How one year could change.

It was at this event that Ari's life truly hit rock bottom. Friends having left her, loss after loss piled up and topped up with a loss to an old rival that pierced her deep. Ari once thought that the simple pleasures that she had indulged on would carry her through her career no matter the circumstances. But life had a mysterious way of forcing onto people a new way of life, the simple carnal desires were dulled and lifeless. It wasn't enough for Ari to take her pleasure from mutual sex, she wanted to take it by force. Donning a new mask, a white noh mask with no expression, she appeared on stage to no music. The lack of sound and lighting aside from a lone spotlight, stood the Former Hentai Champion. While her entrance was empty and emotionless, her attire was far from that with vibrant colors chaotically melding and overlapping with one another as she made her way towards the ring.

A far cry from her former way of life, the ring itself was spotless and clean. Nothing covered the mat, nothing to coat them or ooze over their bodies as they rolled around. It was a normal ring, meant to house the Challenger and Champion as they did battle to force the other to cum in the hardest ways possible.

Reaching the ring, Ari slid underneath the bottom rope and slowly made her way back to the center of the ring, staring out to the crowd with her white mask. She ran her fingers down the side of the mask, but did not remove it just yet, whipping back to face the entrance of the arena before backing up into her corner, waiting for the Champion to arrive.

Lucky really liked her job. She REALLY did! From day one, she had met people she knew she'd come to love until the end of her days, fight people who REALLY would test the limits of her athletic ability and introduce her to a sport she'd NEVER thought she'd love... well, before she actually tried it, that is! Lucky loved her job as a wrestler because it was fun, it was friendly... mostly, and she got to meet people who would very quickly become those She would seek to emulate! She would go into each match with a kind of pride and joy, with PASSION she could only match with her love for writing and drawing. She would not always win, but she almost would NEVER truly lose because, in her mind, she'd made a friend, a rival or discovered an idol that day! Now, though...? Lucky didn't feel any of that. As she stood backstage, the hentai-champion of AFW felt little more than something... cold in her belly. Such an alien feeling, this chilling ball in her stomach, its icy tendrils arching up from within, threatening to freeze her blood in their veins! She stared quietly at one of the monitors near the exit as her opponent made towards the ring first, a woman she thought she'd gotten to know over her many matches, someone she'd grown to admire... now someone else. She didn't know who this lady was, not really, she realized.  The Ari Nagawa in that ring wasn't the same one Lucky admired, even if their faces, their hair and their bust-size was the same. Sakura stared at this person who had the face of a former champion, her brow furrowing, her jaw clenching. A woman who took all that Sakura saw in her and slapped her across the face with it, a woman who beat down on the people Lucky loved JUST to get her attention, a woman who now stood there... waiting to take her championship away.

Lucky didn't feel anything when she looked at this person, not love, admiration or drive. She didn't feel anger, fear or sadness either. No, Lucky just felt... cold. She couldn't tell if it was because she didn't want to feel the hurt that came with the realization of who Ari was... or if she had genuinely had some kind of emotional break she hadn't realized yet! The bubbly cheerleader whom many-a-wrestler had come to appreciate for her beauty and charm... seemed icily devoid of these attributes today. Even her manager seemed immensely concerned in the moments leading up to the match with how... robot-like her movements were and how monotone her voice was. She kept being told to smile, to work herself up into some kind of jubulence, to put on a face for the crowd...

"...Yeah." Was all she said.

But, if there was one thing Sakura was, it was a good actor. Once her name was called, she made her way out not unlike any other match, her trademark smile, her bounce in-her-step, even the gleam in her eye was all there... in function, working the crowd up with excitement as they saw their champion slip her way into the ring!

Once she faced Ari, though, that smile dropped like a rock. Lucky's smile flipped, her gaze froze over, her brow furrowed as she glared quietly at her opponent. Not a word of greeting or challenge to this woman she THOUGHT she admired... Nothing but a cold shoulder and an air of disappointment.

