Hunting for Duels (For AgentHunter)

Charlotte was the sort that despite having good backgrounds in grappling still preferred to mainly try and duke it out with her opponent trading blows, it was simply how she rolled in the ring. If she couldn't swing a sword at you then it was the next best thing in her mind, plus Charlotte did relish that feeling of her knuckles smacking into a person. It just felt good at times, the duel seeker couldn't really explain it otherwise. Perhaps to Charlotte it was simply the sound of progress, either way Cadence got hit clean there. The French girl was glad she had her hair done up to keep it from getting in the way there, but regardless Charlotte looked quite fancy there in hindsight. She was proving to the good Hunter that Charlotte was more than willing to simply scrap it out if need be.

However in her performance Charlotte likely forgot one detail, namely that Cadence was likely not going to take that laying down so easily. If his body was anything to go by, that was why the duel seeker had gone for the jaw and head area there. To try and unsettle Hunter enough to see about advancing some form of offence against him, Charlotte didn't exactly have a gameplan to go about as such from that point. But her fast paced aggression would have been well suited there. Charlotte didn't even have a full and proper martial arts behind her, it was bits and pieces learned in college. Thought the duel seeker was constantly learning at any rate.

Regardless Cadence launched his counterattack, taking the pain and getting into Charlotte's circle. He shot out a kick and on instinct the duel seeker made to step to the side and get her arms up to try and block, but Cadence true to his background was employing a feint. A trick to get the French girl to flinch up and make her open for a true follow up. The Hunter suddenly shuffled himself around and crashed his leg smack down onto the head of Charlotte with the height difference coming into play there. Charlotte gave a loud yell as she crashed hard to the mat, one hand clutching the affected area of her head. She tried to process what happened there save for the spittle that flew from her mouth, Charlotte was able to mutter out "M-Merde." as she was downed hard there........

Now that Charlotte had been downed from the fainted ax kick Hunter had connected with, the taller man did little in the way of hesitation. Immediately moving over the legs of his downed opponent, facing her back, he concluded that his best option against his well dressed and knightly opponent was a good old suplex. Ms. Charlotte Harrenwood had shown not only attuned skills in the realm of combat, but she had also shown tenacity, creativity, and endurance thus far, something he wasn't expecting from the, frankly, kind of adorable French knight; though now that he had seen it from her, Hunter knew he had to turn things up a notch. Charlotte had shown she could handle simple strikes, now she was going to be tested against Hunters full arsenal, and hopefully she returned in kind.

Bending down at both his knees, Hunter reached down around his opponent's clothed waist, digging his hands in between her and the mat. Once he had a tight enough grip, the man first gave himself a better stance in preparation for the suplex from her grounded position. If the attempt were to be successful, Hunters knees would extend and his core would help wrench Charlotte off the mat, into a German suplex, funnily enough back onto the mat, but she had every ability to escape from his attack. "Care for a lift, Ms. Charlotte?", Hunter chimed as he began to lift for is attempted attack, oddly finally feeling like he could use some sort of banter with the woman.

Charlotte was down but far, far from out here. It'd take a lot more than that to put down the duel seeker she reasoned, but still that kick hurt like hell. Charlotte had a jaw of iron, though she couldn't really buff the rest of her head she reasoned besides studying. Regardless Hunter had gotten in a good blow there, still though Charlotte wasn't ready to lay down yet.

She'd kept her eyes open as best she could despite the pain almost ordering her to do so, because it was only a matter of time before Charlotte was going to be attacked again. The French girl was expecting it to be some form of a strike considering what Cadence had been coming up with so far, him shuffling around and getting his arms on the duel seeker proved otherwise. It seemed he was attempting some form of a suplex or power based move, made sense given the height and build of the good Hunter in comparison to the duel seeker.

Ironically Cadence's words were helping Charlotte regain some semblance of composure, the French girl fully opened her eyes and reacted on instinct. He was behind Charlotte here and the French girl came up with a move idea on the spot, Charlotte would try to make herself as much of a deadweight as she could and force herself downwards with her legs. While at the same time the duel seeker had her arms free she'd quickly wrap them around Cadence's neck and she jolted herself down she'd slam his jaw into her left shoulder with a hard hitting stunner!!!!

