Double Debut: Serpentrix vs Justice Seeker Nisa

This was Serpentrix’s “second tour” in Japan.

First one happened years ago, on a “quickly in and quickly out” assignment, far from any urban area and it lasted for just one night. It could hardly be counted as a “tour”. However, this second tour…this was something completely new for her.

On her first tour, she didn’t need to speak Japanese. On this second one though, she was going into the beating heart of Japan. Even though she received a very brief education, her Japanese was still rough and not very useful. Thankfully, all of her contacts were fluent in English.

Serpentrix was given an entire week to settle in and adapt to new surroundings and culture, before she was booked a debut match. She could complain that a week was not enough, but she was more than grateful to receive even that much. Yet, the week passed quickly, and everything was still very unfamiliar for her.

This feeling didn’t change while she was getting ready for the match. The backstage area, with all the people from the backstage crew, cameras…it all added up to the general feel of unfamiliarity and strangeness. That same feeling followed Serpentrix ever since she arrived in Japan. Soon, she was brought back into the reality when she received the self-deleting message with info about her opponent. Her masters were giving her a heads-up.

Quickly as she could she read the info. Child of policeman and humanitarian worker, herself being a humanitarian worker and volunteer police officer… ”Little Miss Do-Good…” Serpentrix smirked and muttered to herself, while continuing to read. This girl was also trained in Karate and various Chinese martial arts…”Who am I fighting against, the Karate Kid?" Serpentrix thought to herself while letting the message deletes itself.

Her opponent was a brawler, younger than her, of smaller height and lesser weight. On top of that, she was blinded by ideals. Thinking about this, Serpentrix arrogantly smiled as she fixed her tie and checked her bullet-resistant vest. Time to step into the ring has come, and the beating drums of Triarii’s Mother of Pain started echoing throughout the arena. Standing behind the curtain, Serpentrix was getting ready, catching the beat of military drums, mentally blocking out the roar of the crowd. Boos and cheers were of no concern to her. “Too much people and too much light…not my idea of ideal battlefield…” She muttered while she went in…

Wrestling Attire:

"Frenchwoman" strode down the ramp and towards the ring, her every step followed the beat of the drums. She climbed in the ring through the ropes, and went to the center of it. Now she could see the crowd, knowing that she is being watched; not just by the common people but also by her own masters.

She gestured a quasi-military salute toward the crowd, before retreating to her corner of the ring. As the lyrics of the song went with “An army of destruction, we’ll force the end” and “We are tremendous, we are the end of days”, Serpentrix smile viciously. “Of course we are.” She whispered. While her entrance song was going silent, Serpentrix leaned back against the corner post, waiting to see this “Little Miss Do-Good”. She was about to greet her with the “sniper’s greet”, “aiming” and “shooting her down” with her right hand, like she was using the sniper rifle. An arrogant smirk was not leaving her face.

“Well,well, isn’t she charming.” That was Serpentrix’s first impression when she saw her opponent for the first time. Her snake-like eyes carefully watched Nisa, inspecting every gesture of her body and every expression on her face. Little Miss Do-Good. So brave, so relaxed…but behind that mask there is fear and insecurity of a newcomer. She evaluated her opponent, and once Nisa was in the ring, Serpentrix walked toward her.

She seemed relaxed and non-threatening; with friendly smile, she extended her hand offering Nisa a handshake before the match. “Name’s Serpentrix. Are you ready for debut?” Serpentrix asked. Her voice was pleasant and she spoke English with strong French accent.

She was planning to catch Nisa off guard; she wanted to hold Nisa’s hand as firmly as she could. Serpentrix would then quickly pull Nisa toward her while driving her right knee into Nisa’s belly. If she succeeds, she would try to deliver strong uppercut with her right hand.

The trap sprang and caught Nisa completely unprepared. Serpentrix wasn’t satisfied with the effect – her goal was to knock Nisa down. “This one is stable on her legs. I will have to fix that.” Assassin judged her opponent, seeking out strong and weak spots of her body. Even though she scored the first strike against Nisa, Serpentrix reckoned that she is facing someone skilled and trained, if inexperienced. Tread carefully, expect anything…

This realization caused Serpentrix to be more cautious, but hasn’t affected her attitude. Her mind was again cold and vicious machine, with a strong dose of arrogance. The initial attack happened before the official start of the match. Serpentrix turned her head toward the ref girl and nodded; signalizing that she should ring the bell and announce the beginning of the fight. “She is ready!” ''Frenchwoman" said it with confident, and yet relaxed voice.

The uppercut she delivered dazed Nisa for a moment, and serpent-eyed woman didn’t want to lose this advantage. She hoped that Nisa’s sight was slightly blurred, and  that this will cover her movement, before Japanese girl is able to react. She was about to quickly flank Nisa and deliver a strong stomp-like kick toward the side of Nisa’s knee. Serpentrix would then continue with a punch to the head, aiming it toward the temple.
