Preventative medicine (For Tatyina)

A bandit. A cretin. She would not let this ruffian run roughshod over this clinic. Gritting her teeth, Thea's muscles tensed. She saw Z.Z. shift and prepare to deliver a vicious stomp. In a swift motion, she pulled the metal drawer out of the cart and twisted to the side, dodging Z.Z.'s foot and coming up in a crouch, weapon in hand, which she promptly swung at Z.Z.'s midriff.

Instead of hitting Thea's skull and mercifully knocking the girl out, Z.Z. found herself stepping forward more than she liked as the crafty nurse rolled out of the way. The pirate was about to make a quip, a smile on her face as her eyes followed Thea. But instead her eye caught wide of the incoming drawer that seemed to hurtle towards her.

It smashed into her stomach and she stepped back, grimacing as she clutched at herself, the pain throbbing and causing her knees to wobble as she tried desperately just to stay on her feet. She was too focused on her own body to clearly see any follow up that Thea might have brewing.

Tch... chh..."

The impact knocked the drawer out of Thea's hands, but she was fine with that. It was not an effective weapon for the long haul. "Picked the wrong clinic to rob, thief." Thea scolded, but then she smiled, "On the bright side, you will get to take advantage of our special after all." Thea stepped in and jumped up, aiming a rising knee strike right at the bullseye: Z.Z.'s lowered head.

Z.Z. took the knee to the face, her head and back jolting backwards as she stumbled backwards. "Oi! What a funny joke!" Z.Z. said though clearly her voice indicated that she wasn't finding the current situation funny. She blinked, trying to see Thea and swung her foot upwards to aim a kick at one of the Thea's that were dancing around in her vision.

Z.Z. came close to choosing the right Thea, but the real one was still a bit too quick for her. She swayed back, almost too far, avoiding the kick. Thea had gotten overconfident, lost her focus, and almost at Z.Z.'s foot for her trouble. The girl was not neutralized quite yet...

Thea had to take a step back to keep her footing. "I never joke about my work," she replied with a hint of pride. Still, she wanted to keep the advantage. She stepped in, aiming a palm thrust at Z.Z.'s abdomen.

Z.Z growled as her kick swung at nothing, the medical attendant bouncing away lightly. Z.Z. shook her head and looked at Thea, about ready to leap at her and go for a choke when she caught a palm to her abdomen which bent her over and caused her eyes to shoot out and spit to fly out from her mouth. She couldn't understand how she was losing to this girl.

"Guh... Ya... ya..."

Thea gave Z.Z. a polite smile as she buckled over. "Don't worry, I've got just the thing to take care of that. And this, for that matter." Gracefully and swiftly, Thea lifted her leg up, almost flush with her head, and aimed to bring it down on Z.Z.'s head with considerable force.

Z.Z. didn't even barely hear Thea's remarks but heard the tone and looked upwards with a wide eyes.

"Huh?"

She lifted her eyes up just in time to catch the foot coming down . Thea's heel smacked her in the forehead and sent her down to the ground where she hit the cold floor and got knocked unconscious.

Satisfied that Z.Z. was unconscious, Thea dusted herself off. "Well, that's that..." She ran her hands through her hair, "Except for all the paperwork..." She grumbled. It was her first time having to dispatch anyone from the Friction roster before, but given how often she was patching up locker room beat down victims, Thea figured it would just be business as usual. "Hope I wasn't too rough with her," Thea mumbled as she began to hoist Z.Z. up into a gurney, strapping her down quite tight and rolling her off to an examination room.
