Sally Gershwin vs Nagana Kōshukei: Strength of all kinds.

DQ Conditions: Special Due to the on the spot nature of the match, fighters are permitted to fight as they see fit, so long as no blood is spilled and no serious injuries are endured.

The ghostly blue light of the digital hologram would illuminate the entirety of the room, giving the entire office space a strange otherworldly appearance. Shapes and creatures born from the shadows and mind seem to grow and waver with every slight movement from the holographic figure as he spoke in an electronic tone of voice. Standing before the figure was a woman in black, bowed low to the ground as their master spoke to them behind a locked door. No one could see or hear them, and knowing who the owner of this office space was, no one would dare try. This conversation had been going for almost an hour, and yet the bowing figure showed no sign of fatigue or pain. With one final acknowledgment, the digital figure would order his will be done, and the Warden would obey. The hologram projector would finally shut off, leaving the office space to be completely shrouded in darkness as the submissive figure finally stood up and smoothed out their uniform. Without a word, the figure would walk through the darkness, unlock her door, and step out into the light.

Eros Zuul…The Head Warden emerged out into the open. Her golden eyes staring out into the empty hallway as her face became a mask that perfectly hid how she felt. Her orders were clear, and they came from none other than her master: The Overseer of Gaia! His orders were absolute to all Wardens, and as his most loyal servant in all of Gaia Eros was determined to make him proud! She had yet to fail him, and was determined to keep up her perfect record as the bakeneko marched towards the SRW gym to recruit some helpers to complete her goal.

Despite the Gym being on the far side of the facility, Eros managed to get there and find a pair of absolutely lovely fighters! With a bit of convincing, Eros managed to get them both to agree to an on the spot match! Promising them double pay certainly helped, but nothing was too expensive for the Overseer’s desires. No matches were scheduled for that day, but the great Overseer had called Eros directly and made a request for one. And the Warden planned on making this impromptu match just as exciting as any normal match would be! Stocking up the audience full of volunteers and staff members, there was already a bustling and excited crowd waiting and watching as video crews began the broadcast to not just Tsubar, but the Overseer himself!

“Welcome everyone! We have a very special match ready for you all tonight because our fighters tonight are both some of the strongest in our roster! Each one has proven themselves in the past by giving us some truly harrowing fights, whether that be taking on the Earthshaker or stopping the Living Bullet! The clash of these two titans is sure to be one for the SRW history books!”

The paid audience cheered and yelled as they were paid to do, acting as a real crowd would in a proper situation as Eros pressed on with her announcer duties. It was a bit strange having to pull this all together in such a short amount of time, but well worth it to entertain the Overseer himself. With a quick glance at her notes, the bakeneko would start up her introductions.

“Introducing first is our resident Serpent Striker~ The snake that managed to catch and crush the living bullet, survive the harsh swamps of Gaia, and still maintain an impressive coil strength few of her species could even hope to replicate! The bone cracking grappler, Nagana~!”

Just as Eros had called out her name, Nagana appeared at the top of her ramp. There was a clearly annoyed expression on her scaly face, probably not too happy to have her workout interrupted for an on the spot fight with some stranger…but the serpent bit her tongue and decided to push on through with Eros’s request anyways. Part of why was the extra pay, which Nagana could certainly use…but most of it was because of who she was fighting. Few would believe it, but Nagana actually paid attention to her fellow fighters. And after hearing about Sally’s previous fights, and how strong she apparently was, the snake woman was keen on testing herself against her.

Without much showmanship, Nagana would slither down the ramp and spring into the ring! Cracking her fists and neck as she moved towards her corner without so much as a glance to the fake crowd. She wasn’t taking part in the fake show, just the fight. Something that might have annoyed the cheerful announcer, but Eros didn’t show any emotion other than her usual excitement!

“And next up is her opponent and a fan favorite! Our lovely heavy hitting heifer who once managed to overpower the Earthshaker, and took down a tiger fighter with majestic flair! A family farm girl at heart, but a true fighter in the ring with near unmatched brute strength! Show some love for Sally Gershwin!”

