Hunting a bounty.

Three days ago a young red headed girl had chosen to take a bounty from one of the seedier places she had found, a small town known as Birk had a put called Shadowmoor and in there she had found her bounty target for the time, she was apparently from her understanding supposed to chase down some kind of a knight from her understanding, to Scarlet it didn't matter what she had done or not, she only cared about the money and the fact that it would be a worth while challenge...and if it didn't then it just meant that it was easy money after all.

Scarlet was heading through the woods, searching for the girl as she was running through the trees and looked around, tracked the girl's footprints and searched for which direction that the girl had taken, she soon came upon a trail that seemed to lead into a clearing of the forest but when she reached it there was nothing.

" Ish'thar ?...is she near ?" Scarlet spoke out with a low tone of voice as she still tried to keep herself mostly hidden.

" Yes, she is very close." A voice emanated from her necklace and spoke to her, the guiding demon Ish'thar was still one to feel the presence of humans and he knew that this Knight, this warrior that they were searching for.

" Good, how close ?...oh never mind." Scarlet was about to ask Ish'thar where she was but soon she spotted something a bit further away, and would quickly head up towards her and try to place herself behind the girl. " Excuse me ! Are you Trisha ....how do you say this..." Scarlet said outloud as she looked on at the bounty paper for the last name and couldn't understand how she was suppose to pronounce it. " Ber..kin ? Berk..In? B...Rekin ?"

Within her journeys so far, Trisha Birkin has gone through quite a few ordeals. She certainly hasn't had the easiest of times when it came down to it, first losing to a knight like her, but quite the dark one, being humiliated thoroughly by her, her father's sword broken in half during the fight, then shortly after that ending up being jumped by a succubus. However that second meeting wasn't all that without reward. The succubus gave her the gift of a good deal of Mithril, the material of which she took to one of the best blacksmiths around, crafting a new sword very similar to her last but very very much stronger.

"Victoria...I'll kill you next time we meet.." Trisha would say to herself as she made her way through a forest clearing. She's been through many towns since her 'battle' with the succubus, getting a reputation in each one, though in her mind there was nothing much noteworthy. She was yet to find Victoria and that's all that mattered to her.

She was camping out where she was, sitting and tending to her sword. She figured that she was finally getting time to herself to think, a break from her path of revenge that she was carving in her search, however it seemed like that wasn't the case as she would suddenly hear someone behind her.

Trisha would get to her feet, turning towards the girl as she saw her read her name from a piece of paper. "...Birkin..yes I am...And you are? Do I know you?"

Scarlet looked on at Trisha as the girl said to her as she would look back down on the paper and then back at Trisha and then back at the paper again. " Berkin ?" Scarlet said as she raised and eyebrow and then looked on at the girl for a few seconds and then would shrug a bit before she would let out a little " Huh.." after which she would put the note back into her pocket and look on at Trisha for a few seconds.

" What you think Ish'thar ? " Scarlet said as she looked on at Trisha and inspected the girl a bit and then she heard her mentor and guiding demon speak to her again.

" Shouldn't be too much trouble." Ish'thar said as his voice emanated from the necklace and spoke to Scarlet, Trisha would be able to hear the voice of the demon as it spoke.

" Well then should we get started ? " Scarlet said as she would make her Arcane power appear next to her, as her arcane seals came to be next to her head and her eyes would start to light up with a faint blue light. " Hope you're ready." Scarlet said as she would then fire off two shots of Arcane missiles at Scarlet aimed straight for her gut.

"..Well?" Trisha watched Scarlet looking back and forth from her to the piece of paper she had in her hand. She was clearly looking for her for some reason, but Trisha couldn't really make out why. It all seemed too odd with this girl just suddenly showing up, asking for her. She thought for a minute that maybe she was there to deliver a letter or a message, but then she would hear her start talking again.

"Who are--" She was about to ask who she meant by 'Ish'thar', but then suddenly heard the voice emanating from the girl's necklace, causing her to narrow her eyes in both surprise and suspicion. "..Get started?" She repeated before she saw the arcane seals appear next to her head, the girl's eyes beginning to light up.

"Ah!?" Trisha would quickly get her sword up, sensing the danger as those two arcane missiles shot out at her. She would quickly jump out of the way, avoiding those shots, readying herself quickly with her sword. "What is this about!? Who are you??"

Scarlet smiled a bit as she watched Trisha jump away from her attacks and move away a bit standing ready as she did then as Scarlet would laugh a bit and then shake her head. " Wow real nice." Scarlet let out as she watched Trisha and then listened to what Trisha said and then tilted her head to the right and looked on at Trisha. " Come on, you really don't think you've earned some enemies ? I'm here to take you down and bring you in for the reward. " Scarlet said with a little smile as she then jumped back a bit.

