Yukari is very greedy, and will do a lot of things for money, and money only. She knows better than to deal in favours and seems to need cash more than anything. Used bills, in briefcases are prefered payment. Apart from that she likes to tease people and mess with their heads, even those she's working for. She would not make checks with her mouth that her skills couldn't cash.

For as long as she could remember Yukari had been training. Where exactly she was never sure. The dojo's location was secret even to the students: should any of the ninjas be needed elsewhere there were certain points where they could stand, willingly blank out the world and be transported to the location of the target. It was a hard life and not a very fufilling one. While many Otaku dream about the way of the ninja at least in the Shadow Tigress' opinion it was very over-rated. Harsh instructors, clients paying millions with the actual shinobi themselves lucky to see 1 yen from any job. Fed only the bare minimum there was an orginized revolt at the dojo. The students rebelled from the idea of one lone boy, while the instructors were capable of demolishing ranks of students themselves, the head was not so fortunate. Age and hedonism, reaping all the pleasures yet none of the pain had weakened him. Yukari managed to slip in to hs chambers amid the chaos and with the help of a few others, killed the old man with a ceremonial spear.

Then the instructors who tried to take control fell to infighting. While they had been united against the students, they were not so in deciding who should take overall command. Allowing the remaining students, with no loyalties left and awaiting punishment to flee to places beyond the mountain dojo.

Yukari eventually found herself in Tokyo, with no place to turn to she swiftly became a thief, looting everything she could get until she could afford a roof over her head. And even then it wasn't enough, she began to develop an understanding of what money meant in the world. Money was power, it could eventually over-ride any loyalties, Yukari needed lots of it. That's where she joined AFW: a source of income where her training would help her, plus it was always handy to hide the ninja training in plain sight. Taking up the pink trimmed black outfit, no-one would bat an eye here. It was expected. It was the perfect place to make enough money for her to live on in solitude.
