AV 19 Main Event World Championship - Adrian Kytes (c) vs. Alaina Sanders

Adrian had presented a target and Alaina had struck it right in the bullseye. Her head was barely above the second rope before the Amazon came charging in, jumping up to drive her knee into the side of the champion's skull with a satisfying smack as she flew past, landing on the middle rope as the Bullet Club commando was spun around, settling for lying limply against the middle rope as her legs turned to jelly beneath her.

Alaina landed a hard strike and Adrian's body language told her all she needed to know: She had an opening and would be a complete fool not to exploit that opening to the fullest! Alaina grabbed Adrian around the head and pulled her away from the ropes, reaching down to grab the waist of her attire. Alaina bent her knees and lift Adrian up looking like a delayed vertical suplex at first glance. However Alaina jumped up and spun, attempting to bring Adrian crashing down hard to the mat with a jackhammer! Alaina wanted to unleash some of her nastiest moves now that Adrian was dazed so she was going big out the gate, and would remain on top of Adrian to try to pin her if successful!

Adrian was putty in the Amazon's hands, to the point where her legs couldn't remain straight in the air as Alaina lifted her up for what looked like a vertical suplex, only for the bigger woman to snap down and put an exclamation mark on the impact, driving the former cosplayer to the canvas with a devastating Jackhammer! One of Adrian's legs even flopping gracefully into Alaina's grasp for her to hook as she pinned the champion, the crowd counting along with her and the referee "ONE!"

"TWO!"

Alaina's eyes were wide and she could feel the crowd energy as she herself was about to lose it. One more second and she would prove to the world that she really was the best! "Come on come on come on......." Alaina said quietly to herself as she kept Adrian pinned to the mat. Adrian had put her through a wringer so far but Alaina had given it back to her, weathering the storm. The amazon was determined to make tonight her night in the biggest match on the biggest stage!

Gaping for breath on the canvas, it looked as though Adrian Kytes was 100% out of the fight but something made her jerk and twist her shoulder up just high enough for the referee to see it, ending the count at two and nine tenths much to the disappointment of the crowd and challenger. Although as far as the champion was concerned being bummed out from not winning was "First World Problems" levels of inane compared to how she was feeling having been battered and squished under the Amazon.

Alaina was right there, on the cusp of being THE champion... and Adrian kicked out! Alaina let out a loud sigh, shaking her head in disbelief as Adrian kept herself going! Alaina stood up and pulled Adrian up by the hair, shoving her head between her legs. "Ok thats it no way you are going to get up from this one!" Alaina said as the crowd cheered recognizing Alaina setting herself up to deliver a big amabomb to Adrian!

With the way Adrian's knees buckled as Alaina threw the champion's head between her legs, it looked as though the Amazon was going to have to lift the sack of potatoes that was Adrian's body up with a deadlift if she wanted to get the former cosplayer up on her shoulders, but it didn't take too much effort from the bigger woman to hoist her up in the air ready to go straight back down. It was easy, too easy.

When Adrian got up at the apex, the Bullet Club leader kept going, trying to vault over the head of the Amazon and over, legs going wide to try and break Alaina's grip while Adrian herself tried to grab the challenger's waistband on the way down, flipping over as she tried to pull the Amazon down with a sunset flip.

Alaina had Adrian lift up and in position but the crafty champion had other plans! The crowd groaned as they saw what was going on all while a shocked amazon was falling backwards instead! "W-what? No!" Alaina howled as she was flipped over, landing forcefully on her back and stuck underneath Adrian! This was bad and Alaina was in poor position to try to get out of her predicament! She struggled and was having no initial success whatsoever!

It had been a desperate act, an idea that managed to get through by virtue of most of the parts of the champion's brain that would have said "No, that's stupid" were currently still recovering from the last couple of shots the Amazon dished out. Still, Adrian's somewhat sloppy sunset flip had passed the most dangerous stage even without the former cosplayer hooking the legs on the way down for a proper Yoshi Tonic powerbomb counter. There was no Aloha-Alaina, the challenger's shoulders were down and all Adrian had to do was hold on and pray that the sheer surprise would be enough to buy her three all important moments.

"ONE!"

Alaina was still in shock as the count started and her throbbing body pulsed with pain every time she made even the smallest of movements!

"TWO!"

This was bad, and the referee's hand was back up in the air starting a final descent as Alaina let out a scream and thrust her legs out to break the pin and send Adrian rolling! The amazon herself was still shocked at what just happened, internally frustrated that she couldn't land the one last big move to put Adrian away. However she did stop herself from getting pinned and hopefully her kick out sent Adrian far enough away for her to rise back to her feet without being attacked.
