Abigail Larsen Vs Cicilia De'Reignhardt

Standard Boxing Match - Victory by KO or throwing the towel. Rounds last 3 minutes.

Abi Larsen:

Despite everything that Abi had done recently: The move to Japan, Signing up with the AFW and trying to adjust to a new life. It was nice to go back to something you would feel more comfortable with. When Abi first arrived in Japan, she swore that she would never go back to competitive boxing. However the AFW did have a boxing division, and they were eager to show off her talent to help spur on moe ticket sales. While Abi had never made a global impact on the boxing scene, In Asia she was big enough that she could sell out an arena still, even if she had officially retired.

And that was exactly how she got herself in her current predicament. The AFW management wanted more money and they knew they would sell far more tickets having Abi box, than actually do the thing she came here to do. On the plus side it would mean more money for her, and right now she needed that money. Japan wasn't cheap after all. She was currently backstage, looking over her contract for the fight. She was already in gear at this point the only things missing were her gloves and mouthpiece. The contact had listed the name of her opponent: A one Cicilia De'Reignhardt. A name that didn't ring a bell to her immediately. Normally she would have done a full analysis of the woman in her old boxing days. Calculating a strategy with her team and everything. But here at AFW she wanted to take a different approach. Something more casual.

Setting down the contract she finished getting ready, sliding on her black boxing gloves and inserting her  mouthguard. She would then walk out and make her way down the ramp towards the ring. The rest of her attire was a simple set of a black and grey sports bra and black short trunks. It was finished off with a pair of black boxing boots. Climbing into the ring, Abi took a moment to take a lap of the ring, swinging her shoulders around to warm herself up. Once she was finished she got in her corner, punching her gloves together, eager to get started.

FINALLY... Cicilia had secured a boxing match after ALL this damn time... Cicilia's last match ended far to quickly and brutally for the higher-ups it had seemed, the Juggernaut having COMPLETELY ran over the girl she had been supposed to be "fighting". That was the word they had used besides "holding back". She was supposed to "fight" that girl... not crush her. Bah. What a joke. Cicilia had to sit down and get her EAR chewed off for at least 5 minutes over the finer points of NOT ENDING FIGHTS TOO EARLY! She couldn't believe it... What GARBAGE! It was their fault and they were putting it on her!? Ugh... Whatever. She didn't care. She had this new woman to fight and she wasn't going to hold back on her either.

Leaving her jacket back in the locker, Cicilia grabbed her sanguine boxing gloves and headed out to face the music one more time... and earn her pay-check for this evening's performance.

Cicilia would step out... and the crowd would CHEER her. At least SOMEONE appreciates her damn time in this place! Even though her mind still BOILED with the frustration her bosses put in her... She couldn't help but smile as the crowd cheered her this day... it felt... good to be appreciated... at least today it did. She wasn't in the mood to glower and BURN everything around her... She just wanted someone to HIT... and hit HARD.

...and there was that person. And she looked tough. Cutesy... but tough. A fine balance between those two attributes. As the woman crawled into the ring, the Juggernaut would take her position in the corner, lightly resting her arms upon the top ropes, lounging there in thought... already trying to analyze Abi... Swarmer...? Outboxer...? It was hard to tell what style she favored, based on her body-type. Definitely not a slugger... definitely not... Hmm... The German's intense gaze fell over Abi Larsen like increased gravity, setting the tone for this match: predator hunting prey.

It seemed that it didn't take long for someone to actually come out toward the ring. Clearly everyone was quite hyped to see this fight happen. Watching Cicilia enter the ring, Abi cautiously glanced her eyes over the female. Abi instantly joyed that she had the height advantage, and by looking at her, she also probably took the weigh lt advantage by a fair bit too. While the woman looked serious, she didn't look like a threat. She had gloved up against significantly scarier women and left them on the ground covered in their own blood.

Refusing to be intimidated by the female, She began to walk to the centre of the ring once Cicilia had gotten settled, waiting for her to arrive. The Ref would give their usual spiel. Rules, regulations, victory conditions. None of it was ever going to be new news to these two fighters, both clearly just wanted to punch the other.

"So you actually think someone as lithe as you stands a chance in a boxing ring? You look like you get demolished on a weekly basis." Abi taunted, taking a couple of steps back and raising her gloves. She kept her stance wide, legs lowered, gloves protecting the face and upper body. She was ready. All she needed now was the bell.

"...I guess even the ugly and the stupid are allowed in this place... Even if some of the people here are strong, AFW has no fucking standards." Cicilia grunted heavily, moving to the center of the ring where Abi now stood. Look at her, so smug and confident, looking like she couldn't possibly lose... What a pleasure it would be to rip that cocky-ass attitude right out of her. She couldn't WAIT for this match to start because GOD, she was going to go in HARDER on this woman than any she'd fought recently... She was going to steamroll her to absolute DUST.

Blah, blah, rules, regulations, all that stuff... Cicilia tuned out EVERYTHING else, staring only at her opponent.... until the bell rang.

DING!

