Strategy: Lita’s guitar - a Duesenberg Starplayer II - is her spell focus, and she casts sound based spells by playing it at various intensities. The more passionately she plays it, the more powerful the spells she can use and the faster she can rattle them off. This has some advantages and drawbacks - she doesn’t have to call out names or even speak to cast spells, they can get quite powerful, and she can typically fire them off faster than most witches can speak. However, they do require the user of both her hands, which means that, if she can’t use them both for whatever reason, she loses a big part of her moveset. She is not completely helpless without casting spells, as Dio - the hat on her head - lends her some of his power to increase her durability and strength, along with a light ability to heal her wounds, but even so, she can’t take too many more hits than any normal human would be able to.

As such, most of her strategy relies on movement and playing keepaway. The guitar is effective indestructible, making it a good bludgeon at close range, but that’s a last-resort tactic.

...sonic blasts.:

Lita can expel powerful sound blasts, either concentrated in certain directions or expelled all around her in all encompassing waves. She can also create generate close-range sonic explosions by striking things with her guitar, which is virtually indestructible.

...emotion control.:

Lita’s magic can effect minds depending on what she plays, evoking emotions. For instance, softer, slower music can make listeners sad and lethargic, while harder rifts can make them aggressive and combative. How much it affects those around her depends on how long they hear what she plays and how weak-willed they are. At her best, she can make a crowd riot or put them to sleep.

...mimicry.

Lita can control sound to a point where she can mimic things like someone’s voice or other noises. This requires a bit of concentration on her part and doesn’t have much use in combat, though it can make a good evasion tactic and distraction.

...sonar.:

Lita’s hearing is sensitive, and strumming her guitar can give her a read on the environment, allowing her to use echolocation. She still relies on her sight to get around, but she doesn’t need to. She’s capable of maneuvering about even in total darkness. It’s also worth noting that she’s immune to the effects of her own music - she could deafen those around, but that same noise won’t hurt her in the slightest.

...portal creation.

With the right rift, Lita can create portals that allow her to instantly travel over long distances. These are mostly for her convenience, however, since they take a little while to manifest, too slow to be much use in combat. She can also summon the guitar to her hands at any time, from any distance, though this does take some concentration on her part.

...flight.:

Lita’s guitar doubles as her spell focus and broomstick, allowing her to flight through the air or make short, quick dashes in any direction. The only drawback is that she can’t play the guitar and fly at the same time, meaning she has to stop flying to cast a spell.

Personality

Whatever Lita was before, she is no more - now, she’s a being of chaos and vice. She takes pleasure in dismantling her foes, ripping them apart and destroying them, and it seems like the more destruction she creates, the more she wants to destroy. A creature of appetites, she seeks pleasure in all things, with an unbridled lust for combat. It’s impossible to tell how much the Hat is influencing her actions, if it’s controlling her or merely bringing out the demon she had inside all along.

That isn’t to say that she can’t be bargained with - she hungers for more power and control, and the possibility for more is always of interest to her. But those trying to gain Lita as an ally should be weary - she has no true allegiance, and will inevitably go where things are most favorable to her current agenda.

History:

Lita was born among the Salem, a group of witches living in exile within the tree of the Black Mountains. Separated from the rest of the world, they practiced dark, forbidden arts, free from the pressures and whims of society. While many women in her family were blessed with a high magical aptitude, these special talents always alluded Lita - for whatever reason, her powers barely manifested, and it seemed like she was always destined to be a low-level user.

She maintained a happy veneer on the outside, all smiles, and she took up an apprenticeship to become the village’s storekeeper. Inside, however, she couldn’t hide a certain resentment, hating that others were given what she saw as hers by right, a power that she couldn’t dream of. There was little she could do, however, and she was on the verge of accepting a life of mediocrity.

That was when she learned about the Hat.

An ancient relic, it was locked away in the vaults of their storage. A cursed thing, it was said to be able to amplify a magic users powers to insane levels, to the point where it would tear their bodies apart, and it was forbidden from being used. Lita, after intense study, concluded that it acted as a multiplier, amplifying magical inherent magical powers past physical limits - a danger for most, but for someone with only minimal powers, it would force them up to manageable levels and be less of a danger. A wild theory, and there was only one way to prove it.

She snuck in. She took it. She tried it on.

One hour later, and the entire village was burning. Lita stood in the midst of the ruins, surrounded by death. In the midst of it all, Lita stood. Transformed. A new woman, with a cruel smile etched into her face. She laughed, a soft and wistful noise, before she disappeared into the smoke and flames…

Ever since then, Lita has popped up a different points and times within the realms, sometimes aiding others in their plans, sometimes seeking her own ends. It's unclear what her overall goals are, or if she even has any. All that can be certain is that wherever she goes, chaos follows.
