Going Out Drinking!

"So!" Azami said once the girls already had their first round. "We also use this chance to get to know each other better... Nikolette-san? How far have you done it with Yuu-chan?" she asked straightly without a bat of an eyelash.

"W-wha... what kind of question is that..." Mayu protested. "Like I said we only met each other a few times!" said the flustered girl.

"It's not a matter of quantity, Yuu-chan... quality times could have happened between those short amount of times... Like, when you two kissed and groped each other during your match..." Azami said with a mischievous smile.

Mayu immediately froze and blushed as she was reminded of what happened during her match with the mechanic. She looked aside to avoid making any eye contact with Nikolette, or Azami. Meanwhile, the blue haired girl would wait for Nikolette's answer before she initiated the second round by raising her glass. Once the girl tossed and drank theirs, she would then look at the mechanic.

"Your turn, Nikolette-san... ask a person here anything you want to know..." she would say.

Nikolette was feeling good and nodded eagerly at Azami's words. She had definitely wanted to get to know Mayu much better and she thought that this would be perfect. But then, what came out of Azami's mouth, made Nikolette blush as well. Se couldn't even speak as she felt the words choke up in her throat. She swallowed hard, loud and turned her head from Azami. It seemed like Mayu was also at a loss for words.

Nikolette eagerly took the next round and shot it back. It burned less and tasted better. She let out a sigh and looked at Azami. She swallowed again. She'd knuckle down and answer this question!

"That match... it was the most intimate we've gotten!" She said, maybe a little too loud and with a lot of disappointment in her tone. "Y'all heard Mayu! She ain't lookin ta fool 'round!" Nikolette looked at Mayu and grinned. "It's ok, though... T-That kiss was... enough to hold me over until yer ready!" She said proudly.

Azami nodded lightly and chuckled at Nikolette's response. Mayu was still looking away even after she took the second shot, blushing, or starting to get drunk is a matter of perspective. She was embarrassed, no doubt about it. Even if she had been teased numerous times by her cousin, it's still flustering when she did it. What's worse, the blue haired girl actually brought up the accident during the match after Nikolette had confessed to her! She's kind of glad that the mechanic didn't seem to take it too personally.

"Ah... yeah..." the short haired girl let out softly.

"I see..." said Azami with a smile. "But you haven't ask your question, Nikolette-san..."

Nikolette furrowed her brow as she looked at Azami. She wasn't sure what she should ask and turned to Mayu. She wanted to keep it outside the realm of private things but decided, probably thanks tot he alcohol, that she had an idea.

'Alright..." She said and nodded. 'W-Why is Mayu so reluctant to speak about herself?" She asked Azami. "Anytiem I've pressed for her reasons for fighting, or... anythin, she's backed away. Why? Is there somethin that's too personal? I mean.. I guess it's alright to have secrets! I don't wanna pry or anythin, but I can't wrap my head 'round it!"

Mayu's eyes blinked as she heard Nikolette's question and she slowly turned her head to face the girl, looking slightly nervous. Azami watched calmly as she filled in the cups for the third round, half expecting her cousin's reaction to the question.

"A-aah..." Mayu began to speak softly. "I... B-because t-there are things that should be left unsaid for the time being... I don't want other people to be troubled by my... uh, stuffs. Because they're personal...? S-sorry..."

The short haired girl wasn't sure if that's the best answer. It's not like telling Nikolette about her problems at this stage would help. It's all seems like a huge tangling mess, and if she said something, it might only make the other person become even more curious.

"Alright, time for the third round..." Azami said to help her cousin as she raised her cup again. "It's your turn after this, Yuu-chan."

Mayu nodded and after she drank her sake, she's starting to feel lighter already. She exhaled and rolled her eyes as she tried to think of a question before finally looking at Nikolette.

"Ah... Nikol-san..." she began to speak and paused almost immediately. "Um, Y-you said you like me... but what is it that makes you like me...? H-how do you see me as a person? the short haired girl asked with a deep blush.

Nikolette luistened to Mayu's answer and furrowed her brow. This was the opposite of getting to know someone! Knowing was sharing. Nikolette would just have to try and think of a different trick. She was smart, darnit! She needed to use her brain. But, the alcohol wasn't helping her.

She took the third drink and set it down with a hot sigh. She leaned forward with a dull smile on her face. She was definitely feeling light and breezy and good now.

She let herself lean forward and tugged on her tank top. She felt hot and didn't realize she flashed a bit of cleavage when she pulled at her shirt. She heard Mayu's question and leaned forward,, touching the rim of her shot glass. "M-Mayu..." he said, looking down. "I... I dunno..." She said turning her head shyly. "Yer... interestin." She nodded and smiled. "An cute an... There's just somethin about ya that I draws me to ya. I can't explain it and... that makes the desire even greater."

Nikolette turned and looked at Mayu. "I'm the sort of person that can figure out anythin. It's just how it is. But, I can't figure this out and I wanna. I wanna know why my heart beats fast when I see ya or why I wanna make ya laugh just so I can hear that cute giggle."

