Miss Penance VS The Seeker of Enlightenment (DEBUT) - Start of 2023!

The cheers of the crowds who have gathered for a match on the first week of January 2023 was something to behold. The fortune and hopes of the new year was sure to raise the morale of the wrestlers who would be competing tonight.

The spotlight once again focused on the stage, which the wrestlers would enter. A familiar face from last year would be part of the headliner. Miss Penance, who has currently scored herself one win so far, was to face off against another debut wrestler.

The music was cued. A breakthrough wall has been set up with a projector giving the impression of cracks on the wall. When the beat dropped, the wall was busted through. Some pyrotechnics lit the stage, once the wrestler in question appeared at the top of the ramp. The screen showed the name of the wrestler.

MISS PENANCE

Juniper Nashville "Miss Penance":

It was a familiar routine. She strolled down the ramp, waving at the audience, who were getting hyped at her arrival. The spotlight was the same pink that was on her from her last match. Being more confident this time, when she hopped onto the ring, she started to stand at one of the post with both legs, keeping her balance. She raised her fist to the air, keeping the crowds hyped.

She did the same stint as usual. She faced away from the ramp and stage. It was more like something she does to wrestlers meeting her. Was there an intimidation factor? Perhaps. Regardless, she waited for them to bring out the debut wrestler.

Natsumi would admit, it had been quite some time since she had arrived in Tokyo and even longer since she was given a match here in Friction. That wasn't to say Natsumi had been nothing other than meditation in fact it was the opposite! The seeker of enlightenment had kept to a strict regime of keeping her body honed and her mind sharp, days were spent doing exercise and nights spent meditating and doing martial art routines. Now finally she had a match in the Friction arena, against a relative newcomer named Miss Penance!

Spoiler:

Ms Ozora was resting in her locker room, stretching her body in a unique way and dressed only in a black and gold bikini with black leggings that left her feet bare it showed the monk's body quite well. The stage hand informed her she was due up on stage now. Giving a silent nod Natsumi would stride towards the entrance ramp......the lights dimmed out into a purple tint as the opening of the seeker's theme known as Gokuraku Jodo would blare from the speakers. With a white curtain showing Natsumi's silhouette there as she did the dance of the song and came out when the lyrics hit to a loud applause!

The seeker had a light smile to her face as she gracefully danced down the ramp, then climbed up the steps and bowed to the audience on the apron before stepping through the ropes and bowing to her opponent for tonight. They seemed like quite the unique character if that pink dress was anything to go by! "Greetings! Natsumi Ozora shall be your opponent for this evening, let us have an impressive showing together!" as she moved to her corner and breathed deep in preparation for this match to begin!

Miss Penance noticed the upbeat tune of the debut wrestler, so she turned around to see her dance towards the ring.

Some first impression, that's for sure.

Miss Penance couldn't help, but notice the figure of the monk. She was rather curvy. She can't judge people's appearances, she was going to fight this woman. Making sure to keep up with the respect, she returned a bow to Natsumi.

"Natsumi Ozora, huh?" Miss Penance backed towards her corner of the ring, keeping eyes with Natsumi. She cracked her knuckles together. "Interesting getup. Hope you don't mind me slamming you onto the floor. I've heard little of you." Miss Penance mentioned to Natsumi.

Natsumi stood tall there in the ring, keeping her frame straight as an arrow yet as relaxed as the calm waves. She was no stranger to conflict despite her monk background, in fact it had been encouraged by the temple she was raised at citing that one's ability to handle themselves had to be needed in order to stay on the right path. Hence why Natsumi's body had clear muscle on it and her confidence in the squared circle was evident, still it was exciting to behold given the loud crowd in attendance!

"Oh? Attempt it if you can Penance-san, but I'll be giving my effort for this all the same!" Natsumi had come to Friction to experience pleasures but here tonight for her debut the monk sought to make a showing that she was capable of proper combat, hence her more serious demeanour and drawing on her martial arts background as she'd then enter her stance for the fight.

Right arm gently outstretched with an open palm and her left one resting close to her stomach as her legs would get poised for performance, once the bell rang Natsumi would state "Prepare yourself!" as she'd then make to dash towards Miss Penance there and try to deliver a swift jumping spinning right kick to her gut!

Miss Penance didn't reply. She slipped on her goggles, getting herself ready until the bell would ring.

