Courtney vs Ryu

Courtney threw up her forearm and blocked the kick as she planted the foot she used to kick with down. She then drew back her right arm and balled her fist and tried to nail Ryu across the cheek.

Dodging Courtney's vicious punch by inches, Ryu would take grab of that arm, trying to to turn her missed strike into a judo-style throw.
If successful, the girl would fall loudly into the middle of the ring. Otherwise, he would be in a vulnerable position with Courtney behind him, at such close distance that he could feel her breathing.

Courtney yelped as she was thrown, landed on her back with a growl, she would try to grab Ryu's ankle with her other hand and yank it, trying to get him down.

After his connected throw, Ryu would get close, willing to put the hopefully stunned Courtney into a submission hold, but she proved once again to be a tough opponent:

"Ugh..." the young wrestler lost balance and fell onto the ground nearby Courtney, who had now the advantage.

Courtney snarled and quickly stood up, picking up Ryu's leg she brought down and stepped over it, around it, grabbed his other one, twisted it other that one, and fell back, putting Ryu in a figure four leg lock. She jerked up, hoping to add more pressure.

"Urgghhhhh.....!!!" The efficiency of Courtney's leglock was underlined by the loudness of Ryu's groans of pain. The boy would trash around, unable to get free as the ref was watching intently in case of a possible submission.

"Come on man, I don't wanna break you leg", she said, twisting her legs to the side to add more pain for Ryu. His groans made her smile, in her little slightly sadistic way ^^.

"NNRGHH...!!" , Ryu grunted loudly, clenching his teeth to prevent himself from screaming. The boy was seemingly very close to give up, but then he came out with an idea: twisting his body from side to side, he would try to finally get both of them to roll until they were laying on their face.
If successful, the new position would apply the painful pressure from the figure four to Courtney's legs too.

"SHIT!", Courtney yelled as the figure four backfired. She slammed her fist on the mat, clneching her teeth and trying to force Ryu back onto his own back.

Noticing that they had squirmed closer to the ropes, Ryu would comply with Courtney's effort to roll again, so that he could finally grab the ropes.

The ref commanded to break the action, then he realized that the contenders' legs were entwined so he proceeded to unlock their legs himself, thus setting free both the contenders from the painful joint pressure.