Mayu blushed and smiled lightly as she heard Nikolette's answer. It's kind of vague just like her answer earlier, but then again it's not like she understood feelings such as love...

"Ah I see..." she said, tilting her head to the side a bit.

The short haired girl felt that there's something warm inside her that's clearly not an effect of the alcohol. Nikolette's words was kind of touching, but she's not sure yet about her own feeling towards the girl. Meanwhile, Azami was preparing for the fourth round as she filled the cups again. It's about halfway to the contest and they're barely going anywhere with this getting to know each other stuffs. It seemed like she had to be the one to give a few hints here and there. Once the girls drank their fourth cup, the blue haired girl exhaled and turned at her cousin.

"So, Yuu-chan... I forgot to ask the other day I met you... How's uncle and auntie?" she asked.

Mayu had an expression of genuine discomfort as she heard the question. It was just a simple, everyday courtesy thing between normal people. For her it's something that was completely different. What made her anxious to answer it was because there was Nikolette with them. She glanced at the mechanic before looking back at her cousin and gulped. Hopefully Nikolette was drunk enough not to notice her lie.

"A-ah... they're fine, of course..." she said rather nervously. [size=85:1y7p2jpm]"They should be..." she muttered to herself.

Azami smiled, but she frowned inside. So they haven't make up with each other yet, she thought. It's not like she's particularly happy asking about it to Mayu, but hopefully Nikolette would pick something from that. Letting out a small sigh, Azami raised up her cup again to signal the girls for the fifth round and glanced at Nikolette. It's the girl turn to ask question once they drank their sake.

Nikolette shook her head as she downed her fourth cup of Sake. Mayu's response had made her heart sink. Was there really no getting through to Mayu? That made the next drink go down even easier.

But then she heard Azami's question and raised an eyebrow at Mayu who seemed to shrug things off. "Aunt and Uncle?" She asked. It was something simple, but maybe enough to pry a little bit. "Is that who you live with, Mayu?" She asked. It would be strange to presume, but Nikolette wasn't exactly int he sort of shape to keep her manners in check. It seemed peculiar though. And even more so for Azami to ask right now.

Nikolette looked down at the fifth shot. She was starting to feel it now but she wasn't about to quite. Azami, at least, looked like she was cruising along pretty well.

"Hey..." Nikolette said. If she wanted to get Mayu to open up, maybe she should first. "I grew up in an orphanage cause my parents were killed when Iw as little. So, I dun even know who they were. It's no big deal, I guess. I mean.. it is but I wasn't even old enough to think about it. Can't even remember what they look like. But the orphanage was pretty decent to me an the ol mechanic in my town took me in so I guess that's kinda like a dad..." She didn't look up from her fifth drink as she spoke and when she finished she quickly threw it back and took a big gulp.

"No... she meant my parents..." Mayu explained as she heard Nikolette's words. "I live by myself now..."

By the fifth round Mayu felt like her body was starting to burn now. Her head was hot and light at the same time, but seeing her cousin seemed to be still fine, she decided to try hanging out a bit longer. Especially since Nikolette also seemed like she could still going. When she heard the mechanic told her story, she frowwned a little. However, since the girl didn't seem to be upset, Mayu quickly smiled again.

"Ah, I'm sorry to hear that..." she spoke softly. "But..." Mayu paused for a while before she continued. "I think... not having a parents or family is not an unfortunate thing... There are a lot of parents who care very little for their own kinds... thinking of them as if they're just a investment checkbook or something... Family's honor... family' name... that's... THAT'S ALL THEY CARE ABOUT!" she suddenly yelled as she slammed her cup to the table.

The alcohol finally did its job to open up Mayu, in a way that was quite unexpected even for Azami. She almost never seen her cousin being upset or even angry, though she was aware that everyone had their breaking point. Mayu's face darkened a bit as she looked down before she eventually realized what she's just said. She raised her head, looking slightly nervous as she looked at Nikolette.

"Aa... S-sorry... I... need to go to the bathroom..." the short haired girl said before she slipped out to where the restroom was.

Azami let out a sigh as she watched her cousin left the table. The bar was almost empty now so there's not many customer who noticed Mayu's little outburst since their table was located in the corner. She calmly poured the sake to prepare the sixth round before looking at Nikolette.

"Arara... Seems like we just stepped on the land mine," said Azami with a relatively calm expression. "Should we continue?"

Nikolette heard Mayu's words and her eyes widened. Not the part about having no parents. She was actually kind of right about that. It was the rest that got to her. But, not in a bad way.

When Mayu stood up, Nikolette's mouth opened but she didn't' speak. Azami filled the gap as Mayu stood up. Nikolette watched Mayu leave and stood up. "Not this time, dammit." She said as she pressed her hand against Azami's hair to use it to help herself up and keep from stumbling. "J-Just keep them drinks comin! I ain't gonna stop when I'm this close to a darn breakthrough with that gal!" She said and stumbled after Mayu.

She pushed open the bathroom door and looked around. "Mayu!" She called out. "O-Oi! Please don't... go off like that!" She said in a pleading tone."