" Beware of her sword. It won't break easily." Ish'thar said to Scarlet as the Scarlet haired witch then smirked a bit and looked over at a tree next to Trisha, smiling a bit as she would have a bit of fun now, by shooting one missile over towards the other side of Trisha and then another shot at the other side of the tree to make it fall towards Trisha, as she hoped that the shot she fired at Trisha would force the girl to jump towards the tree.

" This won't take long Ish'thar." Scarlet said with a little chuckle as she was starting to get quite excited for this fight.

Trisha glared at Scarlet as she let out a laugh, shaking her head. The girl didn't seem to think all that much of her, seemingly quite confident in the way she was carrying herself in this fight that she had initiated. Hearing her next words, Trisha would curl her brow. Someone wanted her taken down? It wasn't like everyone loved her, but she couldn't think of anyone that would want her done in. It almost seemed like it was some sort of joke, but with how Scarlet was acting, it was clear that it wasn't.

She watched Scarlet smirk as she jumped back, seeing another missile launch from her. Trisha has seen people use magic before, but being up against an arcane user face to face wasn't a very fun thing as she was learning first hand. She would leap out of the way of another missile, seeing the next one collide with a tree, sending it falling straight towards her.

"Hah!?" Her eyes widen as she turned up to the tree, reflexively slashing up at it, slicing it clean in half, maneuvering with that to get out of the way of danger, quickly turning to Scarlet, trying to find an opportunity to go on the offensive.

Scarlet would after she managed to get Trisha busy with that tree that Scarlet had sent falling at the girl, she would quickly try and run up behind Trisha and fire a close range arcane missile at the back of the knight. Trying to catch her after she jumped away from the tree to use that tactic as a means of distracting her before attacking.

" From what I gather your bounty isn't the highest but it was rather interesting. I have never chased after a knight before." Scarlet said as she would shake her head a little and take a few steps back. " Though I'm not sure why you even have a bounty, I guess you've upset someone real bad for them to put one on you." The Scarlet haired witch said as she shrugged a bit and then looked on at Trisha as she would check and see if what she had done did anything at all to the knight.

Trisha had dodged quite the close shot when she avoided that tree crashing down on her. The girl that she was facing didn't mind using those sorts of tactics against her, and Trisha was more than happy to show her they wouldn't work. However, before she could take too much time being proud of herself, she suddenly found Scarlet right behind her, feeling the arcane missile explode onto her back.

She would let out a loud yell, her body jerking as she would fall to one knee, gritting her teeth. "..Those things are no joke..I can't take to many direct hits from those.." She thought to herself before she would hear Scarlet explaining the bounty, causing her to raise her brow a bit. "Is..that right? I'll have to pay whoever made that bounty a visit after I take care of you!" She let out, trying to spin herself and sweep at Scarlet's legs.

After the Scarlet witch managed to move in behind the knight and was able to fire of a missile right against the girl's back which seemed to be something that caused her a bit of damage. Something that reassured Scarlet that she was going to be able to beat this girl, since her last opponent she faced was immune to magic she had started to get a bit couscous about what kind of powers her opponents might have. It wasn't really a common thing that a person that put out a bounty on someone would actually tell you what that person was truly capable of.

Though just as Scarlet was about to send two missiles straight down to Trisha's head the girl spun around on the rough forest ground and swoop the Scarlet Witch's feet from out under her, making the witch fall down on her butt. " Ugh...What...Annoying brat !" Scarlet shouted out as she would roll backwards and then try to move up to her feet in a smooth motion. As she got up she would try and fire of two missiles aimed straight for Trisha's chest.

Unfortunately for Trisha, as much as she would wish to have some sort of power with defense towards magic, she didn't have anything of the sort. When it came down to it, other than her thorough training with the sword and developing her body, she was just a normal girl, no powers to speak of. This was putting her at a disadvantage in this fight, but she wasn't about to give in. If she could somehow out maneuver Scarlet, she could get the upperhand over her.

She would start this sort of thing with the leg sweep that she tried to pull off, able to successfully bring Scarlet down onto her butt, giving Trisha a little bode of confidence. She heard her shout and would just smirk a bit, quickly getting to her feet and charging towards her. As she was about to give her a followup attack though, she would see her fire those two missiles, Trisha's eyes widening as she immediately stopped her charge. She would duck down, trying to roll right under the missiles and come up near Scarlet, attempting to bring her sword up in a sharp upward slash at her.
