Abigail Larsen - Super Brawler Anime-boxer-girl-lineart-1

Name: Abigail Larsen
Sex: Female
Age: 26
Nationality: Korean
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 179lbs
Hair colour: Black
Eye Colour: Brown

Fighting Information

Style: Sexual-Brawler
Strategy: Using her boxing experience combined with her underground fighting experience too, Abigail combines the two styles to become an aggressive all out brawler, mixing in hentai moves if the match rules allows it just to keep her opponent off guard. She can fight without the sexual advances though, it is more of a personal preference than a required rule.

Preferred Attacks: Your usual punches (Jabs, Uppercuts, Hooks etc), The occasional kick (Usually mid and low kicks) and a few slams like DDTs etc for good measure.

Preferred Matches: Abigail doesn't have a match that she would outright decline. She doesn't like hentai matches with males, but if the reward was great enough she doesn't mind it. She prefers boxing and stoking matches as they are her strengths, barring that give her a no rules or hardcore fight in a cage and she is happy. She never backs down from a challenge, no matter who is issuing it.

Physical Stats
Endurance: ★★★★★ - Years of climbing into rings at the pro level and cages underground have given her a body that can take the hardest of hits and keep on going, something she is particularly proud of. Challenge her to Hawaiian Boxing…
Strength: ★★★★ - Behind her slender and voluptuous core, lies muscles that have been trained for combat. She can being the big guns to bear when she needs to, more so with her fists than anything else.
Speed: ★★★★ - People always say that heavyweight women can not be fast due to the weight. Well clearly they haven't met Abi. She has honed her reaction and movement speed over the years to allow her to become a little speed demon in the ring. Between moving fast and hitting hard, it has helped cement her reputation.
Defense: ★★★ - Defense has never been Abigail's strong suit. Where possible she prefers to be in the attack. If she gets trapped or cornered then she quickly gets into trouble and relies on her endurance to help her weather the storm.
Technique: ★★★ - How you rate Abigail and her technique depends on the criteria you use: if you judge her based on her boxing ability, she is 6 stars and breaks the boundary, but if you judge her on her wrestling only skills it drops to almost nothing. Outside of her boxing skill, she has had to learn everything else as she goes and hasn't received any formal training in it.

Fighting Stats
Strikes: ★★★★★ - Abi's strongest asset. Helped her become the pro boxing champion she is today.
Submissions: ★★ - Beyond basic holds, Abi hasn't really gotten involved with submission moves, preferring the knockout to the submission. The only time she uses holds is to weaken a stronger opponent in the cage or apply some kind of Hentai move.
Powerhouse: ★★★★ - Given her weight and height against other women, Abi has natural advantages when it comes to charging in and throwing people around like ragdolls.
Aerial: - ★ - A totally new area for Abi to explore as both the ring and cage gave her no opportunities to throw herself off the turnbuckle.
Counters: ★★★ - Can most certainly counter strikes by bobbing and punching back. Submission counters are a little trickier for her, but she relies on raw strength to try and bust out of submissions and so far, even against male opponents she has not been let down.

Signature Moves
Beauty Shot - More of a showing off technique more than a match ender, Abi begins to Bob and weave and in the process release a rapid hook or jab, depending on the angle, each time she moves. Against normal opponents she tends to just move from the two same positions, but against boxers or pro strikes she varies up the distance and angle so that she isn't predictable. Mostly that was a lesson she learnt in the underground against a boxer who managed to work out the pattern in between getting punched and was able to counter punch and knock Abi out right in the middle of doing her own signature move. Since then she has varied the pattern and hasn't been caught out. The idea behind the move was the opponent was getting hit so quickly from so many angles they couldn't react at all, but certain opponents are able to weather the storm better than others.

Finishing Moves
The Jawbreaker - While it is a chessily named finisher and Abi isn't proud of it, don't let it fool you. The Jawbreaker is a simple but effective finisher: Afterall it is just a single uppercut. But as any boxer will tell you, a good uppercut can end a match, and Abi has spent a good chunk of her life perfecting hers and experimenting in the underground has given her a way of improving its power. Priming the move, Abi hunches down, bending her legs into a crouching position.

What she is actually doing is storing energy in her legs, a bit like a spring that has been pressed down on. She then launches herself upwards, starting the uppercut as soon as she starts rising, combing the motion from the uppercut itself with the motion from the rising upwards, and it makes for a punch that can devastate… and has actually broken a jaw. Though only one sadly.

Abi compares the success of the attack based on how high off the ground her opponent goes after the fist hits them in the jaw. But she has noticed that while smaller opponents go higher, it is the taller opponents who take more damage from it. Abi's theory is that when the uppercut hits a smaller opponent the punch hasn't reached terminal velocity and energy on her side is wasted. Against taller opponents the punch has more time to build that speed and therefore increase the power. It has become a bit of a scientific experiment for her now, and there are already a few people she is eyeing up in the division to try this move on.

Personality: Abi is quite the Cocky fighter. Back in her early days she was too shy and timid, but now she has medals and belts under her… belt, she has swung the other way. That doesn't make her a nasty person in the slightest. She respects opponents who are as strong as her, but will never openly tell them that, preferring to trash talk and get into their face instead. She enjoys the trash talking and boasting just as much as she enjoys fighting.