Nagana would not be the only one that was annoyed at the prospect of having to fight. Sally had been out of commission after fighting the literal mountain that was Hathiya, having been partially bed ridden for a week before recuperating enough to wrestle again. Since then, Sally had only been training and recuperating, only being give a few small minor matches as they were hesitant to throw her back into the fire. Not that they didn't think she could perform anymore, nor to an extent that she was all that injured, shaking off the injuries that she sustained. More, it was keeping her ready to bring her back for the big fights, matches like this where the same muscle and power that she had fighting the large elephant woman can be seen once more.

What annoyed her was the lack of spectacle and the timing, having had plans for the night after working out in the gym. A match meant no night out, instead likely ice bags and eating at some local diner that happened to be open late in the night. However, this was a match, a real match between her and Nagana, a strong grappler that would prove to be a rather competent and tough fighter, enough to catch one of the fastest fighters in the business and come to a standstill fight between one most popular in the whole organization. More than just the money, the opportunity alone was far more than worth it.

Unlike Nagana, while she didn't really smile, Sally still put on a bit of a show as she flex her muscular arms while walking down the ramp. It wasn't a large crowd, more the size of a traditional show from where she was from, having cut her teeth in smaller promotions. It wasn't like this had time to build anyway, with the overseer themself watching from wherever they were. So, as she entered the ring, this composure would continue as she stared off with snakewoman, standing in the corner for a few moments to be checked on once she finished.

Afterwards, Sally would then stand back and away from the corner, moving towards the center to. If Nagana chose to stand before, the town would be standing near face to face. A grin would slowly form on Sally's face, "Ready scales?"

The Serpent Striker flicked her forked tongue as the announcer’s annoying optimistic voice blared over the speakers for a crowd of actual fake fans. Nagana had been told that this entire set-up was just for the Overseer’s sake, a fight for the entertainment of just one guy. Sure he overlooked Tsubar and had a history in Gaia, but Nagana couldn’t help but think this entire thing was petty for someone who was supposedly so important. Did he really have nothing better to do? Didn’t the Wardens or staff members that made up the audience have jobs that needed to get done? The whole thing seemed too indulgent to someone like Nagana, who made her living through hard work and backbreaking effort her entire life. She had to focus on the double pay and just who she was fighting to keep her cold blood from boiling in annoyance.

Soon enough, Eros’ sweet tone would announce Sally to the arena, wherein the bovine brawler would make her appearance.

Nagana had heard about Sally before, and golden snake eyes seemed to lock onto the farm girl as she walked down the ramp. Even from a distance, Nagana’s sharp eyes could scope out Sally’s strikingly muscular form. It wasn’t hard to see why the heads in charge might actually pit her against the Earthshaker as an equal. The flex of her biceps let everyone know that Sally wasn’t just strong, but she was strong for a Bovine! A species well known for their iron wills and strength. Nagana had never had the chance to face a Bovine before, and there was an excited glint in her eye when Sally stepped into the ring.

Amazingly, the farm girl didn’t seem to mind Nagana’s appearance. She stepped right up into the center of the arena, giving Nagana a quick lookover just as the snake woman had from afar. Nagana wouldn’t let her stand alone, and slithered over to meet her in the center of the arena. Upon doing so, Nagana couldn’t help but peel her lips back into a smile! It wasn’t just Sally’s body that was strong. Already, those shimmering blue eyes were meeting the serpents' own without so much as flinching! The snake was a terrifying creature to many cultures and creatures in Gaia, and few could even look in Nagana’s direction. No doubt the Bovine’s iron will at work! Fighting Sally and making her submit would be no easy task!

But a welcomed challenge.

Without noticing, Nagana found Sally grinning right back at her! Her serpent lower body coiled tighter, excitement pumping through her body and blood to the point she had to clench her fists to keep them still!

”More than ready, Farm Girl! I can’t wait to see if you’ll be as impressive as they say~” Nagana hissed through her lethal, venomous smile as she cocked her head to get one last look at Sally on friendly terms!

Then, the serpent would slither back to her corner…getting coiled and ready to strike when the match bell rang, and the fight could commence!

Sally was on equal footing here as it was that both had never faced one of each other's kind before. This match would be a learning experience then for the both of them as they stood on guard, watching the other eye to eye. Indeed, the bovine brawler wasn't seemingly at all disturbed by or scared of her serpentine foe, simply staring back at those yellow slitted eyes with her own blue, right there in the center of the ring. An act of sizing each other up, looking to get an idea of what the other could do as any sort of mind game wasn't going to work much at all with them.

