Birbie Becky vs Nagana Kōshukei- Faster then a Vice Grip?

Even one of the tail lashes could have seriously hurt Becky if she took the full brunt of the attack! Thanks to Nagana’s control of her lower body the whipping attacks practically filled the air! The tail was almost like a living being itself, chasing Birdie as she narrowly avoided each coil and tensed muscle! The bird woman made it out of the maze-like attack and soared through the air, coming down quickly to swoop at Nagana. The snake bared her fangs as she lunged to grab ahold of her foe with her own hands! But at the last second, Becky turned and flew away clean and free, perching herself on a corner post! Nagana would easily recover from her lunge, turning to face the bird once again with an annoyed look on her scaly face.

“If you’re too scared to fight, you should just give up!” Nagana growled, her irritation clear as day on her face.

“One wrong move and I could seriously hurt you. My reputation is bad enough, I don’t need everyone to think I’m a psycho on top of it!”

Nagana began to slither over once again, clearly not taking Becky seriously. Her guard was down as she approached the tiny bird, thinking speed was the only weapon in her arsenal.

Becky heard Naganas second statement, and...she seemed to freeze up for a moment. Nagana would've seen a strange look on her face as she lunged.

As Nagana got close, Becky would once again suddenly become a blur and disappear around the edge of her Vision.

The next thing she knew, she felt something land on her head, rapidly drilling at her head. It felt like someone was repeatedly jabbing an open pen into her head but extremely fast.

Becky was Mach speed pecking her head!

So far, Becky was quick and annoying, but not much of a threat. Going full force on an opponent like that wasn’t something Nagana was keen on doing given the circumstances, but she only had so much patience. The snake had to find a way to trap the bird without a cage and was trying to formulate a plan as she approached the perched foe. Unsurprisingly, Becky launched off the post and became a quick, gray blur that went straight towards Nagana’s peripheral vision. The snake woman’s tongue slipped through her maw, tasting the air in that split second. She was getting a taste of the bird, tracking her slowly and adjusting her senses accordingly. If Nagana couldn’t move as fast, then she would need to learn to predict the small nuisance.

“Hah?”

Nagana’s tongue tasted the air, helping the snake “smell” Becky. The snake woman peeked up, surprised to see that the tiny bird was exactly where the tongue predicted: right above her! The bird flew down and landed on Nagana’s head, her small nail’s digging into the snake’s hood. Becky’s tiny talons didn’t hurt the snake’s skin, but Nagana figured she must have looked pretty stupid with Becky sitting on her head. Hissing in annoyance, those golden eyes peeked upwards at the bird.

“Hey! Quit playing around and take this-”

Suddenly, a sharp, drilling pain began to bore into Nagana’s head, stopping the snake in her tracks! It felt like she was being stabbed with a sharp needle over and over right on top of her head! Instinctual fear and surprise overtook Nagana as her hiss turned more guttural, sounding like a monster her hands shooting up to swipe the pain away before turning her body on the enemy sitting on her head! The crowd reacted negatively, some pulling back in fear at the reaction of the Naga. It looked like the snake was going to try and bite Becky! But the snake simply rubbed her head and checked for blood.

“What the-? Did you just peck me?”

A small bit of blood was on the snake's finger, confirming Becky had first blood. However, Nagana was laying traps of her own as her lower body began to encircle the ring looking for an opportunity to entrap the small bird!

Becky dodged the swiping arms of Nagana as she flew off and landed on the mat, her small eyes noticing the lower body of Nagana preparing itself for something. She wasn't sure what she would do. Nagana had definitely proven herself faster than she looked. But Becky had the speed advantage!

She locked eyes with Nagana, as she said, "Yes." In a very matter of fact voice, like as if to say "Why wouldn't I have pecked you?"

The tiny little bird fell off Nagana’s noggin like a pile of dirt. Becky just…dropped straight down, right in front of the massive snake. She used her winds to help glide to the floor, but she didn’t seem all that worried about the massive wall of scales and muscles encircling her at the moment. Even her candid answer being a simple “Yes” was spoken so clear and openly that it almost seemed like she thought the question was stupid. Nagana clicked her tongue, watching Becky to see if she was making fun of her, or acting astoundingly matter-of-fact about the entire situation. Deciding it was the latter, the serpent striker decided that Becky was kind of stupid, and calmed down a little as a result.

