Going Out Drinking!

Mayu was listening to the [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUMSDZXXT-4:bysx8jcs]music[/url:bysx8jcs] from her MP3 player inside a train that's heading to the center of the city that evening. She needed the music to ease up her excited self for a bit at the moment. It's been several days after her match with Nikolette, and her body was just recovered from all the beatings she took during the the fight between her and the mechanic. The two had promised to meet up once they got better for a drink, and today was the day they're going to meet. The short haired girl wore a light green shirts with long sleeve and a purplish short skirt along with a pair of brown boots. She closed her eyes as the sound of music from her headphone flowing into her ears, until she heard the announcement of the station's name on the speakers.

She would get off the train along with some of the passengers, holding her bag's strap on her chest with one hand as she looked around the station. It felt like it's been quite a while since she last went out to the city. After the match Mayu had spend most of her days in the AFW dorm as she's recovering from her injuries, and it made her bored. Tapping her fingers on her bag as the music's tempo began to pick up, the short haired girl would walk to a pole near the station's exit where she would wait for Nikolette to come. She already texted the girl last night that they're going to meet in the station before heading to a bar. She could have gone together from the AFW complex, but Mayu had to go to her apartment first to dress up before, since she only took a few stuffs with her in her dorm room. As she leaned herself against the pole, Mayu's fingers continued to tap her bag lightly, getting faster alongside the music from her headphone. She took a glance on the clock hanging up the station's wall.

Looks like I'm a bit early.

Nikolette had insisted that she meet up with Mayu at the train station. She knew that she couldn't handle it if she had to just meet up with her at the AFW facility. As it was, she had spent most of the day out in town. She went shopping and got her hair trimmed a bit. She wanted it to be perfect and really she hadn't known why. As she stared into her mirror, holding up a dress, she sighed.

"Don't be an idiot, Nik! She just wants ta have a drink with ya. It ain't like a date or anythin. I mean. There's no way she thinks it is. We're just friends. Friends havin a drink. Friends that kissed..." Nikolette frowned. "On accident!" She shouted back at the mirror and threw down her dress.

After about an hour of fiddling around, she ended up just throwing on what she usually wore. However, she made sure to put on some make up as well. She still wanted to at least try. "Even if I'm not very good at actin like a girl." She muttered as she looked at herself.



She let out a sigh and headed out for the train station. As she sat on the train, she thought about what was going to happen. She really liked Mayu a lot but they hadn't been friends for very long. Maybe she was still reeling from her girlfriend leaving her? She didn't know. They had been separated for a while now. The other thing was, she really didn't drink. "Oi..." She siad and planted her hands in her face. "I hope I don't get all... stupid..." She muttered as her train came to a stop. She stood up and walked out, feeling the cool breeze against her exposed skin. She looked down at herself and frowned. She looked like she just got out of a factory. Why couldn't she have put on the dress? My underwear and bra are really nice though! she thoguht and then blushed deeply. "Not that she'll see them!" She muttered and shut her mouth as she looked around. She caught Mayu listening to some music near a pole and grinned. Wow! She looks great! I totally blew it! She thought as she waved to Mayu.

"Mayu!" She called out. "Hey! How are ya!?" She exclaimed with a bright smile as she looked at the girl. She blushed instantly. "Y-You look real good!" She said and turned her head. "I... ah... didn't realize ... I shoulda worn somethin... better..." She said and titled her head downward.

Mayu was tapping her finger to the piano's tune at the end of the music when she heard a familiar voice calling out to her. She turned out her head to see Nikolette approaching her and smiled sweetly. Taking of her headphone and put it around her neck, Mayu would hop shortly towards the girl with an excited look.

"Nikol-san!" she exclaimed. "I'm good! How about you?"

The short haired girl would shift from side to side, crossing her arms behind her as she was looking at Nikolette's outfit. Then she would look back at the girl, smiling brightly with a light blush on her cheeks. The mechanic's clothes might seem to be simple, but Mayu thought that it suits her well. To be honest, she couldn't really imagine Nikolette wearing a dress or anything feminine...

"I think that's good enough! It suits you~" she would say in a friendly manner to comfort her friend. "Well, shall we get going?" she added before turning around and look at Nikolette over her shoulder.

