Showdown VI: Scalliwags/Kairi Kamiya vs Gwendolyn/Dominion: 3 vs 3 Tag Team Match

With chaos ensuing around the ring, Jacob's head smacking against Ryo and the latter falling to the ground. In the ruckus, Kairi would go for the pin but yet again the Perfect Storm managed to kick out of the pinfall and the two wrestlers went for their respective corners. The brunette female quickly tapped in Edward who jumped in and was ready to go.

Meanwhile, Jacob would stagger into his corner and tag in Gwendolyn, allowing the noble blueblood to finish what she started with the Scalliwags.

The abject idiocy on display was not lost on Gwendolyn either. An emphatic pinching on the bridge of her nose as she scrunched her eyes all aided in sparing the heiress from witnessing her teammate's inane bickering with Ryo as to what logistically constitutes a garment as being deemed a "speedo", or not. The lady members of their respective teams each sharing one common attribute now aside from their gender in their mutual disdain at the topic of conversation, but Gwendolyn channeled her irritated vexations into compulsory initiative as she witnessed her partner unsteadily retreating towards their corner turnbuckle after the blindsiding dropkick from Kairi for a tag-in that she welcomed and eagerly reciprocated upon.

Gwendolyn stepping inside the ring with an aura of smug pomposity and noble-minded grace, crossing one sublime leg across the other with an elegant sway to her hips whilst circling the ring alongside her freshly tagged in adversary. Intentionally stifling the upticked tempo of the match back to a methodical crawl as her hazel-eyes appraised the pony-tailed blonde. "Hmph. Spare me whatever flirtatious prattle you've assuredly concocted by now. You would be saving your breath and my exceedingly precious time. Of which I'd preferably spend enacting due vengeance upon both yourself and your obnoxious buffoon of a partner..." Gwen snobbishly shared in the preamble before stepping forward in faux lock-up attempt, instead adjusted into a twisting arm wringer once she gets a grip on Edward's wrist.

For whatever it was worth, Ed thought the entire "speedo" conversation was stupid too.

Upon being tagged in by Kairi, her palm slapping his, Edward grabbed the top rope and used to for leverage as he jumped clear over the top rope and landed on his booted feet in the ring, the blond scotsman carefully eyeing Gwendolyn as she got into the ring and walked towards him, looking every bit like the beautiful and dangerous empress she was as she glared his way and made it clear he was in no way allowed to flirt with her.

"Heh. Not a problem. I'm not really good with any of that stuff. Ryo's the flirt, not me, and while you are...ridiculously beautiful, I'm not deluded enough to think I'm your type anyway." Ed replied back, attempting to sound confident despite his nerves in facing such an elite opponent.

Falling for her lock up offer, he moved closer to her and reached out to lock up as expected, only for her to grab his wrist and twist his arm with it, successfully faking him out. But Ed wasn't a prodigy for no reason, and after a few seconds of grunting and getting his footing together, the young scotsman would twist his body the appropriate direction to un-wring his arm, before quickly grabbing at Gwen's wrist in order to twist her arm, giving the taller blonde a taste of her own medicine!

"Gotcha! Point for Sealgair!"

Satisfied that common understandings were established between them in regards to uncouth fraternization's, the prudish blueblood could allow herself to concentrate solely on thwarting these impish rapscallions and exact due vengeance for degrading her resplendent Tension debut into cake slathered chaos. A refined smirk illuminating her lips when having her illustrious beauty praised, but moreso taking note of Edward possessing a modicum of civility. Unlike his cohort. Gwendolyn admittedly preferring arm-wringers as a mainstay in her repertoire due to how it compels adversaries to bow in acknowledgement of her beauteous grappling prowess~...

Irksomely though, her opening gambit resulted in the exact opposite as the agile rapscallion seamlessly reversed the contortion in his arm and reapplied the arm-wringer upon the befuddled heiress. Gwendolyn arched herself over with a flinching grimace from the needled pangs within her shoulder, but acrobatically cartwheeling in her own graceful reversal of the arm wringer. Afterward elegantly leg swiping Edward's feet out from under him and promptly covering him for an impromptu pin attempt. One that was more intended as a fitting rebuttal than in any actual belief it would result in her victory. "Two points - Bettencourt~..." Gwendolyn primly uttered, his leg hooked in the air and swelled softness settled against his toned chest.

Despite his luck in managing to counter Gwens arm counter, but he was fighting a former Entropy and Tag Team Champion after all, one of the most famous and biggest stars in all of Friction, and he really should have known better than to think that would hold her at all.

Within seconds, she had him flat on his back, her bust pressing softly on his chest, and his leg hooked in the air for a pin attempt. Luckily, he kicked out well before the "2" count, breaking the pin and rolling away from Gwen before hopping up to his feet, smiling and actually clapping, applauding Gwen for the pin attempt.

"That was really impressive! You're every bit as sharp and talented as I've heard, I'm really sorry I ever doubted your skill!" He exclaimed, getting excited to get back into things, while Kairi just rolled her eyes and shook her head at the excited blonde complimenting his opponent.

Gwendolyn scarcely imagined her unexpected pin attempt would garner victorious dividends, and therefore expressed naught but self-satisfied smugness upon Edward's inevitable upheaval and scrambled retreat. She merely intended it to be an appropriate rebuttal towards Edward's presumption that attaining grappling points against the posh heiress would be as seamless as he was beginning to portray. A sophisticated retort for their wrestling tête-à-tête, albeit one from which she certainly didn't expect to receive ovation. The audience members following along in Edward's prompting in applauding approval for the genuine grappling expertise on display within the ring before them.

