"Bump topic" option

So apparently there's a bump topic option. (It's at the bottom of the page where no one would ever find it.) Bumping threads is a pet peeve of mine. However, I realize that we don't actually have a very standard forum here. There might be value to leaving a bump threads option in some forums rather than stripping it from all of them.

Please discuss the value of bumping topics in various forums here. I'll be sure to dismiss your opinions because they are terrible.

Rosters and Notice Board for sure.

It's nice to be able to update your char and then bump up their page when something big has affected their lives and a change is made to them or just nice little additions to the char. This saves from having to make multiple posts in our char page and we can just bump them up when we're making a cool new update for em.

I think everything else is fine. No need for Promo's and Matches to be bumped really imo. I really only bumped that one discussion thread as a joke but there is really no need for the Bump on discussion. Unless you wanna reply with "Bump" of course.

What I usually do Is that I delete the " Updated" Post I make if and when I update a character a second time and do that again, bumping them up as new and all they have is one reply " title="Razz" />