Nikolette blushed when she was being looked over by Mayu. Even though she wasn't in a fancy dress, she was definitely showing off a lot more cleavage than she was used to doing in public. That alone made her feel a little feminine. Not to mention the make up. Still, she sighed n relief at Mayu's words and nodded to her, following at her side as she was offered to continue on their journey. "Yeah! I'm really excited. "How are ya holdin up? All the superficial stuff from that match is gone but I still feel a little achy here and there. Sheesh. I can't believe how tough ya are!" Nikolette said as she grinned at Mayu. "I can't believe I didn't die when I fell from the briefcase."

Nikolette slapped Mayu on the back in a friendly manner. "Thanks for breakin ma fall, eh?" She said and then shook her head. "Nah, I'm jokin! But really.. I can't believe how tough ya are! How'd ya manage? I know I've always been pretty solidly built from my mechanic work but... ah... no offense, yer so skinny! Ya don't got as much meat on yer bones as me." Nikolette frowned at that. She ate good and worked like a horse and still she couldn't get her body as defined as she would like. Mayu was REALLY skinny, but she also had a great body. Nikolette was kind of jealous. Especially when she could be so skinny and still have such a nice ass. It was really unfair. But Nikolette pushed those thoughts aside. "So, where we headin? Can't say that I have been to any of the local bars. But.. if ya tell me the name of the place, I'll know right where it's at. Got this city's map pretty well memorized."

"Ah? I'm fine now... but I think I had to stay in bed for like three days! Or was it two..." Mayu answered in her cheerful self. "My back still hurts a bit, though... that ladder really bruised it good, eheheh..."

Mayu let out a short yelp as her back was slapped lightly by Nikolette. It stung a bit, but didn't really hurt or anything. Hearing the girl's further words about how though she was despite being so skinny, Mayu would grin at her. She got that a lot. There was no offense to be taken, after all girls usually like their bodies slim! Maybe not as slim as her, but it's not like Mayu was underweight.

"Well, I'm used to be thrown all around in my Judo training, and my family was quite strict, so I guess that's how..." the short haired girl would say, smiling, but looking away from Nikolette at she mentioned about her family. "Um, it's not too far from here. I think the name is South Wind..? I've been there a few times, but never really look at the name plate. Tee-hee," she would say as she looked back at Nikolette, scratching her head and grinned silly.

She remembered the place, though, and the slender girl would keep walking, making a few turns here and there until they reached a rather old looking building with a black door in it. It didn't really look like a bar from outside. On the door there's written the kanji of "South" and "Wind" next to each other. Under the bar's name there's a sign that said "Open".

"Here it is!" Mayu said excitedly. "Ah, so it's called South Wind after all! Hehe~"

She would then put her headphone into her bag, before pushing the door inwards and stepped in. The short haired girl held the door afterwards to let Nikolette follow her in. When the girl came in, she would find that there was a bar behind the door indeed. It didn't seem like there were many customers at this time, though. The bar itself looked normal, a bit small and old fashioned perhaps, but still fitting for middle class people to come in.

Nikolette's eyes widened when Mayu yelped. She had declared her back had hurt at almost exactly the same time as when Nik had hit it. The mechanic frowned. But Mayu seemed to accept it with a smile and Nikolette was relieved as they continued onward.

Nikolette listened to Mayu speak about Judo training and was honestly surprised. The girl had really been a Judoka? Nikolette had read a few books and watched some film, but that's all she had done. Still, she had the images in her mind and trained it as well as she could Her body was, thankfully, compliant enough to mostly cooperate with her mind thanks to hot fit she was. Still, if Mayu reallyw as a Judo expert, she wondered why she hadn't done more with it in the match. Unless that was why she was working submissions so hard. Nikolette continued to think about and analyze the match. A submission style was great, accept that in a ladder match submissions weren't possible. That's why Nikolette had been so aggressive in other areas.

She snapped to attention when Mayu called the name of the bar. "Oh, yeah. I know that place." Nikolette stopped and chuckled. "I mean... I know where it is." She said as she rattled off the coordinates and address liek she had it memorized. She did.

"Never been there before though, so I am pretty excited!" Nikolette blushed. "Well, I don't really go out much anyway..." She said a little sheepishly as they made their way to the bar.

Nikolette entered and she looked around. She instantly focused on the architecture and scrutinized it. "Very... industrial..." She said with a wide grin. She liked it. She then looked at Mayu and blushed. "Oh... uh... should we sit at the bar or.. uh... something more..." Private? "Table... y...?"

