[Pendant Match] Standard: Adrian Kytes vs Natasha Loclear

Adrian shuffled to the ropes with her hands as soon as Natasha rolled backwards, having to use them to pull herself up as the creeping pain that she'd done her best to ignore started to set back in. Come on, you've taken worse than this and still won! she told herself as she rested on the ropes, shaking her leg slightly to get some feeling that wasn't intense pain back. And if that was all she got out of it, well she'd just have to put up with the pain. It was still on the right way round and nothing was broken: ergo in her mind she could still use it just as well as her other leg.

But the bigger problem was that Natasha was still on the attack and relativley fresh. She'd have to dig deep to get back into this, deep into her pockets to be specific, slipping a purple capsule as the ref looked at Natasha.

The fact that Adrian was relying on the ropes to pull herself up was good news to Natasha, it meant that while she had endured the pain up until now Adrian had indeed been affected by her submission hold. Adrian had seemed the type who would ignore their injuries and just charge in as usual, if that was the case then Adrian would be making it easier to continue targeting the same joint. While the ref was staring at Natasha's chest she noticed Adrian reaching down into her pocket before raising her hand up to her mouth, it almost looked like she had eaten something in mid match, but why would she do that?

Natasha would kick things off this time, deciding to switch up her tactics a bit and use a strike instead of a submission. Rushing forward Natasha would raise her right fist up and throw a swinging punch towards the side of Adrian's head, but she would pull back on the swing letting her fist pass right in front of the girl's face to serve as both a diversion and as a means to add spinning power to her body as her true attack was the swinging kick aimed to connect with the same knee she had attacked twice already.

Adrian was fairly steady on her feet when Natasha came charging back in for another attack, there was no doubt that the European girl had seen her limping up and knowing her strategy was probably going for her leg again. But a charge? Something was definitely up. Instead of rising to block the initial punch to the face which went wild, she used her grip on the top rope to pull herself horizontal on the middle one, and roll through to stand on the apron, meaning that the kick would be slightly short.

When Natasha turned to see what was wrong, the cosplayer would grab her hair and pull it so Natasha's neck would be over the top rope and then let herself fall to the floor, hanging the European girl on the top rope.

Natasha's first strike went wide as intended but unlike in her plan her kick did as well, Adrian slipping through the ropes to escape but more troubling was she was now off balance. Before she could recover the girl reached out and took two handfuls of Natasha's flowing blue hair, the weakness for most women in this league and it proved disastrous for her now as Natasha's neck was slammed down on top of the rope. Grunting from the sudden pain Natasha was then thrown backward by the force of the rope springing back up, throwing her onto her back as she clutched at her neck.

Adrian landed on her good leg with her good arm grabbing the bottom rope as she fell, it wasn't the most pleasant of landings but it was good enough for now, the cosplayer saw an opportunity to just take the victory here and just get out of this horrible situation. Maybe for once she wouldn't even need the mist to help her get the win. Sliding back in the ring she grabbed both of Natasha's legs and flipped over, trying to catch the submissionist with a jacknife roll up.

Natasha lightly rolled back and forth while rubbing her neck, an action done more out of reflex than anything else as there was little she could do to ease the pain but wait. Her breathing labored she remained mostly still until she felt Adrian grab her ankles, coming to life as she struggled against her as best she could but Adrian had her here as she flipped over her to get the french woman into a pinning situation. Squirming within the pin Natasha could hear the ref beginning to count, her struggles doubling as that hand came down to count for two. Glancing up she could see the woman's leg up above her head, the same one she had attacked earlier in the match, Natasha reaching up to take hold of it and to give it a hard twist as she tried to roll over out of the pin and into an ankle lock.

"ONE!" The referee counted as Adrian held firm, trying to ignore all the signs telling her that she shouldn't put pressure on her bad leg to do this Come on... just 2 more seconds... she told herself, sweat starting to drip down her face as the referee counted "TWO!" yess... yesss! she thought to herself before Natasha seemingly came back to life, grabbing her back leg and forcing her to spin out. A light purple spray coming from her mouth as she yelled "NO!" before crashing face first on the mat.

The cosplayer tried to scramble to her feet but Natasha was faster, grabbing her bad leg and pulling it into an ankle lock. "DAMMIT!" Adrian cried out, smashing her fist on the mat before trying to reach out for the ropes quickly.

"Not yet!" Natasha yelled out as she threw her shoulder up off the mat ending the ref's count just before the hand would have come down to signal the end of the match. Using what she could remember of her old akido lessons about join control she managed to throw Adrian off of her as well, never letting go of the woman's leg as she sought to put an end to her finding ways to catch Natasha off guard, wrapping both hands around the foot to place it in a firm ankle lock.

She could hear Adrian cursing as she locked in her hold but with those ropes so close Natasha had to think fast, moving her body so that she could wrap her legs around the captured leg of Adrian for another leg bar. In this hold she would continue applying pressure to the ankle even as she yanked back on the woman's leg, hoping Adrian would tap out before she was forced to hurt the woman.

Adrian tried to scramble on her hands and good leg but when Natasha fell back she collapsed back to the mat. "AAA-" she began to scream before she covered her own mouth, shaking her head as her leg was tortured again and refusing to give the french woman the pride in knowing just how badly this was hurting the cosplayer. "Its... nothing..." She grunted out, trying to press herself up to her elbows, eyes closed tightly in an attempt to stop herself from crying before she resumed trying to get to the ropes, a lot slower on her elbows but in her own mind: it was slowly but surely. She would get to the ropes, not if or maybe, she would.

Natasha was once more impressed by just how tough this cosplayer truly was as her double submission move should have made anyone tap already, but Adrian endured the pain and even played it down verbally. This had to be hurting the woman, there was simply no way it wasn't, Natasha could only hold on tight and hope the girl realized that soon and tapped out as she was pulling them ever closer to the ropes. For a moment she considered releasing the ankle so that she could push against the mat to keep them from the ropes, but she just upped the pressure on her ankle as she was going for the win right then.
