Jean vs Yatori - Special Gym match (complete)

"This is awesome Yatori."

Since Mia was hugging Yatori from the front, Jean would get behind her and put her hands on her shoulders and jump up and down excitedly.

"You know, I heard the tag team champion belts were vacant. We should enter and try for them."

"Oh.." Mia said turning slightly so that she wasn't holding onto Yatori so much and could see both girls.

"Actually.. I had heard the same rumors and was kinda hoping we could go for the belts." She said, 'we' obviously referring to Mia and Yatori

Yatori grimaced. "Ah..." She hadn't expected to end up in the mental dilemma she imagined just seconds ago. She eyed Mia, then glanced over her shoulder at Jean. "Umm..."

On one hand (or rather, to her front), she would absolutely love to tag team with Mia.

At her back, though, Jean had asked first.

T-this is difficult... but... I did promise Mia-chan first, when she agreed to tag with me after our first meeting...

She looked to Jean with genuine regret. "Ah... gomen, Jean-san... I promised Mia first..."

Deep inside Jean smoldered at the sudden rejection. She didn't mind Yatori and Mia being lovers and she was far from homophobic. However, she felt that Yatori at that moment was being biased by picking someone who she ahd too mcuh feelings for rather than someone who might actually help her win the title. Mia didn't seem too tough an experienced to her.

On the outside, jean sighed slightly, masking her bitter disappointment and then nodded.

"Fine..I understand. Well I wish you both luck. Mia..."

Nodded in cool politeness to Yatori's friend then turned to leave.

"A-arigatou," Yatori replied weakly. "Thank you..."

Mia smiled softly but also regretfully to Jean, she was glad that Jean had seemed to understand... Although she felt bad that Jean had felt so good about teaming with Yatori for that downer to be put on her.

"Thanks.. We'll still need to get Ms. Sellers attention to be put into the runnings, but hopefully it will go well."

"Haii haii," Yatori softly agreed. "I'll have Damian-kun arrange that."
