Makie Akamatsu vs Yoko Honda (Complete)

Makie grunted as she hit the floor, the impact knocking some breath out of her lungs. Taking a deep breath, she looked up and saw Yoko stumbling back against the announcer's table. She almost smiled, seeing that she was now out of the woods and had the chance to turn this match around. Almost, that was. She still had a match to win.

Propping herself up on her hands and knees, Makie dove deep into her reserves of energy and sprang forwards, digging her heels into the floor to spring to her feet and rush at Yoko, lowering her body to spear her shoulder into the other girl's midsection.

Yoko grunted, trying to push herself all the way back up to her feet. Makie was tough, she had to give her credit for that. Her head was almost killing her now from those strikes, her vision a bit blurry in front of her.

By the time it cleared though, it was too late. Makie drove into her with the spear, causing her to jerk against the announcer's table. She dropped down to her ass in front of it, grabbing her midsection with both hands, a cry of pain passing her lips. That had hurt, and it looked like things were going to swing back into Makie's direction...

Makie breathed heavily as she pushed herself back upright. Opposite her, Yoko was sprawled against the table, clearly stunned both by the impact and by Makie's spear. Despite herself, Makie grinned wolfishly. She had managed to turn things around again.

"Up you go," she said to Yoko, staggering to her feet and grabbing her by the arm to pull her up as well. Once the two of them were standing again, Makie would spin, trying to whip Yoko head-first towards the corner post.

Yoko was pulled up to her feet, groaning lightly as Makie dragged her up. This wasn't going the way she had planned, but...it wasn't over yet. Far from it.

As Makie grabbed her arm then went for the whip, Yoko tried to dig her feet into the floor, trying to counter the whip and sent Makie hurtling towards the ring in her place.

Makie's eyes widened as she felt Yoko resist. A second later, she was spun around as Yoko reversed the whip, sending Makie hurtling head-first towards the corner post.

"Oh fu--" was all she managed to say before her head collided with the steel post. Her skull reverberated like a bell as everything went white, and her entire world was filled with a loud ringing noise as she collapsed onto her back, clutching her head and kicking in fitful agony.

Yoko sighed inwardly as she was able to reverse the whip and send Makie into the post instead. That could have been dangerous for her; no doubt she would have been done if she had struck it, and even now she had a feel Makie might be. As Kameyo watched on from the opposite side, she bent down, grabbing Makie's arm to pull her up to her feet, then try to toss her back under the ropes and into the ring, where she should follow in and shakily get up to her own feet.

Yoko would have no difficulty pulling Makie up. The Akamatsu girl could only groan slightly as she was lifted up off her feet and rolled into the ring. She lay on her back on the mat, only twitching slightly as her head shook back and forth slowly. Her collision with the post had hurt her badly, and she was at a serious disadvantage now.

Yoko herself wasn't in the best of condition, but there was a great deal of difference between hitting a metal post and...well, not hitting it. Seeing that Makie was just lying there, Yoko shakily stepped over, dropping onto her rival and going for a lazy pin over her, Kameyo watching from outside the ring with a fair bit of interest, to see if Makie was really out or not...

Makie moaned a little as she lay on the mat, still badly stunned. She made no reaction as Yoko lay across her for the pin. The ref quickly dropped down next to them and started the countdown.

"One! Two!"

Makie, however, must have heard the words, as her body suddenly twisted to the side, barely getting a shoulder up. Her eyes fluttered open as she breathed weakly. She was looking worse for wear, but for what it was worth, she was still fighting.

Yoko couldn't help but grin again as Makie kicked out. She still had fight in her? Fine with her, Yoko was enjoying this.

The blue clad fighter slid off of Makie, crawling around slowly towards her legs. Again she would grab on, starting to climb back to her feet with it in her grasp, then, she would try to flip Makie over onto her belly with the leg, intending to bend it backwards and into the single legged crab hold.