Without a word, Nagana’s lower body acted like a trap by suddenly cinching Becky! Like a trap rope, her lower body looked to envelop the small bird. While this would have been a dangerous trap to anyone else, Becky had proven she had the speed to avoid it…which was precisely what Nagana was counting on!

Using her body as a funnel, Nagana hoped to strike straight upwards where she thought Becky would pop out to escape! Ensnaring the bird in every direction she could!

The snakey snare trap went in for the encircling kill. The wall of scaly muscles came in fast, and people again gasped, terrified at the idea of what kind of crushing force it would have.

Again Becky seemed to disappear in the walls of scales....and then came out a blur crawling ON the walls, Becky crawling on both hands and legs at a shockingly fast speed, all over Naganas body, as she quickly moved and out of Naganas view behind her tail body.

Nagana’s forked tongue slipped out of her maw and tasted the air. She easily could taste where her opponent was within her rapidly closing snare, and her hovering above the opening in the hopes of trapping the bird once and for all. There was no question that Becky would fall once the serpent got her hands or lower body around her thin feathered frame, but the small avian foe was proving to be a rather elusive target. Rather than shoot straight up as Nagana had thought, the blasted bird was climbing up her coiling body! Like the bark of a tree, Becky’s small nails gripped the hard scales of Nagana’s skin and used them as a foothold to slip right through her grasp! Rather than fly straight up into the snake’s waiting arms, she simply hopped out of the squeezing hug and began to scamper around the snake combatants body like a squirrel exploring a massive tree.

“What are you-?”

The snake hissed, feeling Becky’s tiny weight move around her lower body with each fluttering hop! She rapidly uncoiled herself, tasting the air in quick flicks of her tongue to see just where the speedster was exactly on her tail. Once she was unwound, Nagana sent a quick, cracking motion through her lower body to try and whip the little foe off of her. The game at the delight of the audience, who chuckled at the serpents' antics and failure to deal with an overwhelmingly disadvantaged foe.

The laughter flooded in, and the snake's fists tightened. Her jaw clenched tight, trying to bite back the foul words that were building in her gut as her sharp eyes caught every audience member that laughed at her.

It then happened, that Nagana would catch a glance at the big screen. The audience did too, causing gasps of awe and some more laughs at Naganas expense.

Becky was holding onto the back of Naganas head like some weird backpack! Or a hairdo. Or a parasite.

The screen up above shined and blinked a close up of what was happening in the ring, the crowd's reaction being one of cruel chuckles and laughter. Even the Bakeneko’s smug snicker echoed through the arena, mixing with the laughter of every audience member. There, on the screen was Becky, clinging to Nagana’s hood! It was similar to how some species babies clung to their mothers, and Becky’s cute, small appearance clashed rather aggressively with the natural terror that Nagana exuded. The snake woman was the only one who wasn’t laughing. Her mouth was clenched tight as she glared at the screen. Once again, she viewed just how this world was seen in black and white. She was evil in the eyes of the crowd, a creature that scared them or creeped them out. Being made a fool of was encouraged, and thanks to Becky’s speed and charm, she accomplished it with ease. Everyone loved Becky and Eros, and hated Nagana for doing her job. A job Eros called on her to do, a job Becky herself accepted to continue with.

Nothing is fair. So many hated her for her scales and fangs, and would hope for her defeat or call her a monster if she achieved victory. It was all so very…

Normal.

Nagana exhaled a breath she didn’t know she had been holding in. Her fangs flashed in the overhead lights, already dripping with venom. But rather than give into the want of the audience, give in to their desire to prove them all right, Nagana would use the tip of her tail to swing up and sweep the back of her head, looking to knock Becky loose before Nagana’s temper caught up to her.

Becky's reaction speed allowed her to seemingly stay ahead of Nagana's offense and defense! As the sweeping tail came, she somehow did a front roll over Nagana's head and came, upside down faced, right in Nagana's face.

"Sorry." came out of her beak.
