AV 21 Entropy Championship - Harumi Hazami (c) vs Samantha Ironside

That was closer than Samantha would ever want to admit. Harumi was a powerful warrior, and even Samantha, with a history of beating the crap out of everyone to step front of her, took some good damage from those blows, and didn't like the idea of getting cracked in the face by the Entropy Champion again.

Now that she had Harumi down on the mat, Samantha sneered down at her before charging towards the ropes, bouncing off of them and rebounding towards the fallen Harumi, the big woman leaping as high as she could into the air over the camphions body, spreading her legs to try and land ass first on Harmui's chest!

Harumi remained stationed on the floor, Samantha’s drop hit her like a truck! In a quick and simple attack Samantha had Harumi reeling! The Judoka had taken some awful hits before by some of the strongest fighters in the AFW league, both with and without weapons. Nothing had left her like this so early in the fight. Her abdominal muscles were screaming from the blow, barely able to keep what little she had for breakfast down as Harumi rolled over onto her side. The champion's emerald eyes were squeezed shut as she grinded her teeth together to keep from moaning in pain. The Queenpin hadn’t been in the AFW league long, but it was rapidly becoming clear as to how she had established such an infamous reputation.

Harumi wanted to rest for a few seconds longer, but after hearing Samantha sprint the other direction, she knew she couldn't. There was only one reason the champ could think of that would make Samantha run the other direction, and it wasn't anything good! Opening her eyes, she caught Samantha rebounding off the ropes, confirming Harumi’s suspicions as the large woman rocketed towards her with stunning speed. In a single breath, Samantha was in the air, descending on Harumi like a meteor about to hit the earth! In a move that probably saved her life, Harumi quickly rolled to the left, just barely avoiding the certain doom that slammed into the floor next to her!

“Tsk! A little too close!” The champion growled to herself, fighting through the pain to try and get back up to her feet before Samantha could recover!

Samantha had high hopes as she rebounded off the ropes. The Queenpin had, many times, landed this legdrop, and had come to know what to expect from the landing by this point. A soft body under her thigh, which usually crumbled under her weight, especially if she dropped the leg on their breasts like she often liked to do just to hurt her opponents.

But this time...was different. Harumi, making a very smart choice, bolted out from under the bigger woman and left nothing but empty mat for her to land on, getting a loud "HOOFH!" out of the big woman as she crashed and burned, the Queenpin already scrambling to try and shift her weight and position so she could get back to her feet, left exposed thanks to the champions dodge!

If Harumi was a rapier, then Samantha was probably a sledgehammer. A large, unyielding force of power that just might break the smaller champion if she got too distracted or unfocused. The judoka had just managed to escape what would have been a visit to the ER had Samantha’s plan come to fruition. Instead, the challenger was crashing into the floor with a surprising amount of force that rocked the ring violently! Harumi almost hesitated getting up again, but her training was taking over. Samantha was already climbing back up to her feet, the Queenpin quick to recover and no doubt planning something cruel to get back at Harumi. In the blink of an eye, Harumi was on Samantha, waiting for the large woman to just start to get to her feet before appearing in front of her like a mirage and launching a knee right below the Queenpin’s chin! The blow came out and the flash of a knife and had the force of a lightning bolt behind it! Harumi clearly did not take any chances with this newcomer, and thus became one of the smarter opponents Samantha had fought as a result!

This was a first. Samantha had fought smaller opponents before, lighter ones who could avoid her stronger attacks, and fire back with attacks of their own into her. Usually however, the big woman had enough girth and toughness to simply tank her opponents attacks and shrug off what little damage they could do.

Harumi though...she was different for sure. This girl could do damage.

And Damage she did do, a knee suddenly smashing into Samantha's chin before she could recover from her missed legdrop attempt, the impact hard enough to flatten the Queenpin right down onto her back!

The terrible sound of flash cracking against bone was a sharp sound that only Harumi and her opponent shared. In one speedy movement the judoka managed to land another solid hit against the Queenpin of AFW! This was probably the most vicious the silent samurai had ever been, clearly trying to take Samantha down in record time! Perhaps the audience might have guessed Harumi’s strategy was to defeat Samantha before the giant had time to use any of her tricks or dirty tactics on the smaller champion? But in reality, Harumi just wanted to stomp out another vicious heel that she seemed to attract unintentionally. Something told the silent samurai that the skull faced woman outside the ring would become an issue eventually. Maybe she could be dissuaded if Samantha were finished quickly.

With Samantha finally going down, Harumi had a  very short break to try and come up with what to do next. Samantha had proved herself to be durable, and getting too close to someone with such immense strength could prove to be dangerous, Harumi didn’t want to become a repeat of Samantha’s performance against Vespa. So, the judoka decided on a target.

Moving down, Harumi quickly swiped up Samantha’s right ankle, looking to roll the heavy woman onto her side. Harumi was already settling Samantha’s ankle into the crook of her arm, wrapping her legs around the Queen pin’s leg and dropping down for a leg lock submission. With a simple twist, Harumi cranked Samantha’s ankle to a painfully sharp angle as her own powerful legs began to squeeze Samantha’s limb!