Gwendolyn balked from the undeniably foreign sensation of the peasantry clamoring in jovial merriment in support of her, the regal aristocrat scanning the arena in disbelief before returning her frazzled attention back towards the fellow blonde. "Hmph!!! An apology best proclaimed were you knelt in humble servitude at my feet. However, in my abundant generosity, I deem this an acceptable attempt." Gwendolyn prudishly huffed out with her nose upturned and a flick of her golden curls, the slight blush on her facials hopefully going unnoticed. As well as her attempt to perform a high-angled Sobat Kick into his breadbasket as she approaches and begins to grapple with Edward once more.

Edwards life was so damn weird. He was usually terrified of interacting with people, so naturally, interacting with people who wanted to beat the crap out of him should have been petrifying. Yet, somehow, the actual "trying to beat each other up" portion of things actually kind of helped calm those nerves.

While Edward was a bit on the naive side, he wasn't an idiot, and the student of Valley Doll knew better than to lower his guard as he approached Gwen for a lock up attempt, as she was more than known for having a trick or 10 up her sleeves, and those quick reflexes and instincts saved him, as he was able, just barely, (and with a loud swear in the process), able to back step quick enough to be out of range of Gwen's kick, her foot sailing past and only just grazing the edge of his stomach with her boot.

Still in surprise, either at the speed of Gwen's attack or his own speed in managing to avoid it, Ed was quick to follow up with a kick of his own, throwing his body down into a forward roll, and as his legs rolled forward, he'd stick one leg straight out, trying to smash his heel into Gwen's chest with one of his favorite counters, a rolling Koppu Kick!

Accustomed though Gwendolyn was to being swathed in the fawning admiration of the lowborn and wearing it like glimmering jewelry, a personal peccadillo that ruffles her metaphorical feathers is when the polite gesture serves to rectify an earlier misconception the opulent heiress may have held. Edward's gentlemanly reverence and polite demeanor being exceptionally far removed from the rambunctious scoundrel that was his tag-team partner. Vexing Gwendolyn at the mere notion of having to acknowledge any type of judgmental misunderstanding on her part, and as a woeful result, a reevaluation of the blonde-haired one’s entire character altogether.

*Tch...* Sucking her pearly whites in irritation from having narrowly succeeded in her subterfuge, Gwendolyn spied the elusive Edward from the corners of her hazel brown eyes sidestepping out of the strike zone that was his breadbasket. The sophisticated socialite steadying herself afterward, but returning her attention back to Sealgair brought a perplexing visual of her adversary barreling towards her until the reasoning behind it struck her right alongside his extended foot cracked right in her royal abundance. Yelping shrilly as she started backpedaling into the nearest corner turnbuckle, standing upright but sunken against it with an arm hugging her stricken bosom.

Edward loved the Koppu Kick, ever since he had first seen Valley Doll pull one of in one of earliest AFW matches. He had practiced that one for a VERY long time to get it right. It was a great offensive, but also had defensive benefits, and, as Gwen just learned, was often a great choice of counter attack.

His elation at hitting the move faded however, as his momentum from the forward roll allowed him to roll onto his feet and hop back up for a follow up attack...instead turned into him blushing brightly and awkwardly rubbing the back of his head as he realized he had, purely by accident, struck the lovely Gwendolyn in the titty with his kick, much to the enjoyment of the laughing and cheering audience!

"Oh gosh, geez, I really am sorry about that!" He said awkwardly, not sure how much free time he should allow the woman for his accidental choice of target. Here he was hoping he could somehow charm her into at least not being mad at him for the speedo incident, and now he kicked her in the boob.

"Nice going Ed, break the nice ladies rack why don't you!" Ryo, now back to a standing position and climbing the apron again, yelled to his best friend and sometimes bed-partner, while Kairi just shook her head and face palmed in embarrassment.

"...I swear these two aren't with me..."

The debauched desires and sinful lechery of the crowing masses would avail them when they perversely pined for a wardrobe malfunction in the midst of this mat based mayhem. The fact that Edward learned it from a former adversary of hers in Valley Doll perhaps being a touch of cosmic kismet from Gwen's victory over her. Gwendolyn being unaccustomed to the unorthodox assault and was therefore caught unawares by the extension of Edward's leg smacking her to a searing smack against her bountiful breasts. A target few could necessarily fault Edward for striking considering how naturally...voluptuous, and rather prodigious this particular aspect of the regal heiress was. Evidenced by the rather absurd jiggle perpetrated from his maneuver as Gwendolyn seethed with a retreating backpedal and girlish scream against the fortunately placed corner turnbuckle. Settling against the padded corner with an arm cradling her chest in hissed discomfort.

"...Grrr..." Not one who appreciates being made an abject fool of lightly, Gwendolyn directed her hazel eyed ire at the profusely apologizing Sealgair across the ring from her. Golden ringlets swathed over her malicious facials until she swiped them out of her line of sight to reveal the emblazoned fire within. But taking a calming breath that seemingly assuaged her sweltering temper. A second spared to regain her composure and adjust her outfit around her bust before elegantly striding towards Edward. A regal gait to her steps and natural sway to her hips with a beguiling smile on her heavenly lips. "Oh, a trifling mishap. Nothing you need concern yourself with. However...have you misremembered what I mentioned earlier in regards to apologies?~..." A question Edward may not have much time to think on considering Gwen would sprint the last few steps towards him, clasping the back of his head with her legs tucked in for an attempted double knee facebuster.
