Training in a forest cave

"I would say after you check in with your village and family so no one is worried about you being missing too long that a search party is sent out looking for you." " You can use the cover of going camping in the woods as your excuse to return here to spar some more." He stands up and gathers out of his things a makeshift fishing pole as he hopes to catch some fish before the storm starts.

Arasinya listened and nodded her head in understanding. "Alright, I'll do that. I'll return in a few hours." Saying this, she would get her coat on and headed out to the cold weather to do what she has said.

Xerxan nods to her then heads to the river to attempt to catch some fish for diner for them for later when she returns. He spends a few hours catching 6 fish before the rain begins to fall forcing him to retreat back to the cave so he can begin preparing the fish so he can cook them over the fire so when she returns knowing she will be pretty cold from the rain. He then sets up a second tarp so she has a place to change out of her wet cloths along with changing to her night cloths so she can rest comfortably later on.

Once Arasinya gave word to her family and her friends that she wanted to have some outdoor experience as part of her fighting training, she headed back to Xerxan quickly as the rain started to fall once more. With a knapsack in hand, she would hurry to the cave and try to get some heat. It was then she started to sniff the air. "Is that fish?"

He has the fish nearly when you finally return to the cave pretty soaked from the rain falling outside. He points and says " that tarp over there you can change out of your wet clothes into a dry set the fish and roasted mushrooms is nearly done." He also says "choose a spot to set your bedroll at for when you need to rest after a day of training." He then stands and sets the tarp back up to shield them from the cold air from the storm that is once again raging outside the cave they are in.

"Alright, thank you," said Arasinya as she got to the tarp that separates her side from Xerxan's. She would immediately change out of her wet clothes and into her dry ones that were in her bag. After at least 5 minutes, she came out with a towel to try her hair.

Arasinya sniffed again and said, "Mm, I do love mushrooms."

He finishes cooking the fish and places a couple fish on each plate and a half the cooked mushrooms passing one to her along with a waterskin so she has something to drink. He says " I managed to catch the fish in the nearby river while the mushrooms grow wild all over the area." He finishes with " we can start a workout in the morning being it is pretty late out already along with the long trip you needed to take to get your things from home and return."

"I see." said Arasinya in amazement that Xerxan can cook so well. She would pray for the food and for safety before eating and she tasted pure perfection. "Mmm..." she would moan as she enjoyed every bite of her dish and drank some water once in a while. "Okay, Xerxan, I am with you on that. I am willing to show you more of my technique."

He says " you are going to need to make sure you strengthen you stomach because most opponents may try and punish your stomach to make it hard for you to catch your breath to begin counter attacking." He then starts eating his share of the meal happy she is enjoying the food being his skill in cooking is limited to fish mushrooms and the stew she had before.

Taking another bite and gulping it down heartily, Arasinya said, "Got it. Was that how you were trained back then?" She was so interested to hear about Xerxan's training, that maybe she can learn a little more from him.