Waiting in the corner, Ari grabbed on to the top ropes as he crouched down, laying in wait as she swiveled her hips from side to side stretching subtly as she waited for the Champion. The look of gleeful anticipation was different than the normal look that Ari gave, before it was one of sexually anticipation of what was to come. This time it was more...sinister, like she was waiting for a piece of meat to be dropped in front of her with the ravenous look on her face as she waited for the Champion and her prize. The theme of the Champion began to play as soon the Cheerleader Hentai Champion of the World appeared on stage and began to make her way down to the ring.

The Champion looked to be in her prime state, smiling and bouncing up and down with each step as if this night was no different than any other night, another night to defend her Championship in front of an excited crowd to see their idol prevail again. But when both competitors stood in the ring, standing across of each other in separate corners, that's where Ari saw that something was off. There was no warmth in her eyes that she had seen countless times on the television, no joy of being in the ring, there was but a cold stare bearing into Ari.

Such coldness from a Beacon Glee brought a twisted smile to Ari's lips.

Her sudden unannounced return to the ring and subsequent attack on her and her friends had the intended effect. To turn all of that warm fuzzy feelings of sexual battle and turn it into something more visceral. "Aw? What's wrong little girl? Not happy to see little old Ari?" she sneered from the corner, still crouching down before slowly rising up to her full height.

Lucky really couldn't stand what she was about to do right now. Like... Sakura had rivalries. She had people she LOVED and people she didn't like over-much... THEN people who she was abjectly AFRAID OF... but not any she actually, for lack of a better word, hated. It was one thing to fight one of her friends in a match. Heck, trash-talk, as Lucky learned over her time fighting, was a basic part of wrestling! She wouldn't hate someone for winning over her friends, even doing some posturing in the process! In fact, she was learning the art of trash-talk from her bestie herself, getting better a little at a time! You know, to add some pzazz to her matches!

Ari didn't do that, though. No, Ari walked right up to Lucky and her closest compatriots, beating them ALL up... and for what? To get a match? Was THAT all she wanted!? For something Sakura would've gladly given for free, with a smile and a squee, Ari chose to BEAT it out of her!? Lucky couldn't help but remember Maddie and Haruka getting hit the worst despite Sakura being the key target, her friends, the people she loved taking a bullet each because Ari was just that NASTY! That's right, NASTY! She wasn't afraid to say it (to herself) anymore! Messing with her was one thing! Like Death Bunny, she could LIVE knowing she'd been beaten up to make a point! Like Bowser, she could definitely cope with the idea a monster was on the prowl if she surrounded herself with her bestest friends! ...But Ari, instead, decided to shame them ALL, HURT THEM ALL! An angelic creature like the cheerleader seldom had her feathers ruffled... but when she sees a woman she admired HURT her friends for NOTHING...

...Those glistening, white wings would turn a sinister black.

Lucky said nothing at Ari's taunts. What was there to say? Ari already made it clear enough what her intentions were, why she wanted what she wanted and how much she ENJOYED what she was doing at the cost of Lucky's loved ones. There was nothing for Sakura to ask other than "what made you turn to this"... and in that regard, the champion REALLY didn't care. She didn't WANT to feel any sympathy for the white-haired champion... especially in a HENTAI match, this little thing Lucky held close to her heart... a heart now wounded by the very woman who stood before her.

So Lucky said nothing, her arms hanging by her side, her body as still as a statue as she stood in her corner. As Ari talked and talked, the words bounced off her like bullets off a steel wall. After all? What could Ari say that could get to her now?

...She already tore her heart out.

Ari tried to provoke the Champion more but the normally vocal Cheerleader wasn't biting on her taunts and continued to stare at her stoically. But Ari's grin only grew darker, silence in of itself was an answer to the Fallen Ari. How the jolly and beaming Cheerleader was now glaring at her with such intensity, striking right where it Ari knew it would hurt most when she made her empathic return.