When Natsumi yelled to prepare herself, Miss Penance got caught off guard when Natsumi immediately dashed forward. Miss Penance could take a hit really. But, she was unprepared when Natsumi launched a spinning kick into her gut. The blow knocked Penance backwards into the ropes.

This girl is serious! I need to find a good way to counter her.

Penance was trying to come up with a way to get Natsumi down. However, she decided to maintain some distance away from Natsumi. Juniper's plan was that when Natsumi went to rush towards her again, Penance would rush and clothesline her. Miss Penance moved away from the ropes and got herself in position.

The match was underway now and Natsumi would show that she was more than capable of handling herself in a scrap, the search for pleasure could wait for the time being she reasoned in this endeavour as she went at it. Miss Penance seemed to be taken aback by Natsumi's martial art display there, the attire wasn't for show as the monk learned to fight from an early age in this regard!

That was a solid blow and managed to send Miss Penance backwards there to the ropes, which Natsumi would acknowledge that her foe was made of tough stuff from the looks of it! Still the enemy would be met by the monk attempting to come in close there with some rapid wing chun jabs, only to be met by Miss Penance coming in hard with a clothesline there right across Natsumi's neck!

"Guh!" Natsumi would grunt out as her neck was yanked backwards, sending the seeker of enlightenment crashing to the mat there with a heavy thud. The style of pro wrestling was still at the moment something Natsumi would clearly have to get used to now~

Miss Penance managed to get her down. That clothesline really knocked her down. Struck her neck too, unfortunately. Penance was trying to not break them, but Natsumi looked she like was still good.

Miss Penance wanted to show off a common move she wanted to do against Starlight. Natsumi might be the best type to showcase it to the audience. Not as a signature move, but something to get the crowds interested. She went up to the downed Natsumi and grabbed at her legs.

She was going to perform a Cesaro Swing on the downed monk, spinning her around and tossing her towards the rope. It would be actually hilarious to see the monk slide out, but Natsumi might have a chance to counter her. Having a hefty grip on Natsumi's legs, Miss Penance started to turn her body with Natsumi, attempting a spinning motion.

Natsumi had been knocked down more than once in a scrap, it came with her training and the monks weren't ones that pulled their punches in a spar even in order to better be ready to defend themselves. She was far from done in the start of this bout but the art of wrestling was still something to get used to, case in point Miss Penance was going to demonstrate another wrestling move staple here as the monk would feel her legs getting grabbed there by her opponent.

Suspecting a submission hold Natsumi steeled herself for a grapple, only to then find herself being swung around the ring there! "AhhhhhHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" the seeker of enlightenment would yell as on instinct her hands would move to her temple of a forehead there, Natsumi would draw on her meditation lessons to steady the jarring sensation in her head there and tried to steady herself.

But it'd at least only last for so long before she was then sent for a trip and crashed and burned near one side of the ring there, where Natsumi would lay there groaning as she covered her eyes with her hands there and pondered on what just sort of journey she had embarked on there!

Miss Penance sent her flying towards the ropes. Natsumi was already downed, though Miss Penance was starting to get annoyed. Her opponent was a real pushover. She gotta give her a chance, otherwise it would be pointless for such a short match.

"Girl, get up. We hadn't even fully started. Come on.." Miss Penance walked over to Natsumi laying on the ring. She squatted, trying to get her to prop herself back up. "You're not quitting on, damn it! Come on! Get up!"

Miss Penance was ready to take the next hit at whatever Natsumi had in store.

Natsumi was no stranger to feelings of vertigo, in fact the monks would often have her balance herself upside down from time to time to let her feel the blood rush down to her head in search of answers. But this was far from an ideal time and place to be engaging in outward thoughts when Natsumi felt her body get tossed there, her ears rang a bit but she could hear the voice of her opponent calling for her to get up. Even going as so far as to try and prop up the seeker into a more vertical position............

That would prove to be a big mistake there!

What Miss Penance was doing here was clearly helping to bring the monk back to a state of the here and now, for the monk's body and mind would merge as one being there in order to exact retribution upon Miss Penance there. Natsumi would grit her teeth and attempt what was termed in wrestling as a signature move of hers. Purification!

As Miss Penance made to prop up Natsumi the monk would suddenly get in close and prop her opponent's arm over the back of her neck, before then seeking to slam her open palm right into Miss Penance's solar plexus to take the wind and hopefully evil right outta the lady's sails there!