Without a moment's hesitation, Cicilia closed in on Abi like a shark upon it's prey, the German bringing her fist up to SLAM into the woman's gut in an utterly unforgiving uppercut! This attack would be followed by an equally quick and savage hook right at the woman's ribs, the German trying to beat the living AIR out of the woman one SLUG at a time! Whether or not those two punches connected, the German would begin applying pressure upon her foe, throwing quick, heavy punches and straights in unrelenting combinations, each one flowing into the other as they HAMMERED upon the woman's mid-section and sides! Her blows were like mortar-shells falling upon a fortress, like shotgun blasts fired from point-blank range! Each punch Cicilia sent Abi's way was packed with enough power to send any normal woman REELING in utter agony.

...And Abi would fall away the same... mark her words...

Cicilia's comment was enough to cause the blood in Abi to start to boil. Clearly the European woman had no idea whom she was, because if she did: she would have taken an entirely different approach. Still, she couldn't be entirely angry regarding Cicilia not knowing her. While she most certainly had fame within Asian circles, asides from her Olympic gold victory back in 2012 she had never been around Europe.

When the bell rang, Abi was in full focus. She expected the female to charge in, everything about her screamed aggression and behold the woman obliged. Abi had kept her guard up, protecting the body so the tips of her elbows managed to absorb the starting uppercut, which was a blessing, but had the unintended side effect of dislodging her guard. This in turn opened the way for the first hook to the ribs to hit its mark. The impact caused a groan to escape Abi's lips. The woman most certainly had power, that was not debatable. And while it was on the stronger side, it wasn't the strongest she had taken. Carmen Rodriguez still held that title and despite all that strength Abi had come out the winner. So nothing to worry about then.

Abi reset her guard, lowering it properly as Cici kept up her assault on her midsection, over and over again. As the punches came in, Abi let her guard absorb them while counting, getting a feeling for the rhythm, counting in her head the timing of the punches. Her forearms were complaining sure, but Abi also knew that a well timed counterpunch could undo Cici and her pain train. She was focusing so much on her midsection that her entire face was going to be exposed. And that as exactly what Abi was going to exploit. Waiting for the moment in between punches, Abi lunged forward with her left arm, sprinting forward like a piston and aiming a jab right at Cicilia's right cheek. It wasn't the strongest blow on the planet for sure, but it was hopefully enough to get her to back off.

After the punch, Abi backed off a step, shook her arms for a moment to get the blood flowing back in them after they went numb from all the blocking and fell back into her guard. Abi had no intention of trying to turn the tide and start attacking. It was early days, let Cicilia tire herself out with all the attacks. It would pay dividends later.

Abi's guard was next to pathetic, Cicilia crushing through it in just a few punches! Her first blow shattered her defenses, the second raced through, SMASHING into her ribs and forcing out a satisfactory groan of pain from the arrogant little Korean. This was an excellent sign... If she could break her so easily while she was this fresh, the rest of this fight would be over and done with in just a few rounds. Cicilia couldn't wait to see the look on Abi's face when she was lying on the floor of this ring, her entire world fluttering in and out of existance, whatever was left spinning wildly out of control in a sickening spiral associated with the worst rocking of her entire career...

Suffice it to say, Cicilia didn't suffer assholes... But she did make them suffer.

Abi would prove to not be as easy to crack now as she had been in the beginning, however, her guard finally fortifying into something resembling functional, her arms falling to guard against the German's focused attacks! This was what Cicilia wanted, in truth, a confidence that attacks would keep coming in one place... It was a basic case of misdirection, a setting of the pace that would eventually be broken with a SHARP change of direction while doubling as a way to HAMMER at the woman's arms... damage them so that they were AGONIZING to defend with in later rounds! The Juggernaut would BEAT and BEAT and BEAT away at the woman's belly with all the mercy of a creature of rage, the beast that was Cicilia De'Reignhardt showing NO restraint in how hard she hit...

...But then, things would sharply turn...

SUDDENLY Cicilia would lunge in a vicious DOWNWARD stroke upon Abi's head, a huge overhand right BUSTING towards the center of her face, bypassing her torso-focused guard! At the same time, Abi would take the offensive for the first time this fight, poking at the German's face with a quick, jab! Abi's punch would strike the German's cheek dead on... but such a light blow would HARDLY stop what was coming for her in return, a blow that sent the air around the glove SCREAMING away in terror, a bubble/pocket of which surrounding the glove as it SHOT towards the woman's jaw!

For Abi it was a case of letting Cicilia tire herself out and perhaps get a feel for what she was like. The jab wasn't much, but the jab was also stronger than the normal punch. However Cicilia was in for a surprise when she suddenly ducked her head down and pulled her body backwards letting the downward punch j narrowly avoid her.

It was a calculated risk, but given the way Cicilia was punching she was expecting some kind of attack to the face. However Abi didn't expect the punch to come in that hard or tough. Cici didn't seem to care about burning energy. For some reason, she wanted to go all out from the beginning. Abi never understood the strategy herself. The first round was a useful device to try and judge the oppositions strategy and strengths. Cicilia was just happy getting in and aggressive with her opponent.