This division, for all of it's loving affairs and passionate battles had swallowed Ari up, chewed her up and spat her back out leaving nothing but bitterness and spite. Seeing how gleeful and happy that Lucky was as Champion made all of those negative emotions rushing up to the forefront and made Ari wanted to take it all and smash it to pieces, the same way to what this world of theirs did to her and pull her down from the euphoric paradise and into the dirty muck with her.

Now all she had to do was take that Championship that was once hers.

The introductions were made, Ari's once beloved name was accompanied by the numerous jeers of the 'betrayed' audience. But Ari cared very little about them, their support meant nothing to her and it was only now that she realized that it never did as the bell shortly rang, beginning this Championship Battle!

Ari left the corner, slow and methodical as her eyes never left Lucky's, as she slithered closer to the Champion reaching out and prodding at Lucky to test her reactions and deciding if she could just dive into the Champion.

Lucky took quiet note from the audience with a flick of her eyes in their direction, acknowledging just how little they cared for Ari in that moment in time. So, they understood too, huh? That disappointment in realizing someone you actually looked up to was nothing but a jerk? Sakura had seen this kind of stuff on social media before... How a celebrity would put on this happy-cheery face full of goodness and generosity up in front of a camera... only to find out later that they're nothing but a scumbag. It was kinda funny, then, that she didn't figure this out before. Maybe... it was because of the screen between her and the act... and because she was an outsider looking though a lens in that she didn't quite feel an... investment in it...? Was kinda like watching a reality TV show, for lack of a less messed-up comparison...

...Well, Lucky learned REAL quick how those people felt and then some, being directly impacted by the dark, slimy underbelly of someone they admired. It almost sickened- No... it DID sicken Lucky, that look in Ari's eyes, like a crazed predator staring down her prey. Such unmitigated coldness, such unhidden disregard for her opponent... Ari could've been a lizard-person for all the humanity behind those eyes! Sakura hated that she had to hate ANYONE... that she had to feel this intense-a-dislike for ANYONE in her life, let alone someone she used to worship at the alter of her idols! There was no small amount of pain in crossing Ari off the list of people she wanted to be like... and there wouldn't be much pleasure in beating her today. More than anything, Lucky wanted to bury her face in her pillows and cry, just let out the water-works and feel everything she wasn't letting herself at this moment.

...But not now.

Locking down her feelings, Sakura got ready to fight... and defend her title from what used to be a worthy opponent. Ari would make a swipe at Lucky, reaching at her as if to access the threat... and Lucky would spare her NOTHING. Dashing in, Lucky would DUCK under Ari's arm with remarkable speed and ease, jumping slightly and bringing her legs up in a HARSH drop-kick to the woman's lower-torso, aiming to DIG her heels into Ari's lower-belly... and what lay below that!

The Champion and Challenger sized each other up, Ari knew that she rattled the Champion deep within her core, that she had shook the Champion off of her normal game. But by doing so, it had left Lucky unpredictable in her approach, capitalizing on the small opening of Ari swiping at the leg as she suddenly launched herself at Ari, leaping up and tucking her feet in before firing them outward to smash right into Ari's stomach. The bolt of speed took the Challenger by surprise, her eyes widening as the boots connected to her stomach and near her groin.

The attack shoved Ari back, her feet slipping out from underneath her as she landed on her butt, her lower stomach burning and her face grimaced in pain. Pain. It was the odd feeling to embrace. But it was the perfect conduit to encapsulate all of the turbulent emotions Ari had endured in a short year of her life crashing down around her. And the perfect outlet to expel all of it to the outer world, the world of pleasure that had consumed and spat her out.

And seeing that joyful Champion playing her game, wanting to inflict the same to her, brought a twisted smile to Ari's face as she sat on the mat and looking up to Lucky.

