Ciara's Debut: Veteran vs Veteran (for psychopatrick88)

Ciara's arm smacked into Rose's jaw just as her opponent's fist slammed into her cheekbone, making her vision spin and lights burst before her eyes. She staggered for a moment, then lunged forward for the palm, throwing much of her weight into the strike to compensate for her dizziness. Even as Rose was knocked into the turnbuckle, Ciara wavered for a moment, leaning over and placing her hands on her knees, trying to recover whatever oxygen and energy she could before she threw herself back into the spar. The military fighter took a few long deep breaths before straightening herself upright, then grinned at her opponent. No matter who she was up against or why, Ciara always appreciated a good, clean and straight-up fight.

But she was more than a little worn out, since Rose could deal out such a high level of damage with relatively few strikes, which was more than understandable considering her former profession and her rough time in incarceration. Perhaps the end was in sight for both of them, particularly before the fight turned sloppy or nasty, but Ciara was ready to put forth at least one last effort before she threw in the towel.

Hunching forward and propelling herself forward like a linebacker, Ciara threw her body forward, aiming to slam her chest and shoulders into Rose's midsection, using her weight and muscle as a hammer with the turnbuckle as the anvil.

Rose panted softly as she rested her arms over the top rope. She had to admit, she was a bit impressed. She didn't believe anyone here at the AFW could fight nearly as fierce as this woman. She noticed that grin on her face towards her. She was enjoying the fight.

Rose wouldn't show it externally, but she was enjoying the fight as well. She braced herself when Ciara rushed into her, and she felt the wind rushing out of her already tenderized belly.

"GUhh!!" She coughed, hunching over her, but then she'd plant her hands down on Ciara's shoulders just enough to right herself back up, and then she'd bring her fists together to club into her back. If Ciara fell, Rose would fall down with her from the burning sensation in her belly.
