SS: Layla vs Heather, hardcore dodgeball

Heather was using all the time she could to recover. She knew that in her state now she wouldn't be able to do all that much. The pain in her stomach was way too overwhelming and her breathing was extremely heavy. "Aagh...god" She lets out, talking to herself as she rubs her gut from the pain. Turning her head to the side, she saw Layla heading straight towards her.

Putting an exasperated expression on her face, she was wishing that the girl would have wanted a break as well. Her eyes widened as she saw Layla grab hold of the volleyball she just had. "D-damn!" She lets out as she knows that wasn't good news, but she could barely move with how exhausted she was. "You bitch..." She says as Layla kneels up next to her. She watches as the girl brings up the ball over her gut and panics, throwing her arms up randomly, trying to push at Layla. It was yet another move out of desperation, trying to prevent her from what could possibly seal the match if she was hit yet again in the gut, especially by that weighted ball that she could tell just by holding would hurt quite a bit.

Layla struggled to lift the volleyball over her head, finding it to be heavier than she initially thought, especially in her worn down condition. Never the less, soon she would hold it above her head, ready to drop it down like a meteor down on Heather's gut.

Unfortunately Heather was not as enthusiastic to her plan as she was. Her opponant started psuhing against her in desperation, much to Layla's annoyance. This could potentially end the match for her and she wanted to see it through. But with Heather pushing against her Layla's balance with the ball was shifted, and with a yelp Layla fell backwards, dropping the ball behind her and falling to her back.

Layla ground her teeth furiouslt, pounding the sand in frustration. SHe was so close! So had almost won with that one! Now she needed to take Heather down a few more pegs if she wanted to secure this match. "Grr...I;m gonna get you," Layla growled, slowyly making her way to her feet again.

Just barely managing to prevent that ball from crashing down upon her gut, Heather lets out a long sigh of relief. "Thank God, that was close" She thinks to herself, knowing that she probably wouldn't have been able to take that heavy weighted ball into her gut after the abuse that Layla put it through with jumping on top of it several times.

"..Ok.." Heather says to herself before rolling over to her front finally. Planting her hands onto the sand, she slowly begins to lift herself up, one foot at a time as she turns her head, keeping an eye on Layla, not wanting to suffer from something like one of those dropkicks again. Overall though, Heather was in trouble. Her gut was still pounding frequently from the damage she's taken, and she was just dangerously close to receiving a match ending blow. She had to pull out something to get her back into it.

Slowly, finally, Heather rises to her feet, looking over at Layla. Hearing her words, she puts on a weak grin. "Go ahead and...try it...little kid." She says, letting out a tiny laugh at the end hoping to get the girl riled up to possibly make some sort of mistake. That was what Heather needed now.

Layla managed to get to her feet around the same time Heather did, glaring at the girl as she rose. She wanted to grab a volleyball and wipe that stupid grin right off her face, but for someone as small as her those things were pretty damn heavy, and taking the time to pick one up could be fatal. For now she stood across from Heather, glaring up at her silently.

Of course when Heather insulted her yet again about her height, Layla saw red. "What did you say?!" Layla shouted angrily. And then she took off charging at Heather without a second thought, screaming in rage. In the past such an insult Layla would have taken in stride, but now that she knew how to defend herself she would not take such things lying down anymore.

Charging straight at Heather Layla would duck her head down like a bull, aiming a running headbutt at Heather`s stomach, the same target she had been attacking for quite awhile.

Letting out an insult towards Layla for a third time, Heather had an idea of how the girl would react. Still though, even if it may be predictable it is still a hit or miss for Heather. She needs to time her reaction perfectly because she knows the girl may be mad but she isn't stupid. Heather knows the first area that Layla would be looking to do more damage on would be her gut, and that was something that she wouldn't be able to take.

Heather's eyes widened as Layla charged at her with her rage filled scream. As she thought, the girl was aiming for her stomach, with a headbutt of all things. The speed of the girl would definitely cause Heather a major problem if she was to let her hit her now. Trying to time herself perfectly, Heather lets out a loud grunt, trying to push her energy out once more, attempting to sidestep the girl and drop to the floor, trying to wrap her legs around Layla's feet and attempt to take her down with a drop toehold.

Layla's strategy of attacking Heather's stomach with repeated heavy blows may have been sound but unfortunately her delivery was a bit lacking. In her angered state Heather was easily able to dodge her headbutt completely, and with an alarmed yelp Layla was tripped up, falling into her front and getting a mouthful of sand for her troubles.

"Gahh!! Dammit!" Layla shouted, spitting out the sand that she had taken in her mouth. Heather was really starting to piss her off.She swore she would make her beg for mercy as soon as she got her hands on her again. But for now, getting up was priority, and Layla would start to do so immediately.

Heather's plan had worked, she was able to provoke the girl into running into her set up move. She was filled with satisfaction as she saw Layla fall forwards into the sand, having to spit out an amount that had made it's way into her mouth from the force of the fall. Heather wanted to let out a laugh at the situation, but she had no time to do such things. She had one big chance to capitalize and she had to try and take it.

Rolling herself over, Heather tries to keep her legs wrapped around one of Layla's. If she can do that, she'll try to move her body so she is lying on top of Layla's back, keeping her leg locked in her's, and try to reach her hands around Layla's head, attempting to lock in an STF, shades of her brother Dante's finishing move but a much simpler version. "Come on!" she yells at herself, pushing herself to try and make this work.

"GAAAHHH!!!" Layla screamed as soon as the submission was locked in. The STF stretched her body in all the wrong places, From her leg, to her back to her neck everything was being bent backwards to form this extremely painful move. "Ghhh...god dammit!" Layla cried out, tears forming in the corners of her eyes from how much this hurt. And unfortunately there were no ropes breaks to get her out of this situation. And so with a shaky hand, Layla raised her arm. Was she about to tap out?

As she was able to lock in the STF, Heather's expression lit up. This could be it here and Heather was going to milk it as much as she could. "Heh..Yess..J-just tap! It..must hurt right? You can..end it just by giving up!" Heather says as she tries to pull as much as she can in the STF. Her energy was pouring into this one move and it was straining her as well to keep it locked in and keep the pressure on it.

"Come on! Just...do it!" Heather says. She was hoping for an immediate tap, but that was just extremely wishful thinking. The girl she was fighting was tough, she wouldn't tap out right away, it would take some time in the move, and that was something Heather wasn't all that sure she had. Her breath was building as she kept the hold locked in, the sweat coming down her forehead as she tried to keep the girl where she was. "Damnit!" Heather lets out, cursing how hard it was, the pain in her stomach nagging at her the whole time.

THe pain was near unbearable. Layla's small body was being ebnt in ways it was never meant to be bent. And what was worse, Heather was taunting her about it. It was an agonizing situation to be sure. This match had worn her down already, and now this submission was pushing her to her limit. But the way Heather taunted her, goaded her into giving up. A small spark of defiance began to nuture within Layla. She wasn't out of this yet!

The hand that looked like it was going to tap out slowly clenched into a fist, with only Layla's thumb sticking out. And then she would jam it backwards, hoping to jam it into Heather's eye.
