Antonina vs Chigusa

The crowd was all flared up. The prospects of the next match thrilled them to no end, especially because of the pairing. The fan's favorite, the beautiful idol, Team Eclipse's Chigusa Yuuki was about to face a fighter who, in only one match, had achieved the fame of being greatly brutal with her opponent: the russian Antonina Dvorkin. To the crowd's eyes, it seemed like this match would be one of light against darkness. A number of avid fans wished for Chigusa to win; a smaller number of even more avid fans secretly desired for her to lose, hoping to see the idol exposed just like Antonina's last opponent.

Antonina appeared on the ramp, donning her usual blue military jacket and skirt. She walked towards the ring; her eyes looked at the ground, not pointing towards the crowd once. She didn't want to face it; her first victory had backfired on her, giving her the reputation of a heel when she had just been pragmatic. Now that she had been given a normal match, she hoped that she would have a chance to redeem herself and show her true, clean skills. Antonina got into the ring and went to a corner, her eyes still avoiding the crowd's stare.

While the crowd muttered about the match, Chigusa Yuuki was backstage, busily getting ready for her entrance. Normally, she would've tried to find out some information about her opponent before the match, but she hadn't received word about this match until barely an hour before. There was barely enough time for her to prepare and get ready! Still though, she wasn't worried. She knew that her skill would carry her through.

The lights dimmed as Chigusa appeared on the ramp. A giant spotlight, shaped like a star, blazed down upon her. The crowd fell silent, anticipating a song from their idol. Chigusa didn't disappoint. The crowd, many of whom were fans of Eclipse and knew the song, clapped and sang along, with Chigusa eagerly directing them. After the final verse ended, nO LimiT played over the speakers as Chigusa made her way to the ring, pandering to her fans all the way.

"Thank you all for showing up tonight!" Chigusa shouted into her microphone, "I hope you all have a great time!"

She handed off her microphone to a ring helper before slipping in through the bottom ropes. Turning around, she saw Antonina wearing something that resembled a military uniform, thinking to herself that Antonina must feel really hot wrapped up in all that clothing.

"Hello there," Chigusa said, extending a hand, "My name's Chigusa Yuuki, let's have a good match!"

As Chigusa executed her grandiose entrance, Antonina listened to the upbeat song silently, keeping her cool. "So, this girl is famous around here?" This meant that this fight was, at the same time, a blessing and a curse for her. If both fought well, Antonina would be able to gather good fame as well; however, if she crossed the line again, she would have the crowd against her until god knows when. She thought all this as Chigusa sang, her face unaltered by the entrace. Hearing the whole crowd accompanying Chigusa in unison did make her a little jealous, though.

When the music stopped, Antonina took off her hat, letting it lie behind the turnbuckle, and moved to the center of the ring. Only when she was closer to Chigusa did she lift her head and face the idol. "My name is Antonina Dvorkin." The russian shook hands with Chigusa, her blue eyes devoid of enthusiasm. In truth, deep down, she was nervous.

Chigusa tensed a little when Antonina grabbed her hand. The Russian looked tough and rough, and Chigusa had to be prepared to face a heel; there were more than enough of them around here. But Antonina didn't do anything, just shake her hand briefly before letting go. Chigusa inwardly let out a sigh of relief. Perhaps Antonina wasn't a heel?

Chigusa gave Antonina a big smile to encourage the girl, and then turned to go back to her own corner. She quickly stretched out, giving many of her fans quite an eyeful of her beautiful body under her cute schoolgirl clothes. She waited for the bell to ring as she prepared to begin the match.

Antonina took her gloved hand away from Chigusa's. Just as she was turning her back, she saw a big smile stamped onto the idol's face. Well, at least her opponent didn't know of her infamy. This would probably make it slightly easier for Antonina to fight. She returned to her own corner and waited, looking at Chigusa showing out her quite impressive flexibility.

The wrestlers didn't have to wait long before the bell rang. Antonina went forward, not attacking just yet; instead, upon reaching the center of the ring, she offered a shoulder lockup to Chigusa, wondering whether she would accept it or not.

After warming up, Chigusa turned around to face her opponent. She really didn't know anything about Antonina, or about what kind of fighter she was. All she knew was that Antonina seemed a bit unemotional, and that she wore way too much for what she was about to do. When she saw her opponent offer a simple shoulder lockup to start, Chigusa went up and accepted the challenge, grabbing Antonina's shoulders and pushing against her.

"So then," Chigusa said as she pushed against her, "What's up with your costume? It's quite elaborate."

As they locked their shoulders together, Antonina started pushing against Chigusa as well. No fancy techniques for now; she kept herself to wrestling by the book. What she wanted was to fight completely cleanly, at least until the match got more heated. Antonina, meanwhile, tried to figure out what kind of person she could be up against. It was certain by now that Chigusa was a crowd pleaser and a good singer. Also, after some seconds of struggling, Antonina thought she could overpower her in terms of strength. But that wasn't enough. Based on that information, Chigusa could still be anything ranging from a face jobber to a deceitful heel.

As she started to push a little harder, Antonina heard Chigusa's comment. "Hm?" She thought about it for a second or so. "There's nothing wrong with it." At least in her mind, it suited her perfectly. She was pretty comfortable with fighting with that costume, despite its cumbersome appearance; also, she didn't like to show off her body, so it served her just well by hiding much of her figure.

She pushed stronger again. "Also, yours is flashier than mine." She referred matter-of-factly to Chigusa's schoolgirl costume, which seemed uncommon to her. She would say only that, not wanting to get distracted while she tried to push Chigusa towards the corner.

After a few moments of pushing, Chigusa could feel herself getting slowly overpowered. But that was to be expected; she wasn't the strongest fighter by a long shot. She won her fights through speed and skill, not overwhelming power. She had a god gauge on Antonina's power now though, and felt that she could stand up to it if she needed to. But for now, Chigusa slowly gave ground to Antonina, getting pushed back into her corner.

"I didn't think there's anything wrong with your costume," Chigusa said, "But aren't you feeling rather hot?" She was only asking innocent questions, but of course they were intended to have an effect. Maybe Antonina would get distracted by feeling heat, now that Chigusa brought it up.

"No", Antonina said bluntly. Why would this girl talk so much? Maybe she was plotting something. Maybe she wanted to tease her. Maybe she was just careless enough to talk during a struggle. Still too little information. "Aren't these stage lights a bit too intense?" No, no, no. She had to concentrate on the fight. She tried to shrug the distraction off, but now an annoying sensation of heat had clung to her.

"Enough of this costume talk." At this point, the wrestlers were now close to Chigusa's corner, and Antonina decided to let off a burst of strength to force Chigusa's back against the turnbuckle. She could forget her bodily sensations; she just needed to immerse herself in the fight, and that was exactly what she was trying to do now.

Chigusa only talked because she felt that she should get to know Antonina a little bit, both to gauge her as a fighter and to see if she was fit as a friend. Perhaps she was being careless, but there was no reason why she couldn't talk a bit when all they were doing was pushing against one another. She was alert though, and knew that she was getting backed into a corner. Chigusa had to break out fast before she was cornered.

Antonina's busrt of strength suddenly pushed Chigusa back into the turnbuckle. "Crap!" Chigusa thought. She was trapped now, with no way out!
