Chasing Her Shadow (Rei Tomizawa vs Toshimi Minami)

(I'm assuming this is Kimura from mount?)

Rei grunted as she tried to sit up but, Toshimi quickly got ontop of her. Rei's body was slightly turned as Toshimi had grabbed a hold of her wrist while Toshimi's other hand gripped her own wrist trying to put pressure on the girl's shoulder and elbow joints. Rei had 2 initial reactions: The first was to straighten her arm , the second was to post her free hand onto the mat in an attempt to stop Toshimi from turning her body so that she'd lay on her side trying to stop her for getting enough room to really crank the Kimura.

"Ahhh....ahhhh!" Rei grit her teeth fighting for her life her feet slipped on the mat as she tried to rock up her hips to get Toshimi off of her. However, she was having rather bad luck in her attempts as she shut one eye bracing her self as pangs of pain ran through her body as she went into panic.

"I'm not losing! You hear me!" Rei roared as she shook her head shutting her eyes and shaking her head.

Toshimi tried to put on the kimura on quick and tightly on Rei, but this girl was way different that the silly cosplayer Toshimi had fought before. This Rei knew how to do when trapped in a hold instead of just whining and crying like the first time they met. Toshimi was unable to trap Rei how she liked and although she was doing some damage to the arm it was clear she was not going to get a submission like this. Anyway Toshimi kept the hold as it offered her a chance to recover some breathe while hurting Rei, something she hadn't had much chance to do so far in the match despite wanting it so much.

The Venus of Submission took a few deep breaths as she kept the hold on, pushing it every time she felt Rei's strength diminishing but not struggling much with her opponent as she didn't wanted to tire herself out in something that wasn't worth it. Although Toshimi was too enraged to notice it, her body was reacting to Rei's touch, she just loved to have girl's in submission holds and it was beyond her control even if she wanted to destroy Rei. As usual she said nothing to her opponent, she didn't wanted to waste breathe on idle words and simply moved on to her next attack when she felt ready, letting go the kimura to lunge forward, trying to push Rei all the way to roll the cosplayer on her belly and straddle the back. Toshimi's hands moved to Rei's chin, planning to pull it back and start hurting the girl's neck and back.

Rei growled as the two submission users were locked in a battle as they grinded it out. She was relieved that she was able to mitigate the effects of Toshimi's arm lock. She groaned as she was rolled over onto her stomach without much resistance as she was totally taken off guard by it. Toshimi grabbed her chin causing the purple haired girl to try and put her head down to the mat knowing what Toshimi was trying to do. Slowly, Rei's head was forced back and let out a cry out in pain as she felt the pressure begin to build on the back of her neck and her back.

"Ughh!" Rei grunted as she pummeled the ring floor with her legs unable to escape as she tried to pry her rival's fingers from her chin. The Cosplay fighter shut her eyes trying to endure it as she was in a bad position refusing to give in to Toshimi.

"I won't...give...up..." Rei managed to say slowly finding it exceedingly hard to speak.

Toshimi just took a deep breathe as answer to Rei's refusal to give up; she had taken a lot of punishment at the cosplayer's hands and that not only embarrassed and infuriated her but also made it very harder to keep on the holds. Toshimi knew the position was all to her advantage but Rei was determined and not weakened as much as the Venus of Submission would have liked. Much to Toshimi's annoyance she began to feel her fingers slipping from Rei's chin. This made Toshimi frown and pull of Rei's chin harder than ever, pressing her mound on the cosplayer's back, trying to bend the girl's spine and neck as much as possible. Toshimi always got angry, even if she hardly ever showed it, when someone escaped one of her submissions and it seemed that Rei was going to escape this one.

Thinking quickly, Toshimi decided that it was best to simply let Rei go, so she pulled the chin up harder and when Rei pulled back, Toshimi simply released Rei, wanting to make the cosplayer slam her cute face down on the canvas as a sort of punishment. The Venus of Submission then stood up only to raise a boot and aim a hard stomp to the small of Rei's back.

Rei grunted as her head hot the mat face first as Toshimi stomped on her back making her cry out in terrible pain. The girl hissed at her opponent as she was frustrated by her attacks. She was relieved to be not in some sort of submission as although she managed to mitigate some of the pain inflicted to her. Rei laid flat on her stomach panting as she could tell her opponent was frustrated. Lying their trying to draw some air into her lungs as beads of her own sweat dropped to the ring canvas, Rei would get on all fours in between Toshimi's legs and try to drive her elbow into the side of Toshimi's right knee cap.

