Akashi Tanikaze Vs. Masane Tajiri

Akashi felt herself slam against Masane and grunted a little from the fall. She knew she was in a good position and lifted herself up. And fall back so she was sitting on Masane's knees, trying to fall down hard on them. "these legs are made to withstand someone bigger than me trying to kncokme over!" If she could, she would bring her hands up and try and throw hard open handed strikes into Masane's thighs. That was the key to victory, taking the legs from this girl.

Masane tried to roll over as soon as Akashi stood up, hoping to avoid the sumo from falling back down on her knees, trying to escape the woman quick.
"Damn it..."

&kashi fell on her butt as Masane rolled but she felt this might give her a better advantage as she tried to grab one of Masane's legs and put her in an ankle lock.

Masane felt Akashi snagging her leg as she rolled onto her back, and she tried to throw kick after kick at the sumo's head, trying to avoid getting her legs trapped, as she knew that's what the woman wanted to take out.

Akashi growled as Masane shot kicks at her. Trying to get to her legs was just getting her head kicked or kicked at. It was getting frustrating. She held up her hands to deflect the blows, keeping them from striking her head but stifling her attempts to put the lock on. She tried to snatch bothankles out of the air and pin them down so she could go to work.

Masane kept kicking at her wherever she could, until both legs were suddenly snatched at the same time, and pinned down by the ankles. She let out a small grin as the moment her legs were pinned down, she sat up, using the momentum she got from sitting up, and tried for a straight right aimed for Akashi's face. "Kiyahh!!"

Akashi was hardly expecting such a tactic and was caught with no way of avoiding the punch. She took it hard and rolled away to grab her face and check herself. "Dammit!" She cried out. Masane had done a pretty good job of frustrating her so far. She was definitely earning the respect &kashi had given her but the sumo was certain she could pull off victory. She kept an eye on Masane as she held her face. "That's it... No more miss nice sumo." She said with a grin to herself as she tried to stand up..

Masane smiles a little as her blow struck true, and sent her rolling back. She started to get her legs underneath her, and was starting to get a little confident. "No way I'm letting you take away my arsenal." She declared. "Not without a fight." She added, shifting back into her stance. She had to admit, she was enjoying this match. It was interesting, dealing with a style she hadn't come across before. So far, it seemed she was winning against it, but she couldn't let her guard down. Not if this woman sought to become champion one day.

Akashi stood up and collected herself before lifting her hamds up again. She had charged Masane twice and gotten her down both times but still felt she was not winning the fight 'on points' so to speak. She didn't want to charge again, so she waded in a little more cautiously, trying to get a feel for Masane. She had been showing her the sumo technique pretty well but that didn't do her good with no ring outs being awarded. It was time to shw her the sumo power. She sent a pretty predictable close fisted straight jab at MasaneLs head when she got close enough.

Masane braced herself as Akashi finally learned that charging in towards Masane was a no-no. As she moved in closer, she saw a jab coming for her head, and she would try to catch it and pull her in with a small smirk. "Come on now..." She said.
