Re: Lu Zhou Yi vs. Hong Jun
Yi quickly pulled herself from the wreckage, not wishing to be anywhere near Jun when she re-oriented herself. The historian crawled away quickly to the folded tables at the steel fence that seperated wrestlers from crowd. Pulling herself up on the folded tables reminded her of the punch that landed much earlier. Very slowly, she would work this table towards the ring, sliding it in under the bottom rope if Jun gave her enough time.

Re: Lu Zhou Yi vs. Hong Jun
Jun stayed sprawled on the broken table for a while before slowly her hand moved up to her face to gently squeeze her eyes with her thumb and index finger. Jun started to sit up very slowly, groaning out softly before she opened her eyes and gaze over at the ring and noticed Yi near it, slowly starting to stand up to get ready again, though her back was killing her.

Re: Lu Zhou Yi vs. Hong Jun
Yi rolled into the ring and stood on the folded table once Jun was up and moving about. It was a matter of personal dignity that she not show her opponent her weaknesses. The historian fought to control her breath and stand with perfect posture. Feet were close together in her strange fighting stance. An open palm was offered to her opponent, as though she had been waiting hours for Jun to get up off of her arse and start fighting. Lady Lu fought to keep a stoic appearance, though the dampness of sweat causing strands of black hair to cling to her face and the rise and fall of her chest was evident even through her red coveralls made this facade particularly difficult to maintain. Behind her back, she rotated her left wrist, trying to find exactly how to move it to make it hurt so that she could avoid it in the coming sortie.
She only needed to put Lady Hong through two more tables.

Re: Lu Zhou Yi vs. Hong Jun
Jun had to ignore the pain and redict it elsewhere otherwise she wouldn't be able to keep up at all. She mumbled something in Chinese to herself, her eyes widening slightly to make them more normal instead of the half closed state she had put them in. Jun stood back up straight and tilted her head to the side to glare straight at Yi. She was going to show her that Jun was only going to be much more stronger if she was was feeling more pain, it was just an extra method to get the adrenaline flowing. Jun brought her hand up and gently stroked her fingers through her red hair. closing her eyelids for just a moment as she immidiatly regained her composure, bringing both her hands to her sides and prepared herself once more, letting the pain sink in for a few more moments, which was still lingering within her lower back before she'd taking her steps towards the ring and roll underneath the lower ropes, immidiatly putting her gaurd back up as she rose to both feet, not shifting her eyes away from Yi.

Re: Lu Zhou Yi vs. Hong Jun
That had to be a facade. No way Jun could have been sent through a table and walk away from it that determined. Was she afraid? No. Fear is simply the killer of minds. Magma red eyes remained fixated on her opponent as she was joined in the ring. Yi would again shift to more of an attrition based defense. Jun simply showed too much might to be conquered directly. Ribcage, arm, right leg, back... These were Yi's new targets as they were Jun's weak points.

Re: Lu Zhou Yi vs. Hong Jun
Jun let her index and middle finger twitch from her right hand as she got into her stance, it was time she showed just why she should back off right now. Jun had a plan and wondered if she could out outsmart the strategist. She suddenly gripped her right hand into a fist and charged straight towards Yi and brought her right hand back as if ready to aim another punch at the girl's face but then at the final steps close to Yi, Jun suddenly twisting her body so the side of her body was facing Yi, pulling her right arm into a defensive position near her ribs, wanting to confuse Yi before she'd move her body to the side and slam her left fist straight towards Yi's face.

Re: Lu Zhou Yi vs. Hong Jun
Why did her opponents always charge? The timing for a counter was so easy to figure out! As Jun came closer with her right fist raised, yi saw the opening that deserved an attack. She spun clockwise 360 degrees, raising her right leg at the last moment to send the heel of this foot into Lady Hong's exposed chest and ribs. In theory, the momentum of the attack should have been enough to knock Jun off balance or even shatter the facade of strength.
A fraction of a second was all she needed to take her eyes off of Jun for. A fraction of a second as she spun... And that was all Jun needed to spring her true attack. Yi's heel no longer aimed to collide with rib, but rather a defensive arm. The arm could absorb much of the shock and not transmit it to the rest of the body... which meant the pain Yi inflicted would be isolated in the right arm, rather than the whole body. Not a fair trade off.
Then there was the left hand punch. Yi barely had a moment to become cognizant of it just before it landed squarely with her jaw. Had she been standing with both feet on the ground, she might have been able to keep standing after the collision... But since she was one legged mid spin counter to the direction of the punch the blow was actually augmented, sending her head (and a few milliseconds later her torso) in a counter clockwise spin. Off balance, this caused her to land face and stomach first on the mat... Her knees and feet still resting on that folded table she brought into the ring.
What was she doing here again?

