Courtney vs Ryu

Though he was not hurt by Courtney's succeeded maneuvre, Ryu woud stay laying on the canvas for a few moments, as needing to realize what exactely had just happened.
"..wow...", he whispered, looking up at the lights of the gym from his laying position.

Courtney smirked."Told you so", she muttered, quickly getting ontop of Ryu and beginning to unleash hard punches onto his face with her heavy fists."Just pass out, boy", she hissed as she aimed at his nose with her right fist.

"UGH..!!" In spite of Courtney straddling him and keeping him down, Ryu was able to quickly dodge her strongest punch, having it miss his face and hit the canvas hard.

At the same time he would pull her arm to get the girl unbalanced and dislodge her from upon his body.

Even if successful, he would realize his still vulnerable position with his body circled by her legs, therefore he would try to roll away rather than taking the chance to strike back.

"Shit!", Courtney yelled, falling to her side and grabbing her fist, clenching her teeth."Dammit that really hurt...", she muttered, not paying attention to her opponent at the momment. After a few seconds, Courtney was able to stand, holding her red-knuckled hurt hand, slowly opening it and closing it."That all you got?", she growled, smiling over at Ryu.

Ryu rolled up to his feet with a fluid movement, grinning at Courtney's taunting words.
"Gomennasai (i'm sorry) Courtney-chan, i'll try to do better", he replied with a similar mocking intent, cracking his knuckles and moving a step forward.

"Hm, smartass", she growled, stepping down into a stance with her fists ready."Your japanese shit really pisses me off, like your damned outfit", she taunted back, then rushed foward and slung out her right leg and aimed a roundhouse at Ryu's head.

"Too slow...!", he would smirk in response, an unpredicted intensity glowing in his eyes.
Expecting Courtney's attack, Ryu would close the distance, ducking to avoid her roundhouse kick and circling both of her legs at thigh height, where he would then turn around and slam the girl down with a spine-buster.
If successful, a the loud impact against the canvas would be heard by the whole audience.

"So are you!", Courtney yelled, planting down her foot and stopping the kick when Ryu went to move, turning on her right foot and swinging around her left leg and tried to nail Ryu with a spinning side kick.

"Unghh... good..but not enough!". Unable to avoid this new kick, Ryu managed to partly absorb the impact with his forearm, then he spun around and sweeped Courtney's other leg with a roundhouse sweep.

The crowd was roaring wildly at such battle of martial arts skills taking place in the middle of the ring. If Courtney would be grounded by his latest maneuvre, Ryu would try to follow with a quick elbow drop into her chest.

Courtney threw up her forearm and blocked the kick as she planted the foot was kick with down. She then drew back her right arm and balled her fist and tried to nail Ryu across the cheek.
