Akashi Tanikaze vs Daisuke Kamiya

Akashi was successful with what she wanted to do and there was nothing Daisuke could do about it. By the time Dai came to her senses she was already locked in. After squirming for a little bit she tried grab hold of Akashi's hands, or at least one of them in an attempt to make her break the hold.

Akashi wasn't looking to finish the match. She knew she couldn't with just a single hold. but she wanted to wear Daisuke down. She'd try and put pressure on her back but leaning backwards but when she felt the hand grab at her, she would try and bat the hand away and then stand up, hoping to drop her weight back down on Dauisuke once more. Akashi figured that would hobble the speed of the girl pretty well if it worked.

Daisuke's attempt to get free was no match as her hands were easily batted away. When she felt that Akashi wasn't on her she tried to catch her breath, but as soon as she did she was sent back down via Akashi dropping on her. From his view from the outside Sion showed his support still for his girl by telling her "Come on Dai get up, you can do it!" He then looked up at Akashi, admiring her current tactic, but at the same time hoped Dai could be able to fight it off if it continued like that.

Having dropped on Daisuke, Akashi was looking to continue her punishment. She would sit up again and then try and pull up Daisuke by the hair. Not hard but in a way that could guide her up. If she could she'd then try and pull her into a reverse bearhug, hoping to lock her hands around Daisuke's arms and crush her between her arms.

It took Dai a bit to be able to get an on groggy view on things and whe should could she saw Akashi's arms coming around her. She wasn't able to prevent it from being locked on, but did try to keep her feet on the ground at least. As she felt Akashi's grip she locked her eyes on the nearest set of ropes. If she wasn't lifted off the ground she would have attempted to step closer to it, not trying to force Akashi to break it by grabbing with her legs or just by simply moving, but rather if she could get close enough she'd leap up and push her feet off the upper rope hoping to send Akashi down on he back. If Akashi didn't allow her to move she would try to backkick her on the same leg she worked on earlier instead of squirming.

Akashi was squeezing and lifting, trying to crush any stamina she could out of Daisuke. She could feel the girl struggle and try and hold her in place. The bear hug was Akashi's favorite move and felt it was always her best chance of winning. As she contemplating putting Daisuke in a form of her finisher, she felt the back of Daisuke's heel slam into her leg and she yelped. Her grasp weakened and she abandoned the move, letting go and hoping she could grab the arm and Irish whip Diasuke into a corner.

As Daisuke felt both feet touch the mat she felt like she needed to rethink and as Akashi went to grab her she attempt to pull herself away from Akashi's hands and slide under the nearest set of ropes to where her manager is. If not she'd have do to it on the fly and rested against the corner after making contact with that.

Akashi watched as Daisuke slid out of the ring. She eyed her carefully. "Where are you going!?" She said with a grin. Still. She needed the time to recover. But the Sumo was pretty impatient and if Daisuke even turned to talk to Sion, Akashi would run forward and try to splash Daisuke as she was talking. She wouldn't care if she ihit Sion. He shouldn't be out here if he didn't expect to become collateral damage at some point. However, if Diasuke didn't turn her attention to Sion then Akashi would patiently wait and eye her, using the opportunity to recover herself.

Daisuke wanted to turn to Sion to hear if he had anything to say but Sion made sure she didn't do that and told her to keep looking at Akashi, and adding "You're doing good Dai, just hang in there. Even if she gets ahead don't give up." Dai felt Sion give her a final pat on the back and she took a deep breath before. She proceeded to get back in the ring. If Akashi came close she would have hoped down hoping the ref would instruct Akashi to let her get back in there cleanly.

Sion had no problem with Dai doing what she just did, it was normal but hoped she wouldn't make a habit of it.

Akashi did indeed go for Daisuke but when she hoped back down, she growled . She stepped back and watched her very carefully. Thankfully, she had had quite a bit of time to recover and was starting to feel good all things considered.
