Akashi Tanikaze vs Daisuke Kamiya

Daisuke slid back in when the opportunity came and when she got to her feet she slowly started to circle her with her arms out, wanting to lock up with Akashi.

Akashi smirked when Daisuke raised her arms in a test of strength. She knew Daisuke was either up to something or foolish because she was eager for the lock up and wen she got close she locked up and grunted as she tried to force Daisuke backwards.

As Daisuke moved back a few steps in the lock up, she attempted to let to with one of her arms and place it on her other arm and Akashi's to go for a hiptoss.

When Akashi felt one of her arms released in the clenched she tried to pull it back and use it to slam it forward into Daisuke's chest, hoping the palm strike would stifle what Daisuke was trying to do.

Daisuke held on when Akashi slammed her arm forward, which caused her to fall back but keep her balance. She let go before Akashi could think of doing a second similar shot and retaliated with a hi jump kick to the lower neck/upper chest area.

Akashi felt Daisuke finally let go and then stumbled backwards whens he felt the kick. They were in close enough that it wouldn't do too much damage but it certainly forced her backwards and off balance.

When Daisuke's foot touched back down and didn't feel any from Akashi coming her way she proceeded to fire another high jump kick to the same area, and if she was able to do so she would have went to combo the kick with two more before finishing it off with a jumping roundhouse kick to the side of Akashi's head.

Akashi was pushed further back by the second kick, leaning against the ropes. She was supported buy the ropes for the third kick and was able to use that to focus more on defense, trying to lift her hands up to soften the impact from the roundhouse and stumbling from the kick. She was disoriented but had managed to minimize the damage, a little sore int he chest but mostly just being kept on the defensive for now.

Daisuke was hoping the final kick in the chain would be enough to take Akashi down or at least daze her long enough for a follow up, but Akashi's guard and use of the ropes didn't discourage Daisuke from letting up. When she landed she looked up, locking her eyes on to Akashi's and brought her leg up again, but instead of going for a high or jump anything she slammed her leg against Akashi's knee (of the leg Dai worked on earlier in the match). Even though Akashi was able to recover from the earlier assault on the leg Daisuke didn't want her to forget above it.

Akashi was reeling and when the next kick came, she let out a cry as it buckled and she fell to it. She'd probably have to try and keep herself near the ground and keep her back near the ropes. She was in trouble but she wasn't out yet. She'd suffered worse in one of her last bouts. Her eyes looked at Daisuke with fierceness in them. Even though she was hobbled for now, she defied Daisuke to come at her.