Hunter's chin collided with Charlotte's shoulder, the impact of her stunner blasting its way through the man's jaw and head, "Urgh!", he grunted out in pain as the impact sent his body reeling back a few steps before falling to the mat back first. Before his back made impact with the mat, Hunter insinctually forced his hands out behind his back, catching his body before his head impacted another hard surface. Now in a sitting position, the man was left dazed and pained in the head, trying to regain some focus on his surroundings.

Hunters eyes finally refocused as he was left staring at the perpetrator of that rather well timed Stunner. Analyzing the younger woman before him, he reminded himself of his plan to try and amp things up, and show this surprisingly well dressed French lass what he could do, and while he had been dazed and his head was still throbbing, Hunter wasn't new to blows like that, though not specifically Stunners, he knew he was far too durable to let that counter of hers stop him. Quickly getting up from his seated position and moving back a few more paces, Hunter got down on his hands and feet in pose that made it clear he was going to sprint, one leg bent forward for the initial launch, and the other leg outstretched to follow up in the run. Analyzing the situation in front of him, Hunter composed another plan, one that would partly deliver some payback for the stunner while also helping to set up for another attack right after, granted if his attack would work.

A Tornado DDT, that's what Hunter was thinking of for the first bid to heat things up, a move he was only slightly familiar with and had only practiced twice. It was a maneuver that was probably far better suited for someone Charlotte's size, but then again, Hunter was far more agile than his six foot three inch frame could properly indicate. If he got this move correct and could daze the woman long enough, he might have a chance at another move afterwards, granted if he were fast enough and if it actually worked.

Now with his plan thought out and its intricacies realized Hunter took a moment to go over the maneuver one more time before shaking the rest of the daze and headache out of his cranium, as well as psyching himself up. Marking his target with his gaze, Hunter sprung to action from his readied position, launching off of the mat with his bent leg into a sprint. It only took but a few paces from where he had started to get near Charlotte's position, but he wasn't heading straight for Charlotte, no, Hunter was heading for the ropes. Jumping, the man landed boot first onto second highest rope, catching the third and highest rope with his hands to keep himself stable; looking behind his back to make sure that he could make his attempt unhindered, Hunter then launched off of the second ring rope towards Charlotte, twisting his body as he launched so he was facing the woman. If he was successful in his attempt, Hunter would catch himself on the French woman's left shoulder, wrap his arm around the rear of her neck, and guide her down into the DDT as her body most likely twisted with his momentum. There were many ways that this scenario could go, especially with this French dame, but it suited as a perfect opportunity for the former soldier to figure out how to fight in the ring effectively, and possibly compile a mental and maybe even physical list of dos and do-nots for ring bound combat.

Now that was an effective move there, Charlotte hadn't really done many wrestling moves in the past. Used as she was to the MMA ring and driving her fists and legs into her foe's gut, to grapple with your foe there was to often try to take them to the mat and try to cinch in an armbar or some form of joint lock to force a submission. So busting out proper pro wrestling moves was actually a interesting experience for the duel seeker, slamming Hunter's jaw right into her shoulder sent a sharp jolt through him.

A hard blow like that was something that Charlotte reasoned would turn the tide in her favour, however in the brief moment following it Charlotte hadn't considered that Hunter likely had a stern jaw himself there. The man had screamed ex military and while it wouldn't help against a bullet being smacked in the chin was part and parcel and considering the difference in mass it helped the good hunter regain his bearings a bit faster than the duel seeker would like.

She could already hear him shuffling around behind her, Charlotte had taken a quick breath to steel herself and turned and scrambled up to try and match him. The French girl was intent on driving her fists into the top of his head or jaw, only to find that Cadence was already on the move. With far more speed than she'd expect one of his size and stature to be capable of, she simply caught nothing but thin air with her blows. Out of instinct Charlotte turned around to try and catch him running, but the next thing Charlotte knew she was witnessing the 6ft plus guy leap off the second rope in a manner akin to her Cousin and clutch her into a Tornado DDT.

Charlotte just had time to sort of brace herself, for all the good it did. She hit the mat with a heavy crashing noise, the French girl grunted loudly as her head smacked against the ring mat. That stung worse than some fists she'd taken to the head in the past, as it stood now the duel seeker could do little save for pant quietly from the harsh impact.......
