Leah Shaw vs. "Amazon" Alaina Sanders

Alaina knelt next to Yori, shaking her head and pulling her hair! She was in shock that the small blonde kept kicking out! Alaina raised her hands up and smashed Leah with a double axe handle strike to the abdomen before lumbering her way back up to her feet. Alaina yanked Leah by the hair and hauled her back up to a standing position right in front of the amazon. "It looks like our little parade will just have to continue then huh?" Alaina said wrapping an arm around Leah's shoulder and grabbing her backside between her legs seemingly ready to lift her off her feet once more.

“Ugh!” Leah’s body jolted, hammered with the heavy blow from Alaina. The crowd Had started to gradually turn throughout the match. Gone was the good-natured ribbing of competition, things had become uncomfortably unsportsmanlike and were now manifesting in boos from the audience. A rookie Leah may have been, but she had become a beloved and lovable babyface over on Tension since her debut.

Leah let out a yelp as he hair was grabbed again, reaching up to grasp at Alaina’s wrist, trying to get a grip to lessen the pain of having her hair yanked again. She let out a frustrated and labored breath, clearly annoyed the referee kept allowing for the constant hair-pulling. In the brief window, she was upright, she did her best to fight back, throwing a forearm strike right at Alaina’s face. She couldn’t get her full weight or power behind the blow though, still reeling from the constant punishment she had been dealt.

Alaina was not expecting Leah to fight back, she had pulled Leah up and thought she was going to cruise but instead she took a hard forearm to the face! Alaina's head snapped back and she let go of Leah, staggering back a couple steps on limp legs as she shook her head trying to shake off the momentary daze as quickly as she could before Leah could capitalize. Alaina wasn't expecting much trying to be on guard for maybe some quick strikes or something along those lines....

Leah’s successful strike seemed to be a surprise to both women. Even though she had been the one to land the blow, when Alaina backed away it left her stumbling to stay upright from the weight she put into the attack. She caught herself from falling with a few unsteady steps until she found solid footing. This was the only chance she’d get. If she couldn't get the Amazon to back off her now, she was just going to keep tossing her around like a ragdoll. The blond brought up her hands, fingers balled into fists. Rather than her usual grappling she had adopted a stance more fit for a boxer.

She stepped in with two left jabs towards Alaina’s face. Simple punches, ones that she expected to be blocked. The real blows would come after, leaning in to try and deliver a hard body shot with her right fist. If she couldn't open Alaina up with that, she’d try to back off. If she managed to make ground though, she would aim to keep an advantage and run the former champion down with as many body shots as she could manage, trying to cripple the woman's stamina for the rest of the match. Her brother might not have been the kindest teacher, but the work they put in together certainly was effective when she could incorporate it.

Alaina did successfully block the shots to the head however the body shots caught her off guard! She grunted and tensed up her abs as she grit her teeth though, and the amazon was hurting although still tanking the hits better than Leah may have anticipated. Alaina would reach out and try to grab Leah to shove her back hoping to get her on the wrong foot. As Alaina shoved she would be closing the gap looking to move in quick and attempt to clothesline Leah down to the mat after hoping to stop this woman from peppering her with annoying strikes!

Leah was running on adrenaline and instinct, desperate to preserve any kind of momentum she could build up after the devastating series of blows and slammed that had left her aching and more sluggish than usual. Her knuckles dug into Alaina’s guard, leaving her free to bury her fist in the other woman’s stomach. It didn’t sink nearly as far as she hoped, but was willing to keep trying until it did.

When Alaian lunged out and shoved, it almost through Leah back off her feet. She was still unsteady, still hurt. After a few stumbled steps she had managed to brace herself jst in tim for th amazon to bear down at her with a clothesline. She turned her body into it, tucking an arm to get between the blow and her upper body. It connected hard, not managing to strike her chest but fulfilling its purpose all the same by sending her sprawling to the canvas and scrambling to rise and back up at the same time.

Alaina connected and sent Leah down to the canvas... she didn't realize the hit didn't connect quite the way she had hoped. The smiling amazon stepped up towards the rising Leah and reached out to grab hold of her thinking she would be more dazed than she perhaps actually was. Alaina wanted to deliver a northern lights suplex to Leah, sos he moved in trying to lean forward and grab her around the waist to set this up thinking her clothesline had totally rocked Leah prior to this...

As Alaina laid a palm on her the blond surged to action. Surprisingly lively, Leah swiftly retaliated, throwing her arm wide to attempt to bat her opponent’s arm aside with her forearm and deflect her attempt to grapple. The rookie saw an opportunity and seized it with purpose, closing in on lunging forward.

It was a race to act and Leah aimed to outmaneuver the Amazon. One arm dove low, attempting to slip between Alaina's thighs, while the other reached for the nape of her neck. The blond's intention was clear, she was about to try and lift Alaina

If Leah succeeded in getting a grip on Alaina or the former champion couldn't react swiftly enough, the blond would showcase her strength. With a strained grunt, Leah would flex her muscles, trying to hoist Alaina off the mat. In a sweeping motion, she would suspend the veteran upside down, setting the stage for a high-angle bodyslam and in a spectacular fashion, drive the amazon down into the mat with as much force as she and gravity could muster.

Alaina was in total shock as Leah moved quick, grabbing her and lifting! Alaina wasn't able to stop the lift and with a shocked look on her face she simply shook her head as she crashed down hard to the mat with a loud bang! "ARGH!" Alaina howled as she was laid out on her back, weakly kicking her right leg to the mat twice as she laid there in pain. She let out a low moan of agony as she was absolutely taken by surprise by the move as well as the pain and power of the slam Leah managed!

Leah looked down at Alaina writhing on the mat. She knew just how heavy the other woman was, figuring that all that weight might help her bully opponents in the ring but it also worked against her taking falls. Was it enough? Probably not. It was up to her to make it count though. She brought up her arm, the single red elbow pad she wore on full display. She gave the black crosshair design on it a few slals before dropping down quickly to plunge her elbow into the amazon’s abdomen, looking to wind the other wrestler. She would collect a leg immediately after with a hook of her arm and lay her weight across Alaina to try and keep her from getting up as she went for the pinfall.
