Queen of Brawl, Wolf of Battle (For Darius)

The most Ciara could do was jam her chin down to try and lessen the impact of Sarah's powerful strike.

It didn't do much.

Stars exploded in Ciara's brain and her air supply was cut off for a few vital seconds as the blow struck home. Ciara was far from finished, but she was definitely disoriented and in trouble. Blindly, she reached out and latched onto Sarah, clinching tightly with her and trying to regain her bearings. Somewhere in the back of her mind, she thought to herself that this was probably karma with a vengeance. If she managed to recover, it would be time to step up her game.

Growing angrier still that Ciara had not been taken down, Sarah snarled in outright fury. Ciara's cinch did little to stop the Queen of Brawl's rampage. The adrenaline was pumping now, and it was working pretty well with her rage.

Sarah reached down between of Ciara's legs, and would then lift her clean off the mat upside down. It was a set up for a classic but devastating piledriver. Sarah allowed herself a malicious sneer, right before she dropped down and slammed Ciara on her head.

Ciara had shaken off enough of her disorientation to realize what Sarah was doing and gasped when Sarah hauled her clear off the mat. In panic, she brought her legs back and drove them forward in a barrage of knee strikes, caring not whether she hit the face, neck, shoulders, or chest. Reaching blindly through her still-confused vision, she took grabbed the instep of one of Sarah's knees with both hands and yanked forward with a strength borne from adrenaline. She needed Sarah to stumble instead of going through with the attack, but she tried to bend her head forward so the impact would fall some on her shoulders if it went through.

Fortunately with the awkward positioning Ciara knee strikes wouldn't be too effective against Sarah, and were merely an annoyance to the Queen of Brawl. And the fact that Sarah had to drop to a kneeling position to perform the piledriver meant that Ciara's pulling of her knee wouldn't do much good. Sarah's piledriver would follow through, and with Ciara ducking her head in, her neck and shoulders would slam into the mat instead.

After that Sarah would let Ciara's body flop to the mat. But she wouldn't leave her there to rest. Swiftly Sarah would move to straddle the soldier, pinning her beneath her weight. One hand would move to grasp Ciara tightly around the throat. The other would ball into a fist, and Sarah would start punching the soldier repeatedly in the face.

The moment Ciara felt Sarah straddle her and an iron grip curl around her throat,the raven-haired fighter knew she was in trouble. She cried out as a number of punches struck home and blood began to flow freely from her nose. Now her survival instinct truly kicked in; through the unrelenting strength of her enemy's blows and her furious threats, she knew that Sarah meant to do more than just K.O. her. In an effort to buy time, she tucked her head forward and turned her face repeatedly, trying to time it so that a few punches would impact her forehead or cheeks rather than her full countenance.

She acted quickly and decisively despite the painful blows that were slamming into her, trying to get out of her situation with a two-pronged technique. Using her muscled abs and legs, calling on the strength afforded to her by anger and adrenaline, Ciara bucked her hips violently upwards, hoping to unbalance the Queen of Brawl while simultaneously grabbing for Sarah's throat grip. Instead of trying to remove the entire hand, Ciara grabbed two of Sarah's fingers, pointer and middle, and pried them violently backwards, squeezing hard with the intent to inflict pain and force the grip off of her. Once freed, she would then snatch both of Sarah's wrists with her hands and throw her head forward in a vicious headbutt, aiming right at the redhead's solar plexus.

Again and again Sarah slammed her fist into Ciara's face, her knuckles becoming bloody from Ciara's broken nose. There was no smile on her face as she did this, her lips merely curled into a furious snarl. Both girls were now bloody and enraged, wanting nothing more than to leave each other in a barely alive state.

Suddenly Ciara bucked quite strongly, shifting Sarah's weight so she was now a little futher up Ciara. It stopped the brawler's punching spree momentarily, giving Ciara the time enough to grab her index and middle finger, and cried out in pain as they were bent backwards. SHe released Ciara due to the pain, and her wrists were grabbed easily. Then in a nearly crippiling strike, Ciara's head slammed into her solar plexus. Sarah let out a breathless cough, barely able to breath, and would roll off Ciara coughing to try and get some air back.