"That's a good girl. Now come on. Come get me." she sneered out, scooting closer towards Lucky as she chose to fight off of her back. Her legs shuffling forward to pull the rest of her body closer towards Lucky, inching herself closer to try and lash out her legs to scissor one of Lucky's to try and trip her down to the mat!

It was such a weird feeling, seeing someone in pain smile at her like that. She knew of the fetish where people got off to discomfort but... this wasn't that weird (but not judge-worthy) grin Ari was projecting at her right now. No, she looked more... Satisfied....? Justified...? as if a point had been proven...? It was an odd, perverted level of contentment that this woman was projecting onto the cheerleader as she sat up into a sitting position from her tumble to the mat, Lucky quickly hopping to her feet with that same determined cold stare on her face. It was like an anime, where the villain was as much crazy as he was evil, laughing as his body was cut to ribbons or pummeled to submission by the protagonist. It was almost as if there wasn't a person in there but a mockery of one, someone rendered shallow by their own needs or something... It added a hint of visible disgust to the wrinkles along the cheerleader's furrowed brow that someone would actually behave this way in real life.

Ari's taunts bounced off Lucky like a light jab might off her buxom chest. Her heart was hardened, her determination, iron, impregnable to words... at least of this caliber. What was unnerving, however, was how Ari was just scooting at her in a pseudo-crab-walk, JERKING herself at Lucky like an upside-down lunging spider, LASHING out with its legs! Her eyes did widen at that, her mouth agape slightly at such an awkward maneuver, the champion lurching back far enough to escape the grabbing snags of Ari's lunge... but not quite enough to avoid the grazing of Ari's feet against Lucky's ankle. She was fast, Ari, almost overtaking Lucky in such a WEIRD attempt at a trip-up, the champion feeling a little smidge of uncertainty worm itself inside at the sight of such oddity...

She wouldn't allow it to consume her yet, though. As Ari's legs closed together around nothing in her failed grab-attack, Lucky would RAISE up her own boot and STOMP on Ari's ankle in response, hoping to shock her into some kind of sense! A sprained ankle, especially in a fight, was no laughing matter. It made standing unbearable, kicks impossible and the mind hazy with discomfort and distracting pain. She didn't want to hurt anyone... Even in fights it wasn't about hurting the other person, but BEATING them! Even now, she didn't want to hurt Ari, persay but stop her... maybe even knock some sense into her!

...And it only made sense to start at the ankle, right?

Lunging forward from the ground, her legs lashing out and missing Lucky's leg as the Champion avoided the take down attempt as Lucky jumped out of the way. A snarl left Ari's lips as her attempts left her with nothing but air before Lucky's foot came crashing down on her ankle. Her eyes widened as the foot stomped down on the vulnerable point of her body, her leg tucking in as she grabbed at her foot. She growled out as she rolled away from Lucky, nerves firing out and shooting up her leg, the Champion had struck a tactical blow and hampered Ari's mobility if she chose to rise up on her foot.

Pain swept over Ari's face, but soon the smile curled back on her face. It wasn't just a normal strike, the stomp had some evil intent behind it; a level of ferocity that she hadn't seen in the Champion before. Despite the pain, the Fallen Ari had still found some level of validation from her failed attempt. The attack gave her all she needed to know about what was going inside of Lucky's head and how she wasn't in her normal flow. She'd definitely sacrifice a little pain for that, but the Former Champion knew that she couldn't give up that many attacks to her ankle like that. On her knee, she stood herself up as she smiled at Lucky, rolling her ankle underneath to try and dull the pain in it.

"Oooooh. That had some oomph to it. Did it make you feel good?"

She sneered out as she rose up to her feet, slowly as she planted her attacked foot on the mat. A tinge of pain shot through it, but not enough for Ari to lose her evil smile as she rose up to stand across the Champion. Bringing her two fingers up, she tapped her cheek as she turned it towards Lucky. "Why not strike me here? Let out all of that tension you're hiding?"
