Antonina vs Chigusa

After hitting Chigusa, Antonina moved fast, having in her head some thing that looked like a good plan. Antonina was quite proficient at ground fighting, and she thought she could maintain an advantage if she kept Chigusa from getting on her feet. Her hand went from Chigusaâ€s shoulder to her arm, which was promptly grabbed; then, she leaned back and brought her legs up around Chigusaâ€s head, trying to lock in a triangle choke. If she succeeded, she would start stretching her trapped arm and squeeze her neck. Due to her own position, her skirt was likely to fall down, but she paid no attention to it.

Antonina moved far too fast for Chigusa to counter. Her arm was quickly grabbed and trapped, and her head was suddenly trapped as well. Before she knew it, Chigusa was getting the life choked out of her and her arm stretched painfully. Chigusa let out soundless gasps of pain, feeling her body slowly weaken.

She needed to break out quickly. Chigusa saw that the ropes were close, and reached out for them. She hoped that she would be able to reach, or else Antonina would slowly knock her out in the submission.

Antonina didn't know that they were that close to the ropes; if she did, she wouldn't have put Chigusa in a submission hold. So, Chigusa reached the ropes in almost no time; Antonina, however, didn't let go of the choke, continuing as if nothing had happened. Well, nothing had happened for her: due to her position, she couldn't see that Chigusa had actually made a rope break, so she thought her move was still legit. It was only when the referee caught her attention and she heard a wave of boos from the crowd that she realized her mistake. "Shit... and I wanted to fight clean, too..." Upon noticing the rope break, she immediately let go of the hold, but the damage had been already done; she had stayed with it for some good time after Chigusa had reached the ropes.

Chigusa grabbed onto the ropes tightly with her free hand, but Antonina didn't let go. She wondered what was going on in her muddled brain, trying to figure it all out. It was only several seconds later that Antonina let go, and by that time Chigusa was close to being knocked out. She gasped for air, leaning heavily against the ropes; her face was red and she was heaving hard, trying to get her wind back. The crowd, many of them Chigusa's fans, booed Antonina's actions.

"It was... a rope break!" Chigusa said gaspingly. She was quite angry now, wondering why she had been so nice. If Antonina was a heel, then there was no reason for Chigusa to play nice with her!

Antonina got up, seeing the winded state in which Chigusa was now. Not only did she look breathless, but also very pissed off at her, by the way she talked to Antonina. Although she tried to avoid looking at the crowd, she could feel their pressure on her, and even noticed the unpleased glares of the ones in the front row. "...sorry. I didn't notice it." Although what she said to Chigusa was the pure truth, it sounded like a textbook heel excuse. The shifty way in which she said that, along with her already bad reputation, only made the boos of the crowd louder.

Damn! There was nothing else she could do, except continuing the fight. Maybe - just maybe - people would forget this slip-up by the end of the match. For now, she approached Chigusa, who was still near the ropes. She tried to catch her under her armpits as gently as she could, then pull her up to her feet, both to help her and to keep the match going.

Antonina's feeble excuse only made Chigusa more angry, especially with the rather nonchalant way she muttered it. Chigusa knew she was dealing with someone who wasn't very nice now, she she stopped playing nice too.

Chigusa didn't struggle as Antonina picked her up. She made it seem as if she was still winded, and still quite tired from the submission. But it was a ruse. Right as she got a solid footing, which wasn't very hard with Antonina helping her up, Chigusa would headbutt Antonina in the chin, hoping to stun her and knock her back.

Thinking that Chigusa was still weak enough, Antonina pulled her up, simply not expecting the idol to attack by surprise. Unfortunately, that was exactly what she did. Chigusa's forehead slammed into her chin, rattling her head. The force of the impact made Antonina stagger backwards a few steps, holding her chin. Instinctively, she brought her hands up to protect her face and head, but she was still stunned by the blow.

Seeing her surprise attack work, Chigusa quickly moved to press her advantage. The headbutt had hurt her as well; her head felt sore from where it slammed against Antonina's hard chin-bone. But Chigusa didn't care. She was too angry at this point, using her rage to ignore her pain and fuel her attacks. So she continued, pressing her advantage.

Chigusa raised a leg ans swept upwards, aiming a fast and powerful kick at the side of Antonina's head. If it hit, it would probably be enough to bring Antonina down onto the mat.

Antonina tried to localize herself and Antonina, rushed. "What's happening... I got my guard down again!" She saw Chigusa twisting her hips and understood what was coming towards her. She brought her arms near the side of her head, and tried to move away; but, once more, Chigusa's speed overwhelmed her, and she couldn't get out of the kick's range. She fell spiraling to the mat, grunting. Her arm felt terribly sore where Chigusa's kick had hit; if it had landed directly on her head, though, she could have been seriously injured. Things were getting dangerous. Trying to ignore pain numbness and everything else, Antonina would try to move away from Chigusa to buy some time.

Chigusa winced when her foot struck Antonina's arm instead of her head. The blow hurt her a little bit as well, but she didn't let it stop her. Chigusa was going to push forward, and really beat down upon this woman whom she sees as a heel. She had had bad experiences with the heels in the league already, and now was going to let all her rage out.

So while Antonina started to crawl away, Chigusa fell upon her exposed back. She ran over and bent down, grabbing Antonina's long blonde hair and pulling her to her feet with it. Then, Chigusa would try to grab Antonina's arm in a hammerlock, and shove the Russian into the ropes.