Re: Lu Zhou Yi vs. Hong Jun
Jun quickly moved back and got back into her stance, deciding not to follow up with an momentum to further damage Yi. Jun turn to walk over towards the table and leaned down to pick it up, starting to unfold the table to make it stand firm on the ring. With a twirl she stands tall and looking down at Yi, wondering how long she'd take to stand back up.
Deciding it was long enough Jun moved in and tried to grab Yi by the hair to force her up on her feet, if possible she'll immidiatly bring Yi's arm over her head and moving her own over Yi's head and would then move a little into a crouching stance before using her strength to try and lift Yi up and fall backwards with Yi's back crashing into the table.

Re: Lu Zhou Yi vs. Hong Jun
As Lu Zhou Yi laid upon the mat, her mind raced to make sense of it's current location. All she knew was a dull buzzing around her and darkness
She could taste iron. Iron was in the blood, which would explain the thick fluid that was slowly filling her mouth. Iron in the blood is why most animals, like sharks, did not prefer to eat humans. The taste was simply disgusting. Which is why she was happy to feel it slowly drain out of her lips and onto the mat when she opened her jaw only slightly. The only problem was that she became suddenly very aware of her right jaw. It wasn't something she was normally aware of, which made the feeling all the more unwelcome. She had been punched. Why had she been punched? Did she punch the person back?
She had a full body which she found strange she couldn't entirely account for. She knew pain along her arms, and her body was spotted with marks that screamed in either agony or exhaustion. Why was she so banged up? The dull buzzing began to focus more, it was cheering from a crowd. Eyes opened, and she saw the small puddle of red blood she had been leaking from her mouth. She was Lu Zhou Yi. This was a friction match. She had taken a rather vicious blow to the head. Her opponent was unaccounted for...
Negate that, two long black strands of pig tails were grasped by an unknown force. It wasn't the referee, a referee wouldn't be so rough. It had to be her opponent, Hong Jun? Yes. She was being pulled by the hair to stand up. It hurt, she growled her discontent like an animal. Probably wouldn't help. The historian could recognize that her head was being wrapped up in an arm... and that her arm was around her opponent's head?
Yi was easily lifted into the air by Jun, still disoriented. Mid air, her vision became very acute. She could see the crowd, able to pick a few faces out of the crowd... they seemed very excited. As she crashed through the table, she screamed... she may have cursed. On the floor now, she groaned and reached to hold her hurt spine. Her body rocked on the floor, but already she was becoming very aware of her surroundings.

Re: Lu Zhou Yi vs. Hong Jun
Jun's already injured back hit the mat, reuniting her with the pain she managed to ignore up untill now. Her arm immidiatly pulled back from Yi's head as she managed to slam the girl through the table, rolling away rather quickly before Yi could return any sort of offensive strike while Jun was laying closed to her and quickly stood back up on her feet.. Which was a big mistake. The moment she stood up straight she could feel her muscles tensing and increasing the pain within her lower back and feet, leaning back against the turnbuckle she was standing behind and used the precious time given from her own attack to once again force the pain deeper and able to ignore it once more.
It was hard for Jun and it was only intensifying the adrenaline that repeatedly pumped within her body. On the mat was her opponent Yi who was no doubt in pain, which pleased Jun even though she wasn't showing it. Even though she could get a great advantage over to fallen Yi by mounting her and giving her a barrage of more punches in the face.. But that wasn't going to be a plan for her. If Yi had dressed like a whore or was a heel, she would have done it without even caring about the pain she was bearing but Yi was someone who was alot more challenging then anyone else she had faced, which was going to be either Jun's downfall or the Dragoness's flight to the top.
Jun's eyelids narrowed for a moment as she brought her arms behind her back and stood straight up, glaring down at her opponent with a strict look and waited patiently for Yi to stand back up, Jun's stance seemed like someone waited for a punch but instead it was one of her true stances, made to surprise her opponent whenever they would attack or come close, something that was decieving but most of all.. Something Jun could work with. She hadn't use it upon anyone in the AFW except now, because she knew Yi was able to deflect most of Jun's strong attacks, which made agility and technique now Jun's main priority. The dragoness was focussing more on her pain then her opponent though, trying her best to keep the pain that was spreading with her body, at a minimal while maintainng a scare crow like look down at her opponent, not taking her eyes off Yi.
Just a few thoughts ran through the Dragoness's head.. Would she be able to trick Yi again like she did just now and earn another victory? Should she now focus on her own defenses rather then attacking? Yi was too unpredictable to make choices and trying to counter someone like Yi would be like trying punch a bee that would only sting in retaliation. Jun decided on something... She did have to make sure she could counter atleast one of Yi's attacks to follow up with quick combination strikes, pain was not going to slow her down when Adrenaline could only double her reflexes and that was something Jun had to keep activated within her system and the only way she could do that is if Yi would stance back up swiftly and resume the match.
