[Pendant Match] Standard: Adrian Kytes vs Natasha Loclear

Adrian buried her face on the mat as Natasha continued to ramp up the pressure, the entire arena cheering at her potential submission and the referee hunched over, waiting for her to just give up and for the heel who had avoided her commupence for so long to finally get it here at the hands of the very talented and beautiful Natasha. "I'm... fine!" She hissed out through clenched teeth, trying to inch closer to the ropes again. "Almost...*gasp* there!" she called out, trying and failing to prevent the pain from showing in her voice.

The cosplayer's vision was starting to fade at the corners, what once was colour was now black and white as she crawled. MEmbers of the crowd gasped, they thought it was going to happen again, that Adrian was about to escape what should have been certain defeat again, the cosplayer stretched out her hand, the ropes barely inches away, she could just grab them. But as her arm stretched out the cosplayer fell. Her other arm gave way as she fell flat on the mat, her outstretched fingertips just brushing the bottom rope. Something had to give, and it looked like the cosplayer's body had broken before her mind and spirit. Adrian Kytes was out cold

Natasha twisted the cosplayer's ankle as hard as she dared to fearing it might snap if she applied any more pressure to it, pulling back on the leg to really increase the pain Adrian had to be enduring even if she was doing a good job hiding it from her. Listening to the crowd she got the feeling they were less cheering for her to win and more in hopes that Adrian was about to lose, something she had experienced before in her match with Brittany but Adrian didn't seem to have earned such a response from the crowd, puzzling Natasha as she pushed their cheering from her mind and focused on making the girl tap out.

"I'm not letting you go." Natasha let out just as Adrian was nearing the ropes, jerking her body from side to side giving this hold everything she had in the hope that the cosplayer wouldn't last long enough to force a break. Her spirits fell as the girl's hand came within an inch of the ropes, looking as if all she had to do was drop her hand and she would be free, but to her amazement Adrian went limp in her hold a single moment before that could happen. Natasha blinked rapidly, stunned at what had just happened, but still suspicious she slowly unwound her legs thinking Adrian would suddenly come to life but when she remained down the ref came over and checked. A moment later the ref helped Natasha up to her feet and raised her arm in victory, her music starting to play while she stood there not believing any of it.

Adrian didn't move at all until celebrations were fully underway, with Natasha who'd only been in the company a short while managing to have done what no-one else had. Beat Adrian Kytes one on one . The cosplayer stirred slightly, her fingers on the very edge of the mats, a purple pool of drool where here face was her left leg just outright refusing to move at all: just being awake was agony to her "W-what happened?" She asked, trying not to think that the one thing she feared had happened. "I-I didn't tap..."

Natasha stood there basking in the wild cheering from the crowd after her hard fought victory over Adrian, chants of "the streak is broken" reaching her ears and at first she didn't understand what they meant. When she caught sight of a sign talking about Adrian being undefeated it dawned on her why Adrian had fought so hard all match against her, turning around to look at the girl who was only now waking up. Hearing her talking aloud Natasha realized Adrian had truly been out cold, in the end her body had been the one to give out and not her will.

Walking over Natasha would crouch down and reach out her right hand to Adrian in an offer of helping her get up, knowing her leg would make it doing it on her own difficult. "You passed out Adrian, the referee called the match with me as the winner. You fought harder than anyone I've ever seen Adrian, it was a good match."

Adrian pushed herself back up to her elbows, her entire world spinning around in her head as she leaned over the bottom rope. Her throat was saw, her leg was for all intents and purposes dead and the cosplayer was trying her hardest not to hurl before Natasha came over, trying to explain what happened "no...NO!"

"Restart the match!" Adrian demanded, pulling herself up and ignoring the offered hand "I wasn't pinned! I didn't tap! RESTART IT!" The cosplayer yelled at the referee despite being in no condition to actually try wrestling Natasha again after how easily she got her leg trapped last time, she just didn't want to admit to herself that the one thing keeping her in the AFW, her unbeaten streak, had faded away. She had nothing now.

Natasha quickly pulled back her hand once Adrian began to scream, looking on as the woman dragged herself onto her feet using the ropes instead of just accepting her help. She wasn't really sure what to say to the girl or if she should even say anything, despite all the big talk from Adrian Natasha felt some sympathy for her, it hadn't been too long ago her own undefeated streak had come to an end and she had certainly not taken that too well at the time.

"The match is over Adrian, you passed out before grabbing the rope, it was a good match, you should be proud." Natasha said trying to calm the cosplayer down, rubbing the back of her neck as it still hurt from the earlier neck breaker, though also to show Adrian she had dealt some serious damage to her during the match. "I'd be happy to have another match with you, but not now, neither of us is in any shape to keep going."

"SHUT UP!" Adrian just yelled at Natasha, trying her best to block what she was saying from her mind, she must have gotten to the ropes, right? All she had to do was drop her hand which was under the bottom rope when she woke up! "This isn't fair... it can't happen... not this way..." the cosplayer rambled to herself, shaking her head as she tried to step through the ropes, shaking off any attempts from various staff for help to the infirmary. Even as she stumbled down the stairs into the steel railing, crowd jeering her on.


Limping back up the ramp, shaming as she did so... after holding out for so long, it was over. The only thing that was keeping her in AFW had just dissapeared right before her eyes at the hands of this... this... "AAAARGGH!"

Natasha could see it didn't really matter how nice she was now or what she said, Adrian was lost in her despair at losing to her and there was nothing she could do to change that. Even so she began to say something but decided against it as the cosplayer stepped through the ropes and down the steel steps, looking on with sympathy in her eyes as Adrian could barely walk under her own power yet she was refusing any help. It was matches like these that always made her sad, even though she had won it didn't truly feel that way after watching how down Adrian was from losing, she much preferred when she and her opponents could be friendly afterward.

The cheers of the crowd chanting her name brought Natasha back to her senses, a smile forming on her lips as she pushed Adrian from her mind for a second to wave to her fans. She could hear them yelling out "streak broken" over and over, wishing they wouldn't but as the ref handed her a microphone Natasha used it to quiet the crowd. She wasn't sure if this would work or if it was even the right thing to do, but Natasha figured if Adrian wouldn't respond to her attempts to be friendly then perhaps this might work instead. "Hey Adrian, it was fun becoming the first one to beat you, guess cheap tricks never work forever huh? If you ever have the courage to face me again I will be happy to add another loss to your record!"
