Rena vs Lita

Rena walked out of the entrance, with all smiles and hand waves. It was her debut fight, but she was no new girl to the wrestling game as it appeared a fair amount of her fans were filling the seats today. Dressed in her classic battle bikini. The silver lined black outfit clung tightly to her body and went with the motions.

Hoping over the red ropes and into the ring. She took her corner as her music started to simmer down and the camera's focused back to the entrance where Lita was going to make her entrace.

It was going to be nice facing another girl with long hair, and a similar height body shape to hers. Lets just hope Lita can put up a fight as good as Rena can. Because she was looking to give a good first impression to the AFW.

The past couple of matches haven't gone Lita's way. Coming up short in her most recent bout, which if one thinks about it was still a better result than getting literally batted by an opponent who nobody's heard from since in the match prior. However the end result was still the same as far as W/L go. It didn't take long for Lina, the manager of Lita and others, to find Lita another opponent, knowing Lita wanted to stay as active as possible. It came sooner than Lita thought, as she knew Lina was looking at potential challengers to Sion and Daisuke's tag championship. They were all in the same group and Lina did her best to tend to them equally.

As with Lita's last match, Lina followed her towards the ring. Lita knew tonight can't end up the same way as her previous two outings, being on the wrong side of the coin too many times consecutively wouldn't do her, or her friends any good. She tried not to think about it as she made her entrance, which was good as Lina made sure things were as they were last time out, wanting to give the new comer a little shock. When they got to the ring Lita stepped inside before climbing the corner to pose for the crowd as Lina joined her on the inside. As she did this the lights would dim. Lina gave Lita a slight nod and Lita held her arms up as if she was striking some battle-like pose and some pyro went off to make it look like she shot some lightning effects from the ceiling. Afterwords she would remaining up there for a couple a few seconds, moving her hair back and waiting for the lights to fade back on before hopping down. So she felt like giving the fans something flashy to observe before getting down to business. She wasn't trying to seem like a bigger deal to her opponent and come off as a showoff, but hopefully Rena could tell Lita at least meant business when Rena saw her enter.

For someone who has a losing streak forming it was hard to tell with that entrance that Lita was on one, which was the mood both she and Lina were looking to set, not just for the match, but for themselves as well.

Rena watched as Lita's entrance was fiery with pyro techniques and lightning effects. It was certainly more flashy then something Rena was used to seeing, and couldn't imagine herself going through with an entrance like that. She liked something short and simple, and something that wouldn't catch her hair on fire.

She was wondering if that was the same Lita from years ago. Rena would be hard pressed not to admit she wasn't feeling a little star stuck at the moment.

"Its so cool to be here with you Lita." Rena said with glee practically written on her face. "Lets make it one killer match to go with that entrance." She winked and thumbed up Lita from across the ring. The crowd certainly shared her sentiment as the mood was lively, as well as the chime of the bell.

DING DING!~ and the fight was on!

While she wasn't meaning to be rude, Lina attempted to keep Lita attention off Rena's friendly gesture.  It wasn't that Lina wanted Lita to ignore her out of spite, but more of a focus thing, not wanting Lita's mind to wander as the match was seconds from beginning.  Lita did give Rena a slight half smile, not wanting to blow her off completely, but at the same time not ignore Lina, who was directly in front of her.  Lina heard what Rena said, and in turn told Lita quietly "If she wants a killer match then show her your meaning of it, like I know you can do."  While Lina wasn't against the possibility of a long drawn out back and forth contest, it also wouldn't bother her if Lita needed less that three minutes to display her dominance.

"You got this." Lina tells her as she steps out of the ring, remaining ringside for the match at hand.  Looking up at the two in the ring she stomped at the floor a couple of timing before clapping once.  She did that a few times to get things going, almost in tune to that of a well known classic rock tune.  Lita didn't think of much of it though as she was more focused on how to kick things off.  Part of her wanted started in the middle, as it's non-uncommon for that to happen, while another wanted to wait for Rena to come to her.  She kept her eyes on Rena in the mean time, in case if the opposition decided to act before she did.

It was sometimes hard for Rena to stay in character when she was all excited to fight. But when the bell toned, she turned all action. Rena moved to the center of the ring and waited to see if the ex-sailor scout wanted to test her wrestling might against Rena's arms.

Noticing Rena move towards the middle of the ring but not any further, Lina proceeded to do the same. With her arms out ready to go she moves closer to Rena, prepared to lock it up. While this wouldn't tell the whole story, this would give Lita a rough idea what to expect since she couldn't go by looks alone, and her initial look of Rena didn't give her much to go on one way other another. Feeling confident that she would be able to do so she attempted to transition her positioning to pull Rena into a quick headlock take down, looking to take her opponent down to her back after about a second in a headlock position.

Lita was going to find out through this grappling, that Rena carried alot of power behind her frame. Not something overwhelming, but someone might be taken back a step not realizing what they've gotten themselves into.

Rena felt the shift, and didn't want a piece of it, but she was soon stuck in a headlock.

From the opening seconds, Lita got the feeling the Rena shouldn’t be one to underestimate, even though she got out of the tieup with Rena under her control for the current moment. From what Lina could see from her vantage point she had a similar thought, though she felt Lita would be fine. “You got this girl, stay on er’” she calls out to Lita, who is wrenching away on the headlock until she decides on where to take. Looking to maintain her grip she would begin stand back up, looking to back Rena up towards one of the corners.

Rena felt herself being backup into a corner, but sure as hell she didn't want to budge. Rena stuck in the head lock, ducked her chin in more and as much as she could. Her arms squeezed Lita's sides, and made a very clear attempt on trying to pick the other girl up in her arms.

How it would go was anyone's guess as they watched the two of them struggle .

Rena sure wasn't making things easy early on, but Lita wasn't too bothered by that, she wasn't against things that were challenging. Lita was about to through her lower back against Rena, looking to force her opponent against the corner, though as she was about to do just that she felt her feet coming off the ground, as well as Rena's arms going around her.