Taking a step back, Abi would give off a smirk. "Not bad. Not bad at all. I was expecting a hook or a jab, nothing quite like that though. If I hadn't of taken a weave back... Well.." She raised her gard once more, going back to circle around Cicilia. This time she wanted to test and see if Cicilia would rush at her again and start wildly throwing punches. Surely Cicilia had a better strategy than that.

"Tsk..." Cicilia grumbled as Abi slipped just out of range of her punch, the downward arch BARELY missing her skull as the woman pulled back and away! The Juggernaut rarely ever had to worry about her energy in fights like this, after all her opponents were usually so pitiful, they could hardly take a single BLOW from her! It was like putting a minnow in a tank with a Shark and wonder why the shark mauls it so much the INSTANT it notices it's there... The better question would be: Why not? Why not end the match as quickly as possible when you understand your opponent cannot match you? Why give them the false impression they were stronger than they were...?

Why waste your time?

Abi was different only in the sense that she was tougher and mouthier than the rest... the second attribute truly being a testament to her ability to shovel shit. Everyone else ran from Cicilia's aggression, unable or unwilling to fight for the ground they lost by the step, always forcing the Juggernaut to chase them around like a fox after her chickens. Much like how that story went, it would only be a matter of time before Cicilia got her hands on them, hitting them so hard their their worlds would CRACK and their skulls would rattle, brains bouncing about the inside like the beads within a maraca. Abi would be no different... Her toughness would make this battle tread on a little longer... But it would all end the same.

It always ended the same.

"You'd be on the floor, gone." Cicilia remarked, completing her opponent's sentence. "You're tougher than most... but that's not going to save you. Sooner or later, You're going to screw up."

Abi began to circle her and Cicilia did the same, the two women taking a short recess from their heated clash. The problem with fighting defensively was that you sacrificed your offense... always running, always defending, keeping yourself safe... Cicilia's toughness and focus on enhancing her pool of stamina made her a TRUE threat, able to BULLDOZE at 100% longer than most fighters of her size could. Most fighters thought they could outlast someone like the Juggernaut... But this unstoppable force never slowed down. Not in her home-court: the Boxing Ring. She had the energy to box for days.... and god help anyone who thought they could get in her way!

Abi usually had the weight and height advantage that she could normally go around and play the role of the brute. She was the one that was usually in Cicilia's shoes. That didn't for one minute mean that she couldn't play a technical game. She had boxed with the best of them and got her recognition for her boxing skills. She wasn't going to let a brute outshine her.

She did recognise though that Cicilia was not your average boxer. Given Abi's advantages in height and weight most people wouldn't even consider it a contest between them. But Cicilia had the guts and the determination to keep going. Something most other girls failed to possess.

"This match is still in its early days. To say something as confident as that only makes you out to be a fool." Abi kept her composure as she carried on circling the woman, keeping an eye out as she got closer. Once she was in range she would throw a couple of left-right jab combos at the face. They weren't powerful, but were there to test her reaction and keep her on the defensive and more importantly, backing away from her.

"Aren't you a bloody hypocrite?" Cicilia remarked coldly. "You seem so sure you'll win. I've fought women much taller and much stronger than you... Don't think for a second you have any kind of advantage over ME." Cicilia didn't even bother trying to refute this woman's claims... Why would you even try? After all, trying to combat someone calling you "stupid" amounted to little more than an equally idiotic kindergarden-level spat. No, she would prove her point with her fucking FISTS, a metric that couldn't be debated or questioned or debated by anyone! Cicilia's record spoke for itself. Constantly, she came out on top over muscle-bound meatheads that were either slightly or FAR above the Juggernaut's MIGHTY power, Cicilia's own power growing substantially as she takes on bigger, stronger, more massive burdens with each accomplishment or failure! Every day she pushed herself harder... every day she destroyed her punching bags a little bit faster...

And now she was going to take that all out on Abi... someone who's pride in her own abilities (apparently) would go viciously unfounded!

While Abi tried to circle the Juggernaut, Cicilia would RUSH right in, arms folded over her upper-body and face like a bulwark, deflecting the incoming jabs that Abi would send her way! They bounced off her guard like arrows off of a raised tower-shield, the German taking note of their strength... how long they took to hit... if the arm was fully extended... It was true, Abi had a longer reach, something that would make exchanges (something Cicilia favored in fights with LESSER women) impossible. She would always come up short or just short enough to negate a great portion of her MIGHTY power. No, she had to get inside Abi's defenses, CRUSH her from behind her own lines... something a battery-ram could do with gusto!

As Abi retreated, no doubt fearful of the wrath she had brought upon herself, Cicilia charged ahead, throwing slow... but MIGHTY hooks, uppercuts and jabs at the woman's stomach, something much harder to actually evade-with than the head! Her attacks, as with her body, would grow in momentum, always falling back to defend the German in cycles, deflecting the woman's punches... then FIRING out in response! A rhythm of sorts, allowing for consistent and brutal pressure! While the Juggernaut had learned from experience that fighting rhythms were easily read and exploited by talented fighters... Cicilia was determined to end this fight soon... to steam-roll her foe just as she had many others!