Sally didn't care much for the politicking or for being spooked about some snake folk. Plenty of reptilians like her were back home, ancient folk that were native long before her kinda people came to the land What she cared about was the paycheck and the fight itself. Sure, she wasn't a top draw, essentially seen as some backwoods hick when it came to views on her and her fellow Westovians, but she had muscles and strength far beyond the normal heifer, bull like as it was.

And most importantly, she could fight, and she could fight damn well.

"Good Scales, cause ya gonna have to give me your best ya hear," Sally proudly says, still keeping up that cocky grin. These two were women that wanted to fight and were itching to do it as both went back to their corner. Sally rolling her shoulders, watching and waiting no in her spot as she waited for the bell to ring and begin the match.

Eros watched from up above in her announcers tower. Her smile only grew as her sensitive ears picked up on every word Sally and Nagana exchanged with one another. Each of them were highly competitive fighters, and it seemed they were chomping at the bit to start the fight and see just who of them was the superior fighter. The announcer couldn’t help but feel proud of herself for finding such a perfect pair of fighters for the Overseer on such short notice. While the bakeneko would have loved to prepare a much grander stage for these two to clash against one another, there truly was no greater honor than to be witnessed by the Overseer himself!

Of course, we’ll make a proper profit by adding this match as a special bonus for the next video discs set to release in the next season. An exclusive match witnessed by the Overseer himself would be a wonderful incentive to purchase right off the rack…

With both fighters returning to their corners, Eros would catch on that they were ready to fight. A part of her wanted to tease the fighters and drag on introductions simply to see them squirm! But the responsible side of her knew she had a job to do and an Overseer that needed entertainment. Quickly getting back into character and clearing her throat, Eros’s chipper and happy voice rang through the speakers once again!

“Well with our fighters introduced, I think it's time we give everybody what they want and get this fight started! I’m curious to see who will win, so lets-!”

DING!

The bell cut Eros off mid-sentence! But it was the Bakeneko herself who controlled the bell. She activated the bell to surprise the two fighters. Doubtlessly a small prank to entertain herself and maybe the Overseer if she was lucky. However, she would probably find her prank to be disappointing. Because no sooner did that bell finish its first piercing ring than Nagana shot forward like a bullet!

With all the force of a rushing train, Nagana would strike out and smash her hands against Sally’s own powerful grip! Whether she was ready or not, Nagana seemed determined to test the very limits of Sally’s strength! Using every muscle from the shoulders down to overpower her bovine brawling opponent!

Sally rolled her eyes as she waited for the diatribe to end from the bakeneko, laying her strong arms across the turnbuckle ropes as she waited for the whole speech to end. With so little in the crowd, it was a shame, but of course it was made for the Overseer after all, and while Sally personally didn't like Eros, they were still her boss paying the bills. She just hoped that it was recorded as it was, for the family to watch back home as she liked. When it was felt like they were to prepare, she resumed the stance, never having taken her eyes of the snake woman as she prepared to fight, arms out in a wrestling stance common to Westovia.

The bell ring and both were off, darting forward to meet each other in the ring. Naturally, Nagana was faster in this regard, however, like a raging Bull Sally had thrust herself forward to lock hands with her foe, gripping tight as their test of strength shook the ring, as if the Elephant Hathiya was there herself stomping around in the ring. Sally's eyes were locked, yellow eyes reflecting on her own as the two powerful fighters wowed the crowd assembled there just from the pure intensity of their meeting.

The two were position just a bit off from the center, favoring towards Sally's corner due Nagana's speed. The bovine didn't seem to flinch at all, not budging one bit as the two's strength clashed. What felt like a solid minute would soon turn towards an opening gambit, Sally giving some ground to Nagana, but not out of losing the battle of strength but a rouse to try and set Nagana up so that Sally could switch hand position and wrap her arms around for a headlock. It would be a rest hold that she could work from but relied upon Nagana taking the bait.

The thunderous rupture that came from Nagana and Sally’s grips created a loud echo that sounded like a distant storm to the slightly empty crowd. What little dust managed to accumulate in the ring was blown away by the force of the two fighters meeting in a glorious shot of strength and determination! Despite the serpent's speed, Sally was able to react in time to steel herself and become a fortress of mass and power! Even with the serpent's striking ability, the bovine brawler held her own as the two glared into each other's eyes with unparalleled excitement. Nagana’s hood raised up in excitement, blocking out the lights behind her and making Sally’s blue eyes seem to shine even brighter than before!