She doesn't really go out much? Mayu thought to herself. Perhaps with her job as the AFW head mechanic the girl was kind of busy and all. Maybe she just didn't like to go out like a certain senpai Mayu knew in high school. However, when Nikolette got all flustered as she's asking about where they should sit, the short haired girl couldn't help but to giggle. Could it be that Nikolette was the type of people who got nervous in public?

"We can sit somewhere else where it's more quiet!" Mayu would say with a bright smile before she took Nikolette's hand and walked towards the bar counter.

She only wanted to make the girl feeling less nervous by holding her hand. Nikolette was a friend, so Mayu didn't see a big deal in doing that. The bartender at the counter noticed the two girls coming towards the counter and he smiled pleasantly. He looked like a young man in the end of his twenties with neat hairstyle.

"Welcome back, Hos... Mayu-chan," he greeted Mayu before glancing at Nikolette. "It's been a while. You're coming with a friend?"

"Kita-san!" Mayu exclaimed in excitement. "Yes this is my friend, Nikolette! Can you get us a seat in somewhere in the corner?"

"Nice to meet you, Nikolette-san," he said politely. "Sure, there's not much customer as you see," he said before pointing an empty seat in the corner not too far from the bar. "You can sit there. Would you like to order something first?"

"Um, I'll have a Kirin first!" Mayu said. "What about you Nikol-san? You can order any drink, beers, wines, cocktails, anything! There's non alcohols too."

Nikolette flushed when Mayu suggested they could go somewhere private. But when Mayu grabbed her hand, Nikolette turned her head a bit to hide her completely red face as Mayu's hands touched her own. She let Mayu tug her along to the table, gripping the girl's hand tighter than she probably should have.

Nikolette was surprised when the bartender greeted them so friendly. It seemed like Mayu was... or had been... a regular here. That made Nikolette feel al ittle better and she greeted the bartender, Kita-san, with a friendly smile. "Oi! Nice ta meet ya too!" She said and nodded her head.

Nikolette slid into the seat and when it was time to order drinks, Nikolette's eyes widened for a moment. "O-Oh... uhh..." She thought about what she should drink and remembered when her "father" liked to have wine after a long days work. She opened her mouth but frowned. Mayu seemed to be ordering something much heartier and Nikolette didn't want to seem too girly with a wine order. Her mouth opened and she decided against the wine. She needed something to drink, but she also felt like she wanted somethign casual.

"White Russian, please."

The words slipped out of her mouth and she looked qquickly to Mayu. Was that ok? What would Mayu think? Really, Nikolette didn't know. But coffee and alcohol did seem to fit what she was looking for.

"One Kirin and one White Russian it is," said the bartender with a pleasant smile.

Mayu's eyes blinked a bit at Nikolette's order. A cocktail? It seemed like the mechanic was a fancy drinker herself. She smiled sweetly and tug Nikolette's hand with hers to lead the girl to their seat. Once she sat down on the chair, Mayu would place her elbows on the table, interlocking her fingers and rested her chin on top of her hands. She looked at Nikolette with a rather curious look.

"You like to drink, Nikol-san?" she asked, smiling.

This was a chance to have some little chat and get to know each other better, or so she thought. Other than fighting, there might be a few other things they're sharing interest in. Mayu wasn't really a heavy drinker herself, although she never refused an offer in going out drinking. It just that she barely hang out with anyone anymore lately, and kinda felt a little lonely herself. The South Wind was always felt like a second home for her. She knew the place during her time before she joined AFW, and had been a regular for about half a year now.

Nikolette watched as Mayu pulled her tot he booth. She blushed the whole way, feelign Mayu's gentle grip in her own. SHe really liked the contact. She slipped into the booth and leaned in, resting her chest on her arms as she looked at Mayu. She blushed again and shook her head. "N-No! Not at all, really!" She exclaimed. "I just.. well.. We're ata abr so.. I figured, when in Rome, right?" She chuckled nervously. "But coffee felt more... relaxin? Like, two friends just havin a chat. So, I just thought of the first thing that came to my mind that had alcohol and coffee in it! I've never even had a White Russian before!" Nikolette said lowering her head a bit.

Nikolette then looked up and smiled at Mayu. "So, ya know this place? Bet you and yer friends come out here all the time then/" Nikolette bit her lip. Mayu was probably really popular. Nikolette probably didn't stand a chance. A chance of what though?
