Training in a forest cave

He finally says " I rather live in the now instead of the past, but I figure others still hold the grudges of the past still strong." " I was living some distance away from your village near the river there was plenty I can gather without making the animals starve." I don't know what I can do to prove to you that I don't mean any hard to the village."

Cedric put his hands on Xerxan's shoulders as if he was his own son. "Come with me and we can discuss what you know. Perhaps we as a village can help you, your family, and others who may be on your side." Cedric led Xerxan to a separate room with Arasinya and Cyra following.

He follows saying " as far as it seems I am better off as far away from my family as possible they only desire me to fight then auction me off to attract possible new members to increase the houses power." " Arasinya found me when she was out traveling the forest right when one of those really nasty storms blanket the forest forcing everything to find cover we both chose the same cave."

Cedric would listen and then say, "It was fortunate that you were found by Arasinya and that you were brought here. We will do what we can to help you now. And like Arasinya usually insists at our council, people are capable of change." He opened the door to his spare room where there sat a large table and several chairs.

" I don't think it was for the best look at all the trouble I caused by coming to the village" as he hangs his head down.

"Don't fret, dear boy. Not all of us are used to having newcomers enter our home, especially drows." He offered a seat to Xerxan so he can sit down. "But for a diplomat such as myself, I must do my best to maintain peace within each race and blood."

The guard captain knocks on the Cedric's door to check on him and to tell him that he has a plan to get the drow to reveal themselves to be captured. Xerxan says to him "I know I was bound to be found out sooner or later by someone I am glad it was Arasinya who found me first" as he sits down across from Cedric.

Cedric said to the head guard, "Do not overwork yourself, soldier. I assure you that the drow may not bring any harm." Once the head guard left, he said to Xerxan, "Indeed, Arasinya was always one to discover new things and new people in her travels. Who knew it could be a drow?"

The guard says " at least let me leave a guard here otherwise my superiors will have my hide if I leave you alone with a possible threat even though you don't think he is." Xerxan gulps when he hears the words of the captain thinking he is still a major threat to the diplomats life.

"Am I not also a superior?" asked Cedric in defense to Xerxan. "I can have your hide should this little argument of our guest prolong any further."
