuuka's first instinct was to also tell Kyla to go take a walk but she paused when her mouth opened. She looked past the two women and at her defeated cronies. They had fallen so easily. But certainly it was because Kyla had the element of surprise on her side? Now Yuuka knew all about this monster. They could plan and strategize. They could get back at the doctor and humiliate her by conquering this behemoth of a woman that she had following her around. With that foe vanquished, the possibilities would be limitless for Team Corona. Certainly they would already be in a better position than Eclipse ever was. They'd probably have the tag team titles given to them, stripped away from those useless bunnies.

Yuuka's eyes began to light up devilishly. Suddenly a hopeless situation had turned into a cinch opportunity. Yuuka stood up straight, beamed proudly and puffed out her modest chest. "Ha! Fine. If you want your precious doggie to get put down so badly, we'll do you the favor. Three on one? I think that freak you tug around with you might actually be the smarter of the two!"

Yuuka laughed and then struck a pose. "You heard it here! Watch ME, Yuuka-chan, and Team Corona slay this ugly beast! And don't forget, buy my new single! Yeaaaah!"

Yuuka was feeling bolstered. She twirled on her heels and bent over enough to give her cute butt a smack as she wiggled it at the doctor. She turned her head, stuck out her tongue and pulled down her eyelid. Then, after she was finished with her rude gesture, she strutted up the ramp like she had already won her match. She had completely forgotten that her two cronies were still passed out in the ring. Well, even if she had remembered, she certainly wasn't going BACK for them!

Kyla sighed and impatiently twirled the microphone in her hand as she leaned forward against the ropes, waiting for Yuuka to accept or deny her challenge. Despite the distance between them, Kyla could practically see the gears turning in Yuuka's head, and amused herself by pondering what the conceited young woman could be thinking. Kyla had a fairly good guess what Yuuka's answer was going to be, but nothing was certain until she opened that big mouth of hers and actually answered the challenge.

Once Yuuka finally accepted, Kyla grinned triumphantly to herself. "That's a good girl." she uttered quietly. Then as Yuuka proceeded to bluster and insult the good doctor and her beast, Kyla made a surprised "Oh" expression with her mouth, and with a conniving smirk strode over to the center of the ring to whisper into Maiden's ear. "Do you hear that? She just called you an ugly beast. It's just as I told you A stuck-up, cute-faced little bimbo like that has nothing but contempt for you. She thinks you're a hideous freak! She plans to beat you down and rip that mask off your face, in front of the whole world Maiden!" As Kyla planted the seeds of rage in Maiden's head, the deadly she-beast began to seethe and cast her sights on the Yuuka, who was now retreating up the ramp. "Will you let her get away with that!? What will you do about it!?"

Iron Maiden suddenly pushed Kyla aside and made a beeline for the ropes, acting as if she was about to take chase after Yuuka. Kyla howover wasted no time in going after the hulking woman, grabbing her arm with both of hers to try and pull her back. "No Maiden, no!! Save it for the match! You'll have your chance at her!" she urgently assured her. "You'll get all three of them, in this very ring, very soon now! I promise. I promise."

Iron Maiden, who already had one leg outside the rope, seemed to be reluctantly calming down now. Kyla smiled to herself, though it was less a smile of relief, and more the smile of someone who was pleased to see all the pieces of her plan falling into order. She let go of Maiden and backed off to the center of the ring, bringing the microphone up to her face. "Life really isn't fair, ladies and gentleman. But as I said before... she smiled harshly at the crowd. "We're here to help."

Kyla methodically set the microphone down between the broken bodies of Yuuka's cronies, as as Iron Maiden's music began to play. She went over to her she-beast and guided her outside the ring, managing to keep her calm just long enough to restrain her with the chains once more, and lock them back into the place. Kyla then lead Maiden back up the ramp where the two of them exited the arena, with Kyla stopping to take one last look at the crowd before smirking to herself and disappearing through the curtains.
