Waiting for.....

A soft smile played across the slackers lips. She still hadn't taken off her headphones, but her cassette player was low enough and her hearing was good enough that she was able to understand most of what "Kitty" had said. She also caught the sound of the soda hitting the bottom of the machine. The clothesline was meant to floor the lady, but the machine, apparently, had gotten in the way. Still, it was at least somewhat effective.

"The Ring, of course! S'as much fun as beating you here and now would be, the whole point is the Ring, and little else!" There was a chuckle in her voice. Her demeanor was very relaxed, even as her shoulder still smarted. But regardless of how relaxed she looked, she was now on guard and ready. The ancient comment did catch her off, though, at least verbally. Finally, she pulled her head phones off her ears and let them rest around her neck, the music now being able to heard coming from their respective speakers.

"Ancient? Nah, just fine tuning what I already know....." She watched "Kitty" as she slowly started making her way to the machine. Once she was assured that she wasn't going to be attacked again, she reached for the soda, slowly, and held it out for the ex-convict. "You want it? I don't drink soda."

((Clothesline? She did a clothesline? Never knew that. lol))

Josie eyes the can of soda in Coralline's hand for a few seconds, then glances back up into her eyes. Josie was no soul-reader, but the sparkle in other girl's eyes glimmered something genuine about her. A small trick she learned from her months in the pin where eye contact can tell you the difference from the true bloods and the faint hearted. Josie wasn't sure where to place tihs particular girl, though.

"Soda...yeah, yeah...lemme have it..."

Still eyeing her carefully, Josie will take the can, bring it to her lips and literaly crush the can in her grip, letting the soda pour its way out and down her throat. The whole act was loud, obnoxious, and very vile. She would cotinue to chug down her drink, not caring how left open for attack she was. After she was done, she'd toss the can into a nearby garbage bin. What, you'd think she'd be a litterbug?

"Better than the orts left back in the Waren's cafe, aint it?"

Josie will wipe her mouth and say....whatever she had just said.

There would be no attack, that was just weak. Who would attack someone while they were refreshing themselves? No, she waited until the Ex-con even threw the can away before anything else. After the satisfying wipe of her opponent's now quenched lips, Coralline chuckled at her, completely not understanding anything she said. Waren's Cafe? This was no time to talk about a rabbit's resturaunt. The smile never left Coralline's face.

"Heh, That's weird."

And that was the only other warning. This would be the beginning of it, starting with a strong kick off dash towards "Kitty". Coralline ducked low and brought her fist in a low arc, clearly hoping for an uppercut. Her gloved hand crushed past her strangly tied converses. And the smile never left Coralline's face. True, she wasn't going terribly fast, but clearly there was a strong force behind the purposeful dash.

"Heh, that's wierd"

Coralline's words alerted the convicts' attention towards the little girl more than usual. She still had that odd smile on her face. Last time she checked, neither of the women had made a joke since they met. So either Coralline was a little on the insanse side, or she definatly had a sneaky little plan in store for the ex-criminal.

Josie will step to one side and reveal the vending machine, behind her, for the small girl to run into.

A little insane, actually. There was a wild abandon to how she always fought, a choatic sense of order, as if all actions were random until the very moment they were executed. Only then could it be seen to make sense, or at least some symbolance of it.

The vending machine came closer and closer, and with the ex-convict now moved to the side, there was just one thing to do. Pick up speed. And the Smile never left her face. Instead of trying to force herself to chance direction, she did the best thing she could think of: Run full force into the machine. However, there was method to her madness. Coralline moved out of her ducking position, and crossed her arms, preparing for impact. At the penultimate moment, Coralline jumped slightly, planting her feet just on the machine. The full force of all her power then pushed off, straight at the ex-con. She didn't bother to turn around; she had aimed her recochet straight at her. And the smile never left her face.

Smile though broke into a maniac laugh. This, this was fun. The brawl would start backstage. Maybe they'ld make to the ring. Maybe not. The important thing was that Coralline was, for the first time here, having a great time. Livid. Bright. Full of energy.

An impulsive, grunge-rock listener now turned acrobat? Coralline was full of suprises, and as well as energy. The pretty convict couldn't buy enough time to react, nor was she even prepared for such a manuever. Josie will bring her hands up in a last-minute defense, but Carolline's hip would already make impact with Josie's chest.
Josie will fall on her back, but her arms will encircle around Carolline's, refusing to let the little girl get on her feet after such a fall.

A wise move, the best move the ex-con could have done, really. Arms encircled Coralline's waist and forced her downwards with the Prisoner. A few options presented themselves, and without a moments hesitation, she chose one, for better or worst.

There was little for it: Coralline's head swing backward, heading straight for the Ex-Con's nose. And a smile never left her face. Oh, to be sure, she would regret that in the morning, or more specifically in a matter of moments, but it was the decision. And Coralline stood by it, enjoying herself.

Luckily, the convitct took most of the impact on her forehead, though the strike still managed to put her in shock for a fraction of a second. Josie still had enough wits left to press on to her next move. With Josie still lying underneath the small girl, she will lock thier feet with one another by the ankles, then, finally, wrapping the small girl's neck in her arms in a reverse sleeper and pull back with brute strength. Only then will Josie's lips curl into a devious smirk as well.

"See, you enjoyin' this one, aye?"

The convicts' prison-laced accent could be heard clearly.

The Ex-con's arms never reached Coralline's neck. The first blow with the back of the slacker's head was immediated followed by a second and a third. Head Banging, perhaps? Regardless, once the ex-con released her hold on Coralline's waist, the momentary repreave was all that was needed. Coralline brought both hands quickly behind her head to box the ex-con's ears, at the same time bringing her head back one more time to smash against Josie's nose, for the fourth time. Breaking her nose was exactly the intention. The ground, though carpeted was still hard from the concrete beneath it, and the impact from head to floor would be intense. Anything to secure a release.

After the hopeful connection, which would disorient her opponent greatly, Coralline's hands pushed herself off the ground. Hopefully, the impact was enough to stop her feet from getting tangled, and even if it didn't, there was an immediate plan for that.

((Mind telling me how the ex-con's arms failed to reach her neck? I understand that you just now decided to throw more headbangs, but from Coral's position lying ontop of the con, who is right behind her, her arms should have enough reach. Just like how Coral can bear through the pain of the first headbutt to continue on, The ex-con can bear through the first one to reach for her neck and apply the reverse sleeper. Unless, you see a flaw that I have yet to notice))