“Feel like tapping, Ms. Ironside?!”

Regardless of how big a person was, a knee to the face was still a knee to the face, several bright flashes filling her vision as she took the blow, the big woman falling all the way down onto the mat, leaving her groaning and rubbing her face for several moments, shaking her head as if she could shake off the damage, or at least the lingering throbbing in her head and clear her vision, either of which would be enough.

For now though, she was down, she was stunned, she couldn't even really see, and that gave the Entropy Champion an opening she took full advantage of, Samantha's big leg caught and squeezed tightly by Harumi's legs, her ankle trapped and painfully twisted and jerked hard to the side, getting a pained howl from Samantha's lips, the referee girl coming in close as Harumi asked if she wanted to submit.

"AHHHH! NO! HELL NO!"

OK, forget whatever Samantha had thought earlier about this woman maybe being worthy of respect for being able to do damage. Now she was actually HURTING The Queenpin, and is was really starting to piss her off!

Despite how well she was doing, Harumi was no fool. She knew Samantha’s kind and had seen this woman in action before. Samantha only needed a single opening to capitalize on in order to turn the tide in her favor, and the Queenpin had a nasty habit of seriously injuring opponents when things swung her way. Scars, broken bones, missing teeth. And those were the lucky ones. The Entropy Champ might not have a grasp on technology, but rumors spiraled around Samantha and the underground fights she participated in. It was money and intimidation that got her here in this ring, a predator invading a new territory for fresh prey to consume.

Unfortunately for Samantha, predators like her had been here for a while now. Harumi had clashed against many of them and learned from every one of them. How they think, how they fight. How they got revenge for the most petty of inconveniences. If Samantha was stubborn enough to endure this, chances are she wouldn’t submit even if Harumi broke the ankle she was straining. That made this a fight to the finish. And the Silent Samurai easily transitioned into that state of mind.

With one last painful jerk, Harumi made sure that Samantha wouldn’t walk without a limp for a good week before releasing her. She had built up a good amount of momentum, but knew the consequences of getting greedy. Instead, the Samurai would retreat towards the ropes, gesturing for Samantha to follow in a condescending “Come” motion. Looking to make the Queenpin try and walk with her now injured leg to drag on the heel’s stamina even further.

Samantha was getting very, VERY, angry at this turn of events. As with every match, she had planned on coming in and SMASHING down Harumi like she smashed down everyone she dealt with in the ring, and yet, the champion insisted on holding her own and actually putting up a competitive fight, which is the very last thing Samantha ever wanted. Few things enraged her like a lesser opponent THINKING they were somehow equal and could stand against her on her terms.

While still reaching for the ropes, stubbornly refusing to give up to this irritating gnat, Harumi let go of the hold, backing away and giving Samantha the room to get back to her feet. It took some time, as she had to recover from the pain in her foot before forcing her big body back up to her feet, wincing as she put weight on the injured ankle.

So that was her plan. Son of a bitch. Wear her out, make her carry her own weight with an injured foot, and use that to take her out?

Let her try.

Stubborn and angry, Samantha did exactly what Harumi wanted, responding to her "come hither" motion by limping her way over to the Entropy Champion, intending to show the smaller woman that cheap little "strategies" like that wouldn't be enough to stop her!

Samantha was proving to have not just a short fuse, but a rather predictable persistence to her anger as well. Just like some of the other heels Harumi had faced prior, Samantha seemed more inclined to injure her opponent than to actually assess the situation like a reasonable person. Despite her injured leg, the Queenpin’s pride would push her forward like a lumbering zombie to chase after the silent samurai who was like a phantom just beyond Samantha’s grip. With speed on her side, Samantha’s outstretched claws would only just barely touch the moving shifting air Harumi left behind as she evaded the Queenpin's ruthless swipes. Whether the Queenpin was conscious of it or not, she was being led around the ring, forced to put weight on her bad leg more and more as her pride served to damage her body.

A few minutes more of this would serve to use up Ironside’s stamina and leave her open for further attack. Harumi was already focusing on her opponent's body, trying her best to pinpoint which point would be best to target. Should she continue on the damaged leg? Perhaps shake Samantha’s head with a blitz kick? A defeat by a thousand cuts was the best way to take down a heel like Samantha. Using the Queenpin's pride and ego against her in order to ensure victory.

Just as Harumi was about to move back into the fight, something strange happened. The samurai moved to intercept the Queenpin, but the judoka would find one of her legs unresponsive, trapped by an unknown grip! Harumi’s emerald eyes widened in surprise as her head flicked around, cursing herself for what she saw. The Skull-faced woman that came with Samantha was staring at her, holding the Judoka’s ankle in place with a tight grip! Harumi had faced a variety of heels, but none of them ever had help! And in that flash of a second, Harumi knew she would pay for her miscalculation!