"RahhhHHh!" Rei would let out a battle cry and grab Toshimi's leg trying to topple her over and slide her legs around Toshimi's so the raven girl's thigh was pinched around by Rei's legs as she attempted to catch her opponent in a kneebar.

Toshimi had to make a stop to breathe after delivering the first strike finding herself needing the air which immediately made her realize that she wasn't at the peak of her condition. Maybe she had taken a break too long. The true was that she hadn't trained as much as she expected this to be more of a warm up fight but now she was faced with an opponent fighting with all she got and demanding everything out of her. Toshimi saw Rei get on her fours and frowned; why that damn girl wouldn't stay down? She raised her foot to stomp Rei back again and down to the canvas but the cosplayer took the chance to jump at her leg hugging it and taking Toshimi down.

"ughhh!" Toshimi groaned as her butt hit the mats, Rei clung to her leg and quickly maneuvering it into another painful position. "N-no way!" Toshimi said in disbelief as she felt Rei's legs trapping her own and the pain in her knee began to increase. She quickly raised her other leg and started to stomp at Rei's legs, planting her arms on the canvas trying to pull herself away from her opponent.

Rei shut one eye as she put as much force into the submission as possible putting pressure on the joint as she held nothing back. "Ugh!" Rei grunted as Toshimi's heel slammed down on her legs weakening the hold of her legs as she grunted. The girl hammered away at her legs as they weakened their hold in the submission. Her opponent quickly slid away from her while on her back removing the pressure on her knee. The girl's legs unfurled letting Toshimi's legs go but, Rei still refused to release the girl's ankle. Rei would hug the girl's ankle close to her chest and tried to turn over persuading her to turn over or suffer her ankle being twisted.

"Rahhhh!!" The violet haired fighter cried not letting Toshimi go without a fight.

The Cosplay fighter would then attempt to put the girl into another single Boston crab and crank her leg back. The crowd was stunned at how the two were fighting, twisting each other's limbs and legs. the two were transitioning so quickly and were locked in a battle of wits, will and pride. It was clear that both were great submission users but, who would be victorious remained a mystery.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Toshimi screamed aloud in agony as Rei settled on top of her back and twisted her flexible leg back mercilessly. It was strange to hear Toshimi scream like that as she was a very quiet girl, one who barely bothered to say a word to her opponents and that usually endured silently when punished. Rei wasn't getting her good, not only hurting her but frustrating her to the point she couldn't kept her usually calm attitude. The crowd seemed to love hearing Toshimi scream and they roared they approval loudly, which only made Toshimi feel more enraged and humiliated.

Despite the pain and anger, Toshimi moved quickly, wanting nothing but to hurt Rei in turn, caring nothing about how much damage she suffered in turn. She twisted her body and reached with one hand for Rei's left ankle, pulling it hard as she pushed her body up, growling aloud at the horrible pain in her spine and back as she tried to make Rei fall and roll her so that they would end in their backs.

Rei blinked in surprise as she heard Toshimi scream that loud it certainly was something to hear. She could count the number of times she screamed like that with one of her hands. Toshimi was thee girl to beat in Wrestle angels, she was so highly regarded by everyone Rei included. Rei saw that in her, she was the girl to beat for her the ultimate challenge. Rei almost shed a tear as if she had just finished first in a marathon. Her dream was so close to being fulfilled, it was within her reach. Distracted by her daydream, she suddenly found herself rolled over by her foe. She grunted and tried to get to her feet as quick as possible.

"I can win.... I can win! I CAN WIN!" Rei said happily as she clambered onto her feet smiling ear to ear.

The purple haired girl got into a fighting stance eager to resume the match not only was her will to fight newly resurrected but, she had a target, a weak spot to work off of.

Toshimi rolled away from Rei and got close to the ropes, grabbing them she pulled herself up only to be stop mid way by a sharp pain on her lower back. "Aghhhh..." she groaned cursing Rei under her breathe and cursing herself for being so weak. Her back hurt so badly that just standing made her feel jolts of pain going up her back. She leaned on the ropes but the pressure of the metal wires against her back hurt anyway. Toshimi turned her eyes to face Rei, feeling a single tear starting to form in her left eye.

"That is it. You are dead." Toshimi said coldly but clearly furious as she looked at Rei frowning. She pushed herself off the ropes and slowly moved back into a wrestling stance. Each step she took hurt her back badly but she tried to ignore the pain to focus on her opponent. Rei had gone from being a nuisance to a threat and that made Toshimi furious. The Venus moved to the side, trampling the ring with her boots as she circled around Rei, trying to find and opening to attack, being very cautious now as she didn't wanted to fall into another trap or another submission hold; with her back hurting like this she feared she may not be able to survive it.