For what felt like minutes but were actually seconds, Nagana’s grip remained locked with Sally! Impressively, the bovine didn’t give an inch in their battle of strength! Nagana’s body had not been coiled, but fighting almost sixteen feet of trained muscle wasn’t easy by any means! But Nagana was not going to fold so easily either. Slowly, her long body began to coil beneath her! With every passing second, her base was getting more sturdy and stable. The pressure slowly mounted on Sally, as Nagana’s lower body continued to slowly move underneath the serpent, affording her leverage and a steady foothold! The Serpent Striker was sure that she would sneak out a victory in this test of strength, but remained vigilant to never even once give Sally an opening.

But Sally would make her own. Retreating just a step or two back, Nagana’s coiled body would work against her. Her upper body continued to push against Sally, but the coiled lower body seemed rooted down for the time being! Nagana had planned on steadily pushing Sally down, but the crafty foe made the serpent overreach! With a quick adjustment of her grip, Sally would use Nagana’s strength against her and pull her off to the side in order to wrap her strong arm around Nagana’s head in a sudden headlock! It was a sudden surprise, but Sally would need to work quickly! If given a moment to assess the situation, Nagana would wrap her strong arms around Sally’s waist, and look to use her coiled body as an anchor to help lift the Bovine woman up and over in a snake-bodied version of a German Suplex!

Sally and Nagana were near essentially evenly matched in terms of power and strength, with only the factors of how they got started in this grapple and test of strength leading to one having the edge outright over the other. This edge belonged to none other than the snake woman as she pushed ever so closely to beating out Sally in this contest. The wranglin' heifer was on the back foot now, foot slowly sliding back on the mat as Nagana's curl was proving to be too much just before Sally attempted her gambit. It was there that for a brief moment, Sally had caught Nagana off guard, putting on a headlock as the snake woman had pushed forward with her momentum.

"Gotcha!" Sally gritted her teeth as she tried to keep a hold of her.

It was there that Sally made her mistake as Nagan had other things planned, as literally she'd snake her head out of the hold and behind Sally whom quickly grew to have a surprised look. Arms wrapped around her to hoist her up into the air, weight shifting before being slammed right down into the mat, Sally's shoulders being the first to take the impact of the landing. The heifer would grit her teeth, finding herself on her back, face towards the ceiling.

With a grunt of effort, Nagana succeeded in lifting Sally up off her feet and in a crescent shaped descent! The impact was a heavy thud that actually shook the arena around them, but the serpent striker knew that wasn’t nearly enough to knock Sally out of this race. But it did serve as an excellent introduction as to what Sally would be up against in this fight. Conventional fighting styles didn’t always work against a person whose entire lower body was basically an incredibly strong rope made of muscle that could be used at will! Nagana was already uncoiling her lower body as she slithered over towards Sally’s downed form. A smile twisted her scaly lips, though not out of malice. This was a great chance to show off a little and to test herself against a true powerhouse!

Snagging onto Sally’s horn, Nagana would tug her up into a seated position. She would try to move fast, knowing Sally’s durability would come back to bite her if she didn’t. As fluid as a stream of water, the snake would slip behind Sally and begin to wrap her lower body around her opponents abdomen. All while her own powerful arms wrapped around Sally’s neck, looking to lock in a rear chokehold! Nagana intentionally left the bovine’s arms free, however. A silent challenge to see if she was strong enough to break free from the submission hold, or at least clever enough to spot something Nagana might have missed!

Sally grumbled something unintelligible, shaking her head as she laid there, slowly trying to get up. The wrestling heifer would get aid in such an endeavor however from an unlikely source as she was moved into a seated position with a tug on her horns. Nagana had grabbed on to them as a way to keep hold of her, positioning her into a way that she wanted. The submissionist was aiming to wear her down and then made it so, wrapping her arms and body around the heifer before slowly attempting to choke her out.

Nagana as well would find Sally just as durable as expected, fighting back against the snakewoman as their strength was tested against one another. Sally was able to push the arm off the neck, letting her breath as normal, but it was still a fight pushing off the arm entirely. Her legs would shuffle around in the seated position, appearing to try and find a way to bring herself back up to her feet once more without the use of her hands; anything to not fall back on the mat as it was.
