Training in a forest cave

"I'm betting you have quite a few warrior family members and their skills managed to be passed down to you instead of others who probably think you don't deserve them." He gets back into stance reminding her he promised not to go on full attack only defending himself while countering her moves at the most random times to surprise her.

Arasinya couldn't help but blush when Xerxan commented she had a few skilled warriors in her family who passed down their talents to her. "Oh...thank you, Xerxan." She would try to go for two kicks and three punches as she tried to think back on the time she wanted to be a warrior. "To be honest...I uhh...I didn't exactly want to fight yet. Back then, I was just doing what women normally do. But when I witnessed a burglar breaking into our home and trying to take my Mother away for his own perverted reasons, I had to go in and try to protect her. I did a good job on him though I got some bruises myself."

He weaves about blocking a few kicks and taking a few punches of hers that he couldn't block stepping backwards a little. He will say " The main thing to learn is how to fluidly shift between defense and attack like I been doing when I counter attacked you." He will also say " that is good that you were able to take down the intruder who was trying to take your mother away from your home.

Arasinya got back in position and nodded. "Got it. I'll keep that in mind." She would pull her arm back for a punch, but she was actually going to use the other front arm to back slap Xerxan in the face. "Thanks. After that, Mother tended to my bruises and I wasn't one to cry so easily, though I let a few tears drop. Then when Father got home, I asked if he can train me to fight as well as him. At first, both he and Mother were concerned because women rarely are seen fighting in battle and didnt want me to get hurt because...you know."

* He will try and dodge her slap being how close they are a punch may not be that effective. If it works or not he will say to her " they probably want you to find a husband so they can spoil a grandchild which probably will be a strong warrior who respects your own strength."

After Xerxan dodged her slap, Arasinya would then try to use her pulled back arm to launch a spear aiming for her opponent's stomach. If this worked, he may double over and she can pound his back to make him fall. "Probably, I mean after all, they do want our legacy to continue through the years. But I insisted that I should be able to protect my future children from harm in order for that to happen. So eventually, both Father and Mother agreed and from there, I have dedicated myself to be wise in my decisions for the future and defend myself and my family from any harm.

Xerxan would duck under the slap then try and tackle you to the ground where he will try and straddle your waist and pin your wrists down. if he is too slow he will gasp a bit leaning forward a little as your spear hit his abs . He will say either way " I know you will find a husband who will really see your strength as a way to merge your strengths together to have powerful children while a wizard may look for you to have strong and smart children with you."

"GUH!!" cried out Arasinya when she was tackled to the ground. She tried to punch at his face really hard before he grabs at her wrists. Hopefully, it would be enough to get him off. "Thanks, Xerxan, but for me, I don't want to think about getting a husband or have children yet. I still have a long way ahead of me until the right man comes along."

He would wince as your punch does nail him good knocking him backwards as right as it happens a distant crack of thunder sounds in the distance. He rubs his face and says " sounds like we better end it for now or you will be traped here till the storm abates." He adds " You may be able to make it back to your village before the storm envelopes this area once again."

Arasinya would be relieved when she managed to get Xerxan off of her. She was then surprised to hear that they need to end now in regards to the storm abating. "Now? Alright then, but when do we continue?" She would slowly get up and dust herself from the dirt on the ground.
