[Pendant Match] Standard: Adrian Kytes vs Natasha Loclear

Adrian was in big trouble, her leg was still hurting from the first knee bar and now her arm was starting to feel like it was gonna fall off if she didn't solve this soon and with absolutley no hope of a rope break, she'd have to think of a counter if she didn't want to lose another limb. She knew this hold wasn't unbeatable even if it was agonizingly painful, she'd tried to get a victory in an I Quit match with this exact same hold and she'd failed then. Although she repressed most of that match to the forgotten corners of her mind, she needed to remember just how Taylor escaped her armbar in order to escape Natasha's and fast.

Natasha had the cosplayer right where she wanted her at the moment, not caring about gaining a submission just yet as she sought to further weaken the woman's joints. Her usual strategy for a match involved wearing down her opponents by targeting their limbs to take away the aspect the held over her, whether it be strength or speed a good submission could level the playing field. Her legs were pressing down on the woman's chest to keep her down, but she could do more with them, sliding the one nearest Adrian's neck over just enough to press down on her throat.

Adrian tucked her chin in as she felt Natasha's leg try to go over and press down on her throat, she was already hurting from the submission holds, she didn't need to be going crazy and full on attempted murder mode when she was like this. But the threat of asphyxiation did help jog some unpleasant memories... and a very important one.

Pressing her feet down on the floor, despite the pain, she tried to twist her whole body around, using her legs to get the turn and with that her caught arm could flip over too, negating the pressure of the armbar.

Natasha felt her leg blocked from getting at the woman's neck but she pressed it down right beneath the neck instead, keeping the pressure up on the hold if she couldn't also try to choke her out. She saw the legs of Adrian bending at the knee to plant the cosplayer's feet flat on the floor, guessing she really only had one way to push in this hold if she didn't want to make it a whole lot wore. Lifting the leg closest to the girl's neck up for a moment Natasha waited for Adrian to make her move before slamming it hard down her chest while pushing just as hard with the other one, looking to overpower Adrian and keep her stuck in the arm bar, otherwise if Adrian managed to roll over she would have to break the hold.

While it looked like Adrian was trying to power out, she actually was just getting some grip to start turning her body, and Natasha's slam of her leg just above her chest, while painful, was in the wrong position to stop Adrian's escape attempt, earning a grunt from the cosplayer but also a small sigh as she managed to twist her arm back the right way in Natasha's grasp. She could keep pulling but she couldn't do any more damage to her elbow like this.

Natasha would just have to be satisfied with the damage she had already done to the arm as Adrian found a way to escape it, pressing her lips tightly together she released the cosplayer from the hold with one last downward kick of her legs, pushing off of Adrian before releasing the arm as she rolled backward onto her knees. Moving quickly to her feet Natasha remained weary of Adrian as the woman had a reputation for doing whatever she needed to in order to win, needing to get her back in the ring Natasha cautiously moved forward intending to pull her up and throw her back into the ring.

"Ha...ah!" Adrian yelped as Natasha gave the cosplayer one last kick for good measure before she was unceremoniously thrown back into the ring. Down an arm and her leg still hurting a fair bit, she needed to find a way to turn it around but with the way Natasha had been fighting, that was going to be extremely difficult to do. The Russian had the cosplayer's number all match and didn't look to be stopping now. She needed a big move to keep her down but with a hurting arm, it was even harder to do and no guarentee that Miss Loclear wouldn't just slip out of it anyway.

Still, lying on her back, centre of the ring she could at least try something. When Natasha came over she'd try and reach up to tuck her arm over her head, rolling her into a surprise small package pin.

Natasha tossed the cosplayer back into the ring before Adrian could pull anything this time, sliding in under the bottom rope herself before getting onto her feet. Adrian had rolled quite a ways as she was now laying in the middle of the ring, Natasha finding it odd that the up until this point scrappy girl would just lay there like that but she couldn't pass up a chance to lock in another submission in the middle of the ring. Stepping closer she leaned down to take control of Adrian's arm when suddenly the woman shot up and wrapped her arm around Natasha's neck, the French woman crying out in shock as she was rolled into a pinning situation.

"One" was counted before she even realized what had happened to her, the "two" following a moment later, Natasha wouldn't let it get to three as she pushed up against Adrian to lift her shoulder off the mat.

Adrian held on to her pin for dear life for as long as she could but Natasha kicked out. Still, it was the moment she needed: laying down and waiting to spring that trap gave her a few more moments to recover, her knee was still bad but at this point it was manageable: allowing her to scramble to a crouching position quickly and charge back in, looking to grab the hopefully still-rising Natasha's head and flip over her body, hitting her with a modified spinning neckbreaker.

She still couldn't believe how close she had just come to being pinned after just one move from Adrian, it was good for her in a way as she wouldn't underestimate the cosplayer again. Still Natasha cursed herself under her breath for falling for that trick, pushing herself up onto her knees before Adrian came back on the attack with a swinging neck breaker. Her back arched quite a bit the moment she hit the mat, one hand shooting around to rub her spine while she groaned lightly, pain running through her entire body after her neck had been struck.