Outside the ring, Abi can be a fun person to hang around with, even if she is still quite competitive. She can be a tease as well to anyone who she sees as inferior, constantly nagging them to get better or mocking them for it. She says it is for their own good but in reality it is because she wants more opponents to fight.

To prospective girlfriends, Abi can be a handful. She most certainly likes to think she is the one in charge and if you want to be the dominant one expect regular fights for Abi to prove she is better. She is however a loving person so she will say she loves you even as she pinning you down and punching your face to a pulp!

History: Born in South Korea to an American Mother and a Korean Father, the decision to give Abi an American name was somewhat of a controversial one. Her early years at school she had been labeled as a foreigner numerous times by fellow pupils, and mocked and teased accordingly. Normally this would resort to most people to violence to stop the bullying, but her parents had already planned for this and from the age of five, Abi attended martial arts classes a her father's gym, giving her that outlet in private to let off steam.

A few years of martial arts had started to pay off, but even the young Abu didn't enjoy it. She wanted a different challenge, and asked her father if she could join the boxers in the gym instead. At this point the gym never had a junior boxing program so she just rocked up with the teenagers. The first few months were hard, but little Abi was a ball of energy and was able to keep up with the boxing drills and exercises. It seemed that Abi had finally found her groove. She began to see school and merely a place you went to before you got to go boxing, and even began training before school in the home. While her parents were worried about her grades they were also impressed with the dedication that she was showing to her craft and sport.

And that all paid off eventually. After signing up to and consequently winning several junior boxing shows, Abi was scouted by the South Korean Junior Boxing Association. She had gotten a place on their team and had access to coaching that her father could only dream of. So began the rise of Abigail Larsen. By the time she had hit her teens, the parents had to dedicate a whole wall in the lounge to honour their daughters achievements. Abi had grown into a right little soldier, dedicated and ready to fight.

As her teens began early adulthood all that training and dedication had paid off and she had been chosen to join the 2012 Olympic boxing team at the age of 19. It was a big moment for Abi, leaving Korea, leaving Asia in fact, to go and compete on an international stage where everyone was watching. Nerves should have destroyed her. But the young woman stood firm and managed to compete rather well. So we'll that she managed to do what many thought was impossible and pick up the gold for South Korea.

Abi however wasn't exactly prepared for what came next. And neither was her family. Returning home, she became a hero and celebrity, suddenly TV shows wanted to speak to her and she was thrust right into a limelight she never asked for. While it was a tense experience for her, she knew that after it was all over she could at the very least go back to her fathers gym and just train.

Winning Gold however did open a few doors for her and she now had a professional boxing contract. Every heavyweight female boxer that side of Asia wanted a piece of her now it seemed and Abi wasn't going to say no to getting to fight tougher opponents. The step up from Olympic boxing to pro boxing is a transition that come struggle to get to grips with, but Abi didn't have any issues at all and relished in the challenge. She worked her way up the leagues quickly, and soon enough had her first belt, becoming the South Korean Female Heavyweight Champion.

Despite all of this domestic success, Abi never really took off internationally. She had the odd fight in the US, mostly on the West Coast, but asides from that she stayed mostly at home. And even with all the wins and the belts and medals, Abi still felt as if she was missing something, or perhaps wanting a new challenge.

It was around this time that Abi got her first girlfriend. Afterall she had spent most of her life in close contact with women, even from her teen years, so for her, being bisexual felt more natural than being straight. It was only after they started dating that Abi realised her girlfriend was a fighter too, but instead of fighting in a ring with cameras, she fought in a cage with no cameras. Namely, underground fighting. At first, Abi shunned the whole idea as just being stupid, but supported her girlfriend regardless. She never however went to watch or take part, that was until one night when the gym was closed and Abi, who needed the gym to vent her frustrations, was forced to go see her girlfriend.

That night was one that she was never going to forget soon. She decided to take part and the fight that she got was one of the toughest she had in years. She had finally found her challenge again. As the months wore on, she turned up to the gym less and less and the underground more and more. Despite this she was able to keep it all a secret, mostly because it was a deep tradition to keep this kind of fighting a secret. The dream however came apart when she broke up with her girlfriend. It felt awkward turning up and so she stopped eventually. She could have gone back to her professional boxing career, but it would going back into long training camps and whatnot. Stuff that she just wasn't interested in anymore.

She still took on a couple of Pro fights that year. Still won them all, but it was never a quick victory. It was obvious to fans that Abi had all but switched off. The idea for her future came up one night when she was browsing the Web and saw a 'where are they now' article on a fighting website. It was there she had seen the names of boxers and other high profile fighters she had seen and where they had all ended up: The AFW… the graveyard of the elite as the website put it. Still. That didn't matter it meant that she could go and fight more people, and not always be confined to a ring if she didn't want to.

So later that week, in a rather public fashion, Abi announced she was going to leave professional boxing and start her professional "Wrestling" career instead. The announcement was very high profile and was covered by most reputable sporting magazines in Asia at the time. The hardest change for Abi so far though: the fact that she was going to be far away from her parents for very long periods of time. Still. It hurt. But she had a job to do. They were titles to win and women to knock out. The only question is where to start?[/b][/b]