Ciara wasted no time in staggering to her feet, eventually grabbing onto a section of rope that was close enough to the cornerpost, propping herself up against its padding. She checked her face out a little bit. There was a bit of swelling, but Ciara had taken a lot of damage out on the front, so it was almost as if her body was used to it. Her nose was broken though, and, bracing herself, the tough soldier seized it with both hands and expertly snapped it back into place, giving a sharp cry and a hiss as she did so. No matter what happened next, Ciara was sure she'd need attention in some form or another. Now, though, it didn't matter. Sarah was still in the fight, and the angered girl was determined to beat it out of her, whether the redhead was sobbing, screaming, unconscious, or in a goddamn coma.

Her own exhaustion and pain seemed to fall away from her as that dangerous fury coursed through her. She rolled her muscles and cracked her neck as she began to stand up straight, waiting for Sarah to get up. She could have descended on the recovering girl and beaten her into pulp right there, but Ciara wanted an undisputed victory. She wanted the Queen of Brawl to lose on her feet in a full-on assault, then she would be satisfied.

Hoping to push along Sarah's desire to fight, the raven-haired fighter taunted her one last time. "Hey, if you're done practicing being a DYING WHORE, let's finish this bleedin' thing."
Little did Ciara know, she might have just antagonized the redhead in the worst way possible.

Sarah slowly got to her feet as well, and like Ciara, used the ropes to haul herself back up, while one hand tended to her injured chest. She was still finding it hard to catch her breath, but at least she was standing again. It was getting harder and harder to do even that. The more this thing drew out the more tired Sarah was becoming. Not to mention the blood loss. But Sarah knew, just knew that Ciara was in the same way as she was, the Queen of Brawl made sure of that.

"Hey, Sarah," Rika whispered to her through the ropes. "YOu've got to calm down. You can't take that many more hits!" It was at that moment that Ciara choose to say her piece, and Sarah's eyes narrowed.

"No, I don't think I'll be doing that," she growled angrily. She turned to Ciara again, trying to look fine despite the pain she was feeling just about everywhere. "Come on. Let's end this you fucking slut."

Ciara winced as another of her many injuries, this time the flowering bruise on her left shoulder from the drop kick, came back to bite her in the ass. Ciara felt a trickle of blood trail down her right temple and down her cheek, no doubt from the savage face beating she had received earlier. She too knew that her body was close to running on empty, with a mixture of anger, adrenaline, and sheer willpower carrying her along. To Ciara's satisfaction, though, just one look at Sarah told her enough. The Queen of Brawl was in a bad way just like she was.

She grinned mirthlessly as she noticed that her callous taunt had struck a nerve somewhere, and Sarah was ignoring the little tagalong's concern just to come at her. Too bad, bitch, Ciara thought to herself, following the little muppet's advice was your best choice.

The two girls were both putting up brave, stubborn fronts, neither allowing herself to give away how injured they truly were. But everything about Ciara's posture and behavior insisted that she was going to fight to the end and nothing else. Thrusting out her bare chest and clenching her fists, she strode forward aggressively, right at her enemy, trying to look as if though she wasn't feeling the damage from every part of her body. She stopped at the center of the mat, wiped the blood from her cheek, and used it to mark a grim line in front of her.

"Step up to the line, bitch. Here's how we'll finish it. Get your arse over here and fight me straight-up, toe-to-toe. No backing down. No tricks, no flashy shit. We pound on each other until one of us goes down. End of fucking story."

If there was one thing Sarah hated more than Ciara at the moment it was being told how to fight. And since that little peeve was coming from Ciara herself, Sarah was right back to hating the soldier again. But she had to admit, as far as settling it, a boxing match seemed like the perfect way to do it. Hammwe on one another until one doesn't get back up.

"You're a fucking piece of work, you know that?" Sarah growled, and started walking towards the line, despite Rika's protests behind her. "You want to play it that way? Fine. Be a poor sport." She halted before the crudely drawn red line and scowled. Sarah was confident in punches. Ciara was going down hard.

And with that thought, Sarah threw a destructive punch at Ciara's face.
