Zero Kotobuki vs "Mad" Max

With the cold look still in her yellow eyes Zero continued to apply pressure to the sleeper, remaining ever silent as Max made his desperate attempts to escape. It would do him little, especially now that Zero had the hold perfectly locked in. Her arm was tight around his throat and her other arm continued to push against the back of his head, not only denying him oxygen but cutting off the blood flow in his cartroid artery.

All the while her legs would continue to squeeze his mid-section, making breathing even harder for her opponant. With both of them on their sides Zero would pull back on Max's head, stetching his body out to make him even more uncomfortable.

Max was feeling weaker by the moment. Should he let himself pass out? No..that would be too risky with this time limit they had. He was limp in his arms. The ref bent down to raise his arm to see if he was out, but Max refused to let that be the way. The longer he was in this hold, the worse off he was. The lack of oxygen to his body and brain was a lethal possibility. What was one more fall? Hoping the ref would notice, Max tapped the mat weakly.

Zero waited patiently for Max's struggles to slow, which they soon did in her lethally proficient sleeper. Idly she wondered if he was even able to tap out at this point. From his limp body it seemed like he had already passed out. But then as he yanked his arm away from the ref, Zero realized he was still kicking, so she reaffirmed the choke to dissaude any thoughts of escape. Soon she had Max tapping out, which was the right decision in Zero's opinion. Being knocked out was never fun.

Immediately she released Max and unwound her arms from his throat, giving him some much needed oxygen. Releasing the body scissors she would kick Max off her and stand back up, and would then look at the timer. They still had about forty-five minutes left, and so far Zero was leading two falls to one. Not a bad thing, but she needed to secure a better lead if she was gonna come out on top.

Walking to her corner Zero took the time inbetween rounds to rest, her cold yellow eyes silently staring at Max. If he didn't recover in time the round would begin anyway, and Max would be in quite the vulnerable position. "...."

Max gasped for breath as soon as his airway had become his own again. He would immediately roll to his his side, weakly holding himself up by his hands. He knew there was only a limited amount of time given between rounds and he needed to get to his corner and rest as quickly as he could. The ref, seeing Max's struggles, would bend over to attempt to help him up, but Max, being the stubborn ass that he could be when his pride was on the line, shrugged off the help. Finally getting to his corner and propping himself against the turnbuckles with himself sitting on the middle pad, Max just stared angrily in Zero's direction. He would only have about 1/5 of the usual resting time in his corner before the bell would ring, which would not prompt him to move so zestfully as before.

Zero watched patiently as Max limped his way to his corner, every so often glancing at the clock as the seconds between rounds ticked down. Max' weakness was beginning o show, and Zero would certainly take advantage of it.

Zero stepped out of the corner to begin the next round, walking towards him with an air of calmness. Her fist were raised at the read as she inched towards her oponant. Once she was in range, Zero's leg would fly up for a very strong kick to the side of Max's head, going for her signature Savate Kick. She hoped to take advantage of Max's reduced speed and take him to the mat, or maybe even knock him out.

Max saw the raised fists as Zero and immediately knew he would have to duck. Not wanting to take a chance, he would weakly roll out of the ring before Zero could even get close enough to try for a kick. He really needed to buy time...and do damage. Then the idea struck him! Locating the spot where he put his hammer and metal plates, Max would try and get there as quickly as he could! He was going to use them as weapons, whether it earned him a dq fall or not.

Zero frowned hwne Max rolled out og the ring before she could even attempt her kick, which was a good thing for him because it surely would have put him down for the count. SHe watched as he slid out of the ring, thinking he was just using this time to recover. The reality was much worse, and her yellow eyes widened when Max retrieved his equipment. The woman scowled fiercly. She hated people who stooped to such tactics in the ring. It was simply dishounorable. She raised her fist at the ready again, her hands clenched much more tightly now.

Max did not immediately get back in the ring, but he could hear the ref counting him out. "3............." Max laid on the ground as though he was hurt, something he hoped would either worry the ref or simply further irk Zero.

"4............."

Zero frowned uncertainly as Max refused to get in the ring. She didn't know what he was up to, be she certainly wan't gonna go out there with him. Now while he had those weapons. She would wait in the ring for him as the seconds ticked away.

"5........."

Max realized neither the ref or Zero was going for his slight possum-play. He rolled under the ring, crawling quickly to the other side of the ring, laying his hammer and plate at the edge of the ring, keeping them covered.

"6........7.......8....."

He would pop up on the other side and quickly slide into the ring as soon as the ref had gotten to 9. He was empty handed, but a bit more rejuvenated. There was no telling what Zero had planned, though.
